The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 155 - Storm on the Aimezu River

The storm that came in the Aimezu River slightly reminded Xin Chen of a curse that struck the village in the Shang Empire. That place became cursed due to the power of an Earth Ruler Demon. Estuaries from the darkness of the clouds had gathered above the building where the auction was held. He got out of there a few minutes ago.

Xin Chen never expected, he would be met with one item he had been looking for all this time.

It was no more than the size of a hand grip, resembling a slightly silver-gray colored stone that cracked and chafed everywhere. At first glance it only looks like a stealth gem that has been discarded because it has no price.

But for a fox, it's very, very important. It is important beyond his own life. The rest of the power inside had been sealed, so not a single power had come out. Makes it look worthless. Xin Chen grasped the thing, barely believing he would find it in an unexpected place.

But it turns out his conjecture was right all along. The jewel of the Thunder Fox had moved from one hand to the other. Unfortunately, wherever the Thunder Fox Gem goes, it also brings disaster and the storm of curses. Xin Chen channeled a bit of lightning power, making it glow for even a few seconds.

"Calm down, you're safe. I'll take you back to your owner."

Xin Chen stared at the old stealth gem, there were still traces of the Thunder Fox blood there. The former battle was seven years ago, where the millions of years worth of power within the jewel of the Thunder Fox had been worn out in a single day. Xin Chen involuntarily smiled, very happy.

It seemed like he really missed his Master's fussiness. Lightning Fox. It was inconceivable how Huo Rong and Shui would feel if he knew now that he had gotten the Thunder Fox Gem back and for the second time. This was glad tidings to the point that his eyes felt warm.

Xin Chen actually had about five hundred million gold pieces to obtain the remaining gem of his pawn yesterday, only that he was testing the host. Let alone jewelry, used to be vegetables in the market that cost only a few pieces of silver still had time to offer until free. The bargaining talent was ingrained in him and could no longer be separated.

It was unexpected that the man was quick to defeat him and Xin Chen even bagged the jewel for a cheap price. If they knew who the owner of the gem was, it might be that the price installed far exceeded hundreds of billions.

Xin Chen directly stored it into the space ring. The safest place no one else can touch. He had to quickly finish his affairs in this Empire, including finding an antidote for his mother. In order to quickly return to the Shang Empire to meet the Lightning Fox.

And Xin Chen had barely forgotten Qin Yujin. His blood again rose to the crown as he remembered the man had survived the explosion at Laboratory B-1.

"May I let someone like him live. If I see him I'd love to strangle him."

On the other side of the road, someone was watching Xin Chen from a distance. The sword sheathed on her waist looked so striking. Despite being covered by an outer robe, he still knew the young man was carrying a sword with him. Xin Chen realized the movements in the back and chose to let it go, if that person attacked he would definitely take up arms.

But it didn't happen until he arrived at a crossroads that connected directly with the largest laboratory in Central Central. Xin Chen couldn't see if there was an infection inside like before. But what he could confirm, the smell of blood was clearly smelled from the second floor of the building.

The smell of blood was a sign of danger because shortly after, a window broke and scattered dozens of infected type B. The experimental creature made it out of its confinement and killed the researcher inside the lab.

Hundreds of people on the road immediately ran away, fear spread so quickly followed by shouting. Chaotic state in just a split second, Xin Chen raised his sword. Slashing the neck of one of them who was about to bite, of some type he already knew one of the carriers of poison. So after killing him, Xin Chen immediately took cover. Chasing the other infected who escaped and killing him mercilessly.

The incident was witnessed directly by the surrounding community, young men in Central Union uniforms fighting alone against infected and other creatures. Blood was spilling on the streets along with poison. No one dared to come near until all the infected were dead.

One of the men clapped, not believing himself to be saved. He was one of those who had been almost bitten if Xin Chen had not immediately finished off the infected. His clothes and hair were neat and messed up, but his face really showed admiration.

"It turns out there are still parts of the Central Union that are working earnestly to protect this city ... I guess they only take blind pay."

"That guy seems to be just a subordinate, it'll be good after this he's promoted."

"But doesn't his face look foreign? It was like the first time I saw a face like that. And his eyes ... Blue, weird."

Whispers rang out all around, Xin Chen realized a group of people with clothes similar to him were starting to snuggle.

"Dead me." Xin Chen cussed, his intention was he just clear the way so as not to fall victim. He might be caught by that person. Xin Chen decided to walk into the crowd, then disappeared among them without leaving a trace.

"What's your motive for coming to this place?"

"What do you mean?"

"Tell me honestly. I know from your moves, you're not a part of us."

At a time where the sun was drowning in silence, among the dark alleys where insects and rats were feasting on trash, someone intercepted Xin Chen's footsteps. The man with the head covering, a sword at the waist and a rough stature - more like a traveler standing before him. It gave off a fairly large battle aura.

Xin Chen obviously had to be wary of that person, he definitely knew how to swing the huge sword at his waist. And from the body of the man, it seems that he is no longer fully human.

The blood flow in his body had mixed with the blood of beasts. Xin Chen could feel the demon and human air colliding against each other in the man's body. In another sense, the opponent in front of him was one of the surviving trial humans.

"Whatever I do. It's none of your business."

"That's right you came here for a purpose?"

Xin Chen did not answer. Choosing to take another path to ignore the man, it was unexpected that the sword behind him had been raised. A fight might not be inevitable, but the man was still trying to contain himself.

"You've come to people's territory. At least show us a little respect."

"What are you expecting?" touching the sword with one hand. The man began to look alert.

"A cooperation as a fellow traveler."

Xin Chen would not have expected that night's meeting with a fighter from the Wei Empire would have gotten him more deeply involved with the big problems in the Wei Empire.

**

A hideout in the backyard of the residents' house is now filled with dozens of men in blue shirts and a charcoal black inverted fan emblem on the back. They were followers of the Shi clan. Or rather siding with the last descendant of that clan. Shi Long Xu's. The rest were plain-clothed, but they carried swords with them. It shows that the man is a swordsman.

Shi Long Xu, was known for his authority and hard-sighted manner. He brought about many real changes within the society of the Wei Empire.

But, ninety percent of Central Central people hated it.

Shi Long Xu fought on the front lines for the people outside the center. He wanted equality, no more experimental humans and animals were annihilated. No people are protected because they have money. Or a poor man left to survive in a sea of decaying corpses.

But his steps were repeatedly blocked. Not by his father alone, even the higher-ups and ordinary people in Central repeatedly sent out assassins to take his head.

And in the past five months, his father had stated directly that Shi Long Xu was now a fugitive. For a very complicated reason explained.

The man was about 26 years old, still young enough for his critical way of thinking. He lost a lot of his trust for a long time. Therefore, by sending his right hand, Ying Xue, the man gathered dozens of men who would fight him to fight against the Emperor, namely his own father.

The flames on the tip of the spear circling around Shi Long Xu's hideaway were turned on one by one. Now it was clear the tense faces sitting around each other. They sat on a rock, with Shi Long Xu sitting one of the stones in front of them. All eyes are on him, seriously. There was hardly any sound except waiting for the man to speak.

Xin Chen had just entered, welcome to sit down by Ying Xue. Staring fixedly at Shi Long Xu's face, his facial line was firm. He was quite handsome, probably like his brother Xin Zhan. His way of sitting, talking and standing showed that he was educated directly by a true fighter.

Shi Long Xu's eyes glared at Xin Chen, though sharp but he showed his friendliness.

"May I know who you've just joined?"

"Chen. Just call it that."

"Brother Chen, have you come here willing of your own accord? Is my colleague Ying Xue forcing you?"

Xin Chen recalled, it seemed like Ying Xue was forcing him but in the end she herself also wanted to know what deal this person had to offer.

"I came willingly and did not mind joining at all."

"Thank God. Everything is clear. You came here of your own conscience, I purposely gathered thirty of you for a reason ..."

Shi Long Xu stood up from there. Tapping the fan in his hand while thinking for a long time.

"I'm not gonna make any more small talk."

He stared one by one at the place.

"It's time we heard their voices ... Can you hear the cry of their baby, born in the sea of misery? Outbreaks, famines, endless fears, screams and death are all the more craze. They are alive but very close to death. Where would their leader who had sworn an oath to the Empire guarantee their lives?"

That sliced face seemed fed up with bringing up the figure he was talking about.

"Brother, whose name is Chen. Please stand. I want to hear from you, what do you think about people outside the center."
