Ch. 267 - The Last Page of the Age of Destruction
Hu Yaongi - The End of Human Suffering.
Red crystal pieces were flying around a person on a boulder, his gaze blank and so desperate. The shadow of a demonic figure inside the coffin flashed repeatedly. How the figure was so resigned to his death. A gaze full of hatred and suffering loomed over him every second.
A word that always repeats itself in his head,
"This time I'll leave with no regrets."
This sacrifice is to protect all those he loves. Xin Chen could imagine a time where all these crises had disappeared, his family gathering together exchanging jokes. As well as the other families, they did not need to feel fear anymore.
He wants to make that day happen. The red crystals continued to spin, something in Xin Chen's hand was airborne. It was the Demon Tears, behind its outer shell was a single eye inside that held immense power. The eyes that would never rot, were just like the demon blood Xin Chen had once encountered.
The Annihilation Seal sheet flew towards the Demon Tears which began to form a mature male form, no face or shape. Only a bright silhouette of light resembling a human could speak.
"You sure of your decision?"
Xin Chen was about to be surprised, but it seemed unmistakable, The Demon Tears still kept the owner's soul inside.
"You are the demon I met at that Old Castle," Xin Chen said. The figure had horns, Xin Chen could confirm it.
"You're switching the conversation. Aren't you going to regret this decision?"
"Nothing to regret."
"I see sadness in your eyes, just like me."
Next to the eyes on the face of the demon of light it looked very real, it was the real Demon Tears.
"When to let go of all that you have fought for the safety of others. You've fought this far, but in the end you'll have to suffer alone." There was a faint laugh, "Isn't this unfair? You must feel that way, right? Be honest."
"I have no other choice" he replied. Shakes slowly.
"When I hear laughter in my house, I think they can stay happy even if I'm not there. The New Era and the Unification of the Third Empire are my only goals. Now the three Empires had made peace, and the Six Heavenly Heirlooms had been annihilated. Only left to reach the New Era and I can achieve it by ... "
His eyes looked confidently at the Devil.
"Sacrificing my life."
"Alright then," said the demon. "The two of us are the end of the last page of the Annihilation Era. Don't take back your words, you won't regret any of this."
Xin Chen nodded. Until slowly the power of demonic light spread throughout Hu Yaongi.
The ground under Xin Chen's feet shook violently. Earthquakes that are so powerful that they occur for almost ten minutes, if around them there is an ocean maybe a tsunami could have occurred and swept the entire place. No one lived in Hu Yaongi other than the old houses that had been abandoned.
The power of light spread out, like a root propagating from where Xin Chen stood to the tip of Hu Yaongi bounded by mountains and rivers.
Next to Xin Chen's hand held each other with the demon, just then Xin Chen glared. In just a second his strength was sucked in very much. The pain begins to run all over the body and in the next two days it will continue. The shadow of death began to come, Xin Chen knew where this end all was.
The Seal of Destruction and Absolute is one thing that cannot be separated. Now with the power from his body the Destruction Seal began to emit an immense force, a bright light shot up into the sky and split into flying flakes of light.
At the ground level Hu Yaongi streaks of light continued to extend and spread to the far reaches. The greater the range, the more power the Destruction Seal took from Xin Chen.
Blood came out from his mouth, it was only the first two hours that Xin Chen's feet nearly collapsed. Not only his strength, even the energy flowing within the cells up to his bones was also being mercilessly absorbed. The demon in front of him warned,
"Defend, how much. You have to hold it to the last stage. Otherwise all your sacrifices will be in vain. Once activated to succeed or not, this seal will still ask for your life. If that happens then no one will be able to solve all of this."

And all that power was obtained from Xin Chen's body which began to be gnawed to the roots.
"I've asked before and you agree. There's no going back, you have to finish this until the end."
Xin Chen almost let go of his handrails, he clasped the hands of the light demon tighter and tighter, both of his eyebrows were united with his face so seriously. Blood flowed from his mouth which said,
"Stay do, I will definitely finish the last task until the end."
Compared to that, the flow of white light makes the night in Hu Yaongi bright. The radiance of light even bounced off in the hanging night clouds, watching a young man who was starting to approach his dying threshold again.

The Light Devil propped him up and helped Xin Chen stand up.
"Don't give up, I know it hurts, but remember your goal, you have to finish it" she asked. Xin Chen held on to the arms of the Light Devil hand to get up and get back on his feet, only a whisper was heard from him. Very very small.
"I ... Will finish it ..."
The Seal of Destruction entered the final stage which was much more than a hurtful word. Created a transparent protector around Xin Chen and the demon. The power of light began to encroach on to other Empires.
