Ch. 38 - Behind His Face
One large blow fell to the surface of the earth, causing a loud echo that exploded in the eardrum. Vortex-shaped air waves appear and move away in all directions, accompanied by the sound of ground cracks up to hundreds of meters into the earth.
The opening of their toughest enemy was quite terrifying. Xin Zhan could not hide his nervousness. Seeing that man did not look at them as affectionately as before. His gaze was cold and full of desire to kill.
"You guys are so scared? Ahahaha!!"
The woman's voice appeared right behind them. Before the two of them had a chance to look at his figure moving places and appearing in front of them through the dimension of void space.
"Kids like you have played too far. Look, your father is already furious. The only way to save himself is to kill him."
Xin Chen's eyes widened. He moved without a second thought and thrust his sword towards the woman rashly.
Xin Zhan was shocked. It was not usual for Xin Chen to behave so rashly. That unprovoked attack had left him injured. The woman first stabbed him before Xin Chen hit him.
Xin Chen's spirit form began to appear fading. A puncture in her stomach caused the woman to form a black hole that does not want to close at all. His regeneration slowed as his strength began to drain. The moves belonging to the Lightning God earlier should have made his former self instantly fall. Even as he grew older, Xin Chen almost lost his consciousness.
The woman backed off. It seemed that he did not really want to kill Xin Chen.
"Rather than I finish you off first ... It would be better to see you tormented by the figure you truly care about. Didn't you?"
Then the woman disappeared. Came just to make Xin Chen's mind even more chaotic.
Currently Xin Fai still had not seen their whereabouts as a result of the impact from the previous attack being so great. The gray from the ground slowly descended back to the earth. Xin Chen and Xin Zhan were now hiding in the middle of the forest with some ancient buildings of the former relics.
