The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 159 - Return to the Central Military Faction

Lang with a black robe on his body had already explored the Central Central from end to end, finding one clue where he saw an emblem and inscription similar to Luo Li's inlay.

By posing as a human to a drugstore, Lang manages to dig up more information about who Master Luo Li is. He lived in a temple where an old college stood. It was in a remote area of the Wei Empire, deep in the woods and hills. It was filled with monks and medicine experts who created traditional medicine, but the place was hard to reach. And from the explanation of the drugstore owner who sold the medicinal products of the college, the figure he was looking for was old.

But he was a Great Master there. It was called the Rain Temple. Because the area is always covered with cloudy and rain in high frequency. Many medicinal plants grew lush there. Lang had bought drugs, as a matter of fact so that the store owner did not suspect him. He turned around, got out of the tavern and found so many officers scattering on the street.

He heard the news of Emperor Shi's killing from one of the citizens. His eyes stared at the paper leaflet containing the contest. Astounded.

"Xin Chen son of the devil. I'll shake your head later." said Lang along the way, he could smell Xin Chen's scent. It was not difficult for him to do that and find his hiding place.

No need to be asked, Lang came straight to Xin Chen using a stone.

"What are you doing?"

"Oi, oi, relax Lang. Relax-"

"Your grandmother's head is relaxed!"

"Don't take my grandmother, just know the guy you haven't spoken to."

Lang wanted to get angry even more fiercely but given the current state they had to hide in, the wolf held back his anger slowly. But his big hand still continued to shake Xin Chen's forehead.

"Can't you give me a headache?"

"Oh, you deserve to buy some headache medicine." Xin Chen looked at Lang's luggage. Herbal remedies. Didn't expect a Lang-type demon to be dizzy like an old man.

"Has right the Xin Fai was depressed in her inner self while looking after you. You've done nothing to make blood rise, haven't done anything yet. You know what you're involved in now?"

"Where should I explain?"

"Fucking kid. You know what you're doing, but why are you still so reckless?"

Xin Chen took out a blue box that was tightly locked, leaving Lang silent for a moment from his almost unrelenting chatter. He hid the box back, looking around vigilantly.

"This thing must be destroyed. If not, millions of lives could be lost. You gotit? I dare get involved in something big because there's a big threat in it."

It seems that Lang still does not agree, but everything has happened, especially what he wants to protest.

He began to think, Xin Chen was the only human he could not control in contrast to Xin Fai back then. At least his best friend was still listening and understanding his words. Not with Xin Chen. He's much more reckless and crazy than his father.

"Pity this second child. Born maybe his brain was left in his mother's stomach."

Xin Chen stumped. The piercing last sentence Lang took out before going to bed rolling his tail in the corner of the room made his mind offended.

But Xin Chen realized he was wrong too. He knows what Lang means. The wolf was worried about him, even if Xin Fai knew about this, the man would be as anxious as Lang.

And this is his decision. Xin Chen could only guarantee that he would be held accountable for this decision. He is an adult and knows exactly what he is doing.

Two hours later, Lang was about to speak, Xin Chen stared long ago at the wood that had become charcoal.

He answers. "Take this box to the Central Military Faction and make sure it is charred. You alone, have you gotten a clue about Master Luo Li?"

Lang explained all the information he had. A hint of hope would lead them to the only person who could make medicine for Ren Yuan. Xin Chen felt closer to his goal. But on the other hand he realized, Qin Yujin would definitely not be silent after knowing her plan was foiled.

"alright. I-i understand. Tonight we move to Camp Southeast."

Xin Chen and Lang waited for the early hours of the morning until the officers standing guard on the streets dispersed. After making sure outside was safe, Xin Chen intended to head outside through the back door. But his steps were intercepted when he found a figure from a distance that looked familiar.

Xin Chen was thinking of killing that person, his hand had prepared to pull the sword but Lang held back his steps.

"Trust me, we'll only get into new trouble if we serve it. He's been luring you out."

Lang looked at Qin Yujin who was crazily on the streets, he rampaged slamming anything around. Residents could only hide in homes frightened by his crazy-like behavior.

Qin Yujin shouted.

"Get out, you coward! I've been wanting to tear your flesh apart for a long time! H*ram's son! After Fu Hua, now you again?! There's just something you failed with that j*lang! The most suitable are you! The son of h*ram and the son of j*lang!"

Various swearing and insults made Xin Chen's blood boil. He was born honorably in the Xin Clan and is now being abused by men who are nothing more than the scum of that society. He had been banished from the Qin clan. A respected Emperor in his Empire.

The anger in Xin Chen's chest did not subside. Lang added.

"Cool your head. Look around that guy. He prepared an unnatural number of hit men. He knew you'd be lured if he told you about your parents. Don't be fooled."

Xin Chen tried to heed his ears over Qin Yujin's constantly echoing curse. Listen to Lang. Right now his position was in danger, the name of the Xin clan was at stake. Once he is caught, the name Devil Sword will not survive.

Xin Chen did not want that to happen. This time Qin Yujin could escape. Next time he'll kill her mercilessly. He hurriedly said,

"We're leaving. Hurry."

Lang followed Xin Chen from behind, towards the Central border surrounded by electric wire. Leaving the Central Central before sunrise and moving straight towards the Central Military Faction which was quite a distance away from the central.

Upon arriving at a door closely watched by a group of Central Military Factions, someone gave a gesture to his companions. It was as if it recognized who was walking from a distance with a wolf demon.

Wen greeted Xin Chen slightly, as if in disbelief his new friend had returned from the Central Center alive.

"Your face is showing good news, man."

"really? It seems you're not wrong this time." Xin Chen welcomed Wen's hand. The dark-skinned man looked at the left right vigilantly.

"Hurge in, I'm afraid a spy is watching us. You know the situation in the Empire is in chaos."

After putting Xin Chen inside, they directly moved to the headquarters where dozens of men filled along the spacious building. There are many rooms, in the hallway of the road they are no less crowded.
