The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 149 - Hand Stretch

Xin Chen lost control in the research room, glass and spilled bottles were scattered. Poison and harmful fumes began to spread in all directions.

Amidst the chaos that filled his brain, Xin Chen attempted to come to a realization. He desperately controlled his body to comply with his wishes. The time he had was no more than three minutes. Xin Chen dropped the vaccine that Wen gave her. Grabbing it then stick one of the injections into his hand.

His breath sounded trembling. Painfulness. But it didn't last long until he was a little in control despite not recovering fully. Xin Chen ran over, his strength was still the same as before even he could break the infected collarbone with his hands. Keep remembering where the box is.

The clattering of feet stopped in one control room, located innermost in the basement. There, Xin Chen saw a box protected inside a shatterproof glass. The thing opened slowly, Xin Chen chased after him as fast as he could. But suddenly a familiar person came, stopping him who was only a few steps away from the box.

The figure with an artificial hand made of iron appeared from the dimension of void space, instantly the box in front of him disappeared. Xin Chen forced his mouth to speak, half shouting, "You again-?!"

That man, Qin Yujin. It turns out he's still alive as everyone else says. This time either plan let alone the one he made, whatever it was would definitely endanger everyone. Xin Chen ran over, about to grab her collar but the man disappeared and appeared in a corner of the room a bit far away.

"You here? It's a shock ..." Her smile looked so subtle, like she was making fun of him.

"What do you mean really surprising? Give me back the box!"

"This box is not yours ... It's dangerous stuff, kid, kids are forbidden to touch, yeah." Qin Yujin was about to disappear, Xin Chen held him back by blowing up the vacuum dimension. Such a huge force pressure thwarted the technique.

"Stop that stupid plan of yours, damn it. I need that box to save everyone in this Empire. If you don't give it back"

"Aahaha!!" Qin Yujin laughed out loud, even wiping the wet end of her eyes.

"Save, you say?"

The man shook his head, still trying to stop the laughter considering the time left was soon. This place would explode, but it would be an advantage for him if Xin Chen were to be killed inside.

"Your ears have sometimes been infiltrated by the sweet words of your superiors, but let me reveal one truth so that you understand the situation." This time Qin Yujin had no intention of lying, she stared intently at Xin Chen without the slightest hesitation. "The medicine in this box is not an antidote or a vaccine or anything like that you might imagine. And the key to the lab inside, is not a drug development site like you'd expect."

In reality, Xin Chen was still in disbelief. He was sure Qin Yujin was still trying to twist the facts.

"The "fill in this box is the strongest type of virus capable of creating a super-infected type of human. More aggressive, more aggressive. Shall I show you one?"

Qin Yujin threw one of the syringes into the infected, the creature fell silent and pounded its doom. There was a roar of a few seconds until the sound of bones sounded so loud. His body underwent a drastic change.

"seen? I'm not lying, am I?"

'The Commander of the Central Military Faction lied ...?' his mind, seemed betrayed by people who began to trust him. He came all the way risking his life just to fight for destruction. And now there was only fifty-eight seconds left.

Qin Yujin put on a spooky look.

In the next moment of silence there was only Xin Chen alone left with the infected, he would not be able to fight against the creature in such a fast time. Xin Chen ran as fast as he could, chasing the door where he first entered. Repeatedly the abnormal behavior was about to come out, Xin Chen injected two vaccines at once. Maintaining your own sanity in the midst of a chaotic situation.

Fifteen seconds left. There was not a single beam of light in the hallway, the door was locked and probably would not be opened again. While behind him now Xin Chen was being chased by Infected Type SSS. Being infected is still a mystery to him. But just by looking at it alone, Xin Chen felt far more afraid than seeing hundreds of thousands infected in the Death Labyrinth.

He's banging on the door of the lab. There was no reply while behind him now the creature screamed carrying hundreds of other infected. He'll be stuck there in a matter of seconds. And at the same time a bomb will blow up the place.

Disappointment and despair returned. The commander of the Central Military Faction had lied and himself failed to get the box. Plus now the situation is lurking behind him.

Xin Chen felt it was wrong to risk his life, for a ruin he did not want. Now that the box was in Qin Yujin's hands, it was possible that the man would develop the same virus and spread it to the Shang Empire. Xin Chen stopped banging on the door, his hand falling resignedly beside his hand.

The hands behind his back had prepared to tear the young man apart. But another hand first dragged Xin Chen's body out.

The dark-skinned man pulled him as far away as possible, taking refuge behind a high wall near Laboratory B-1. Large flames flashed on their left and upper right. It was so red that it lit up and burned the air.

Wen tried to hold on to it all. Xin Chen was still quite surprised. He was saved at the last minute.

"You ..."

"I'm sure you're alive! That's why I came back and I was right, man!"

Shouted Wen excitedly. The wide smile on his face made Xin Chen slightly smile. The explosion occurred in a row for ten minutes until the place was completely sterile from harmful organisms. It was only there that Wen took him to a further place with the shoulder part of his shirt slightly burned and the man's breathing was very, very tight.

Eleven men in Central Military Faction uniforms came, they did not expect Wen to violate the code of conduct and ignore the orders of superiors. It was likely that he would get a punishment, regardless of whether it was severe or not. But they didn't lose a single person on the mission.

"I didn't get it. Someone took it when I arrived."

"I thought we were a step behind."

"What does this all mean?" Xin Chen began to question with pent-up anger.

"You're telling me to bet my life down there just for an item that could wipe out a human?"

An uneasy face adorned the leader of the group, he sighed and cast a glance for a moment. Finding the right answer to calm Xin Chen down temporarily.

"The commander will tell you. Most importantly you survived. We're going back to headquarters. Move in!"
