The sound of his third footprints became the only sound in the silent white building. Bodies were scattered everywhere, they rotted without being buried. Most of them were killed right in the head.
Long enough to walk and only end up in a dead end, they finally find one way out that is locked with heavy iron. Lang managed to break into it with three attacks that caused a noise. Xin Chen was a little agitated, afraid that the sound would provoke the creature in another part of the building. He could still hear it even a little far away.
But do not rule out the possibility that the creature will come due to the sound.
When the three of them had come out, Xin Chen still had time to lock the door. Lang looked. Between wanting to laugh or pity seeing the depressed face of the young man.
"Oh, it seems like you're really scared of the undead?"
Xin Chen put on a cobbled face.
"I've heard from your father that you're afraid of ghosts. Hey, those undead are the same as ghosts, they used to be human too. It's just that these undead are ten times more terrifying because they're real and can twitch or even bite you right?"
"Thank you for explaining it completely," Xin Chen grumbled as he turned his face to the other side.
In that instant they could catch their breath, the road ahead was already visible. Yet yet to fully inhale, Xin Chen was fixated on one other point that was more tragic than the scene he had seen before.
In front of them were lined with the corpses of hundreds of humans covered with white cloths, they were left lying on the ground fenced in high iron. Xin Chen could see the fence was paired with something like his electric power. Anyone who is hit by the object will certainly be stung to fainting, it could even be paralyzed.
It seemed that of them only Xin Chen was most worried that the hundreds of corpses would wake up again.
"There was no time to look around, quick," his orders immediately took the advancing vanguard, looking for a way so that they could pass through the iron fence.
The flames of Eternity that burned the iron fence slowly obliterated the fence. Xin Chen had intended to get out of there, unaware that along the way had been flooded by the undead. His feet retreated reflexively. The corpse wave was not playing much, if he forced forward his body would end up just like a deer that was now lying on the road, gnawed up to his intestines.
"No way ..." Luo Li only realized something, "this iron fence was created as protection from the corpses. We can't break through, they're so many."
"Bad decision, Chen." Lang's back off. The scream from the front shook his guts. Rather than facing warriors or pirates that he could take down in a single strike, fighting these humans was much more difficult. Should be killed right in the head or not they're still alive and biting. One fall will be the months of thousands of them.
Xin Chen saw Lang's tail feather standing up.
Just as he thought. This strange creature is terrible.
Xin Chen's Fire of Immortality was created in front of them, forming a high fence that flared burning one by one of them. Xin Chen raised his hand, creating a lightning arrow and aiming at three at once in one shot.
He smiled bitterly. An ordinary human would only need one to five seconds to die by his lightning. The undead took up to a minute to completely stop.
"Whoever made this plague must be planning the destruction of the world."
They managed to get out through the side road, the undead from the front ran after the three.
Along the way, again they had to chase. Although it was currently daytime and the movement of the creatures was not as aggressive at night but their large number made Xin Chen repeatedly curse. The road is always covered by them.
"You're doing a useless thing, you idiot! They'll keep growing even if you kill them until you're old!" The wolf walked away, almost hitting a tree. "You think you're using brains, unless your brains aren't working like them."
"By being chased was still a time to insult."
The fire arrow in his hand had vanished, Xin Chen took out a real sword. Cut off the head along the way. The speed with which his hands exterminated the corpses made Luo Li hold her breath. In disbelief, hearing the sound of blood splashing from the neck that constantly repeated.
The road they walked was now filled with blood. Xin Chen detonated a smoke bomb, destroying the nine undead inside the smoke bomb with slashes and kicks. Lang was inexhaustibly cursing, he had already warned Xin Chen not to get too fixated on them.
But it seems that the killer instinct of the child is bigger than his logic. Their movements slow down.
Lang shouted from a distance. "Quick you're a demon! Don't prolong!" Lang rose apitam, fangs sprung up. Her and Luo Li's circumstances were so desperate. Right front left behind all surrounded by the undead.
"Go first!"
"Your head! Don't argue, move-quickly"
Those golden eyes widened when they saw the creature they were afraid of actually coming out. Lang had been kissing his whereabouts ever since he was in a building full of dead bodies. The creature made it out the door. The appearance is very, very terrible, with a body full of muscles and veins, eye holes that have been covered by skin and serrated teeth.
"Xin Chen!!"
The three times the size of an adult human lunged at Xin Chen, the young man was already aware of his movements. He thrust a sword into the creature's forehead.
He didn't fall.
Panic overwhelmed Xin Chen's face, the splashes of blood from the creature's head began to drip. Suddenly his hand moved, hitting Xin Chen until it bounced against the wall of the building far enough away. Sounding cracks. Trouble came out of the circle of the undead.
"You can't kill him in the head, forget about killing him! We have to run first or they'll get crazier!"
Xin Chen was a bit hesitant, he was eager to finish off his enemy. But on the other hand he knew nothing about what he was facing. Plus, he couldn't feel their air. That's an important part of the fight. The living corpse that had actually died had no air. If one of them moved behind him without a sound, it was certain that Xin Chen would be cheered.
His father's face while warning him to remain cautious flashed.
Xin Chen relented to this one. He stood up, deciding to retreat with Lang and Luo Li. Before that he burned dozens of those undead. Decapitate the rest and move down a path that will somehow take them to where.
Someone on the second floor of an empty house just took off his binoculars. Smilingly.
"He's strong. In a single street alone it has killed three hundred and twenty-one infected. It's not an ordinary person."
The black man behind him responded, "Do you think we should save them?"
"Not to worry. They're gonna meet our friend on the front line."
