The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 248 - Help of Heaven

Elsewhere a fierce tremor reached the Emperor's palace. The man watched out from the long window the size of his body, could clearly be seen a black cloud covering the entire district one. At first he thought it was just an ordinary storm.

However one of the spirits that targeted his place made Emperor Yin's face tense.

"Destroying.."

The first sentence that came out of his mouth was accompanied by fear of the past. That power was once a frightening specter, even before his reign his father was overwhelmed by the power of the spirit who was considered the greatest threat at that time.

The surge of power gathered in the center of the district with a bright blue light.

"Is that his real strength?"

His face is very tense. One time the next vibration is accompanied by the wind that makes the window crack.

"Your Majesty, there is a call from Ancestor Eleven. It's an emergency" said one man of his faith. Emperor Yin turned his head, trying to wipe out his thoughts just now. Closed meetings have been held repeatedly and they still do not find a solution to face this crisis. Now, the ancestors will surely satirize his questionable policies. Things get worse, people start to think it's not good.

"I'll be there soon."

The Eleventh Ancestor's private house was only a few meters away from the palace, with the male super-tight escort arriving there. Several other higher-ups had already gathered, the condition of the male called the Eleven Ancestor was getting worse.

"This plague has been happening for thousands of years, there's only one way to stop it.."

His voice shook violently, the old man's body convulsing in the bed. Emperor Yin approached, grieving at the state of one of the important people in the Qing Empire. The maid said the man had a high fever with convulsions. His life might have been around a while, but since a few hours ago Ancestor Eleven kept asking Emperor Yin to come to his residence.

"A person who inherits the blood of the devil... Great strength and brave soul ..." Those partially white eyes were staring at the ceiling, his mouth open withstanding pain.

"... The Seal of Destruction is in the dungeon of our Empire. A year after the death of the Son of Satan ... Someone brought him here and sealed him in..."

His body was getting convulsed, not once twice until he almost jumped from the bed. Some people kept their mouths shut, perhaps Ancestor Eleven was meeting its end. Emperor Yin closed his eyes, not until the heart saw the sight.

"Armghhhh!!" He choked his own throat, yelled undetermined, started clawing at people around. Suddenly the people in his room panicked and began to retreat, only Emperor Yin was the closest.

The Eleven Ancestor jumped up and strangled Emperor Yin, biting the man's hand as he attempted to break free. The soldiers entered the room immediately, binding Ancestor Eleven swiftly.

Panic was drawn on everyone's faces, droplets of blood still falling on Emperor Yin's arm.

"Yes-His Majesty ..." One of the ancestors started to worry.

"Why is he attacking all of a sudden?" One woman began to protest, no one had said anything about Ancestral Eleven's illness clearly other than just fever or convulsions. One of the servants prostrated, scared to death.

"Again, Madam. But Ancestor Eleven told us to keep this a secret, because he knew he would be killed before making his point of asking you here." He prostrated.

"Eleven ancestors have been infected. And this is the third day after she's bitten."

Among all the people who were clearly panicking, Emperor Yin was speechless. Even so, his face was pale.

"This is a big deal! Anyone, find the antidote! The Empire will pay anything to buy it!!"

The orders of one of them, dozens of soldiers dispersed spreading the word.

"Your Majesty, you're okay?"

"Your Majesty! Please calm down, we'll find the cure as soon as possible!"

The voices began to echo, panic mixed with fear of uniting in the room even until Emperor Yin was brought to his place in the palace.

The fall of Emperor Yin was the beginning of a great defeat, when the crisis occurred and instead their leader died, no one could guarantee the empire would survive or not from the plague.

The circle of black wind continued to revolve within district one, the feet of the Black Line ducking the giant hole until its body entered completely inside. The black creature came out with its legs against the edge of the hole. Dragging thousands of infected armoured falls into the hole.

Because not using bait Xin Chen had to find another way. He put on a human form and ran in all directions, collecting the infected at the edge of the hole and the Black Line would drag the corpses into the hole. Along with the rest of the wooden ruins and other items.

Xin Chen returned to his original position on the top floor of the fortress, he used such great strength to get this far. District 1 was already clean although it could not be said to be a hundred percent. The Black Line disappeared. Now the rest burn the creatures away.

Xin Chen intended to take a breath for a moment, but a shock made him wake up again to see what was happening.

Unexpectedly infected inside the hole it began to act aggressively. But that was not what surprised him, but the ability of the corpses to climb the hole hundreds of meters high.

He had never encountered that sight before, Xin Chen could not be late or they would flee from there.

The Prison Fire of Eternity radiated from the ring of the edge of the hole up to the top. From the embers of the fire, one by one the corpses crawled out and started running to where Xin Chen was. The creatures should not be able to know its existence because it is far away, moreover, its spirit body does not have a human smell

Xin Chen was forced to float upwards, paying attention from a height. His original plan was starting to crumble.

One of the infected below roared, the reverberations were extremely loud, they were very different from before. As Xin Chen watched in a place so far away from the Qing Empire, a red radiance gushed through the clouds. The roar of being infected was so loud from all over. Like a force is awakening something.

Xin Chen could not guess what was going on, but if this was all related to the Demon Tears then he already did not have much time left.

"This time," Xin Chen created the Black Line back, the roots arising from underground, bringing the infected into the pit by force. Burning fire with the bodies trying to get out of the hole is not a good idea. It took him hours to finish him off.

There was only one power capable of wiping out all those corpses in a single short strike.

"The Curse Driver," he murmured.

Cloudy gathered overhead, the sunlight drifting, appearing in the cracks of the clouds. Leaving a scary atmosphere. The strange weather began to be visited by lightning.

As the clouds rolled in, a gigantic palm appeared. Having seen it a few times even Xin Chen would definitely goosebumps. The power of the Lightning God was terrifying, its level was far different from that of the Fire Goddess.

The hand of the Lightning God that was up there cast an ancient luminous spell, continuously moving around as the power of lightning gathered in the hand. In a single lightning strike, a powerful earthquake shattered the surrounding land by nearly a hundred meters. Xin Chen who was still standing in his place was just staring.

This time it was not so difficult to ask the owner of the power to contribute power to help him.

The Lightning of the Curse had fallen, Xin Chen could hardly believe the armored corpses were no longer moving and were instantly burnt black. If the Fire of Eternity required hours of Lightning Curse it would only take three seconds to annihilate them.

"I thank you so much that you always help me" he murmured, though he was not sure the Lightning Master heard it.

Xin Chen was fixated as he looked at the figure of a glowing man with hair tied to his waist standing in the opposite fortress. Her clothes glowed brightly, flying as the wind blew fiercely from below. He had a sword carved by foreign inscriptions.

Those terrifying white eyes momentarily looked at him, accompanied by a loud bang that continued to hammer. The surrounding ground cracked and started floating in the air along with flakes of light circling the figure.

"Next time don't bother me. Or you're the one I'm going to obey the Lightning Curse."

Xin Chen could hear the sound so close that they were far apart. A second later, the figure simply disappeared.

'More fierce than the Lightning Fox turned out, ' her inner self.
