The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 150 - The Pursuit Begins

The commander of the Central Military Faction was said to be at the headquarters, they went straight there to discuss the key of the B-1 Laboratory. While in another matter Xin Chen was being vigilant, it should be today and in the same place the Night Protector would be scattering the explosive action at the headquarters.

He saw the situation was still normal as it should be, there was nothing strange. The face of the Central Military Faction Commander was visible from a distance and the anger inside his chest was still not a corner. They went to the meeting room. And it was only there that Xin Chen could protest the man's lies.

"You lied to me?"

Xin Chen pulled the man's collar, to the point that his feet were hard pressed down on the ground. His attitude countenance drew many of the Commandant's subordinates closer and threatened him to immediately let go of their lead.

The commander of the Central Military Faction raised one hand, gesturing for his men not to interfere and left the place so that they could speak alone.

They hesitantly left Xin Chen and the Commander.

"I don't intend to lie to you." One word came out, but Xin Chen had already lost faith in the man. He had thought of punching the jaws of the Central Military Faction Commander. But for him right now the most important thing is to calm down first. He had lost control several times, if now Xin Chen had let go and regained control maybe the man's life would not have survived.

"Good, calm your mind first." The man removed Xin Chen's hand from her, telling the young man to sit down.

"You know. A lot of terrible things I've been dealing with down there. Even the most powerful latest Infected Type of the strongest. Sss Type. They're crazy to create it."

"Must be ... They succeed?"

"And you're telling me to save such a terrible experiment?"

Luckily Laboratory B-1 along with the dreadful infected had been flattened along with the ground. Xin Chen could not imagine if the entire infected was on par with what he saw yesterday. Perhaps there will be no more humans left in this Empire.

"If I tell you the truth, I'm sure you'll immediately reject this request." The man began to speak, though he himself was at a loss where to begin. Everything that happened in the Wei Empire was so long that even a single sentence was unable to describe it.

"Our own Central Military Faction gets orders directly from superiors. To immediately save the box before the place was blown up."

"I failed to save him and I think it would be much more dangerous if it fell into the man's hands."

"Who?"

"Qin Yujin's. The most terrifying enemy that ever lived. You might just see him as a pitiful, frail man. But what he can do will scare you to shiver. The man is the estuary of danger. He must be killed. I will definitely chase after him and kill him right away until there's not a single drop of blood left of him."

Seeing the hatred and anger fused in those blue eyes, the Commander of the Central Military Faction could only draw the conclusion that there had been a personal conflict between the two people. But at least he knew who Qin Yujin was talking about despite just a cursory glance.

"The goal of the person you're referring to may be the same as His Majesty's. Hey, amigo. Let me tell you one secret."

The Central Military Faction Commander leaned his back against the wall, facing towards him. "Our country is the least fortunate. There are not many mountains, murky ocean water, farmland that is always overridden by drought. We were unlucky in many aspects. Often famine and disease spread like wildfire. But one advantage we have, our brains are smarter than the people out there."

"The only way we can live properly is to find a new place. His Majesty is thinking of taking your territory and making it his new coveted residence."

A faint smile disappeared from his face. Actually, his childhood was difficult. Repeatedly used as experimental material and dying on the streets swarming with flies. Everyone must have gone through their worst times.

"I'm just running my mission. But it looks like they didn't trust us and sent people to get the whole thing."

"Whole?" repeat Xin Chen.

"Look over there." He pointed at a box with his chin. It's like a box in a B-1 lab.

Those eyes looked out the window, his face pias. No longer knowing what kind of anger to make those people stop torturing their fellow humans.

"If they manage to make it and start producing massively. We must prepare for the most terrible destruction. Bodies will be scattered everywhere and Infected will rule this world. Just wait for their time to burn all that down and create a new place to live. With the death of so many people, they could have been more powerful and started all over again. That's what they want."

"I have to chase that box"

Such a powerful explosion suddenly boomed, shocking everyone who was instantly thrown and partially in the flames. Xin Chen flinched, finding a huge fire flashed by. The commander of the Central Military Faction caught fire on his left shoulder.

Xin Chen extinguished the fire, "Hidden! The Night Protector will attack!"

"Night Protector?! How do you know?"

"Don't ask too many questions! They'll blow up the back and sides too! If you find the bomb, get rid of it and prepare for the next attack."

The commander of the Central Military Faction loudly replied afterwards, giving directions as quickly as possible.

"You go and find the box! Most likely now he was going to the Emperor Palace, located to the southwest. There are no infected but beware of such strict guarding! Come back here, we can handle the ones here!"

"Ready, commander."

Xin Chen left, the Commander of the Central Military Faction was astonished when the young man called him commander but on the other hand the crisis was having fun coming to their place. There was no other choice, the man had to go back to face the Night Protector. Deaths are inevitable if the fight has already begun. To seek the path of peace is like a myth. It was hard to believe the two camps who already hated each other would cooperate with each other in order to survive.

Xin Chen was ushered in by one of the men who said he was sent by the Commander of the Central Military Faction to escort Xin Chen out.

"After getting out of here, you're not allowed to come back except for one thing" he said. "The box."

Xin Chen watched as the man opened the large chain that bound the door that thick. His face looked tense, and it was true that from behind someone shot at his head.

"Go quickly!!" he shouted before finally exhaling his last breath. Xin Chen ran as fast as he could from there, finding in front of him hundreds of tall buildings waiting. The danger for him, from up there have been many shooters who are stalking their lives.

True said the Commander of the Central Military Faction, Central is not a place that can be visited by random people. Only those deemed interested are allowed to come. Above the Central Military Faction there was still an even larger organization and they had their own privileges.

Seeing that there was almost no infection around him, Xin Chen turned his body into a spirit form. Disappeared in the heat of the day. The men were shocked, for a few minutes not seeing anyone coming out of hiding with a face that seemed to say, "I saw him here!"

Xin Chen had left from there, passing through a steep sidelines. As long as his eyes looked, not a single one was infected in this acre-wide land. Clean. He could breathe a sigh of relief after a long time of restraint not using spirit power. It is difficult with the human body. The cold night air can make him sick.

Long walked Xin Chen to the point of not realizing around him the two infected were walking closer to the wire fence that had been electrified.

The spirit power lost control back, Xin Chen was shaken. Two spirits came out and entered the empty body, filling it with the power of hers and making the two infected women turn aggressive. Xin Chen retreated far away, at the moment no one could see him. He tried to see if the spirit would attack him.

Butno. When the spirit has entered the infected body, they change and can no longer see their fellow spirits. But Xin Chen himself only had a few minutes to be invisible, the rest if they could see him could be depleted of matters. He will also be attacked.

The two infected climbed over the fence, ran into a group of officers in the middle of the field who were shocked not playing. Instantly the crowd split apart and the sound of gunfire rang out loud. A dying scream and a terrified cry dyed the atmosphere that afternoon. Xin Chen had no intention of saving them, those people could be his enemies.

Xin Chen smiled.

"It's gonna be an interesting thing."
