The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 167 - A Double-Sided Pause

The glass door in front of him began to show signs of cracking, Lang retreated in alarm. They had nowhere to escape but face the undead ahead.

Xin Chen was sidetracked when he saw another light other than his blue flame, Lang started to use his original strength. Creating a circle of light in front of his mouth.

The vibration of the force also accelerated the cracking of the glass barrier in front of them. Xin Chen refocused himself, what he could do was simply blow up the hundreds of infected that were so densely packed in front.

But Xin Chen was a little hesitant, under such urgent circumstances he could not see between the Infected and the Donkey Deer. Lang had stopped gathering his strength, starting to direct that vortex of light towards the infected.

At a glance, Xin Chen could clearly see those shattered faces. A strong wind blew, a huge force pierced through the glass door to shatter into pieces. The attack scattered the bodies. A few infected who still survive advance, storming Lang from various sides.

The wolf begins a terrible fight among the sea of infected. He turned fierce, unforgiving to his enemies.

Xin Chen himself tried to protect Lang while blowing up the infected.

So many infected have been far beyond the limits, Laboratory A-3 is much worse than Laboratory B-1. But at least Xin Chen wasn't so scared, because he was with Lang. The wolf fought to protect him in the vanguard. Serving the undead with its sharp claws.

A growl rang out from Lang, he began to be pinched like a corpse infested by flies. Prison flames suddenly blazed from the floor to the top of the ceiling of the room, Lang trapped inside. Forced not to move. He felt an electric pressure so high encircling himself.

The protector that Xin Chen had created managed to make the infected fall into a limp. They started burning in their entirety.

When Lang was safe, Xin Chen let go of the prison of fire and immediately shouted, "We get out of here, come with me!"

Lang growled, kicking tables and shelves to ward off the infected who were chasing behind them.

A few hundred meters away walking in a long hallway filled with infected people, Xin Chen found one rather quiet room. He went inside, until Lang entered Xin Chen covered him back up.

Lang finished off the five infected inside the room at once.

"Damn," Lang grumbled while holding tight. "I can't breathe."

"At least we're safe here."

Xin Chen looked at his hand, feeling a bad feeling like he was scouting. Since a few hours ago, he had started thinking about not using his strength excessively. Actually, he could have blown up the vestibule so that later when they were going out there was not so much trouble.

But his body condition can change abnormally. Xin Chen would not let that happen.

"We'll wait until they calm down."

"I can guarantee you won't wait more than five minutes." Lang circled around the room, finding a lot of strange things in this research room. The strange pictures and tools as well as the colorful liquid that made him ask. Of all these things, disease arises.

Or it is precisely from the decay of man himself, deliberately creating destruction.

He had only released his attention from Xin Chen no more than a minute ago and the young man had already reopened the door. Just as the infected walking in front ran after him, Xin Chen slammed the door until several hands got stuck.

"Let's die," annoyed Lang grumbling.

"Dead need not be sought, Lang. If you want to stay out of here, see you." Xin Chen sneered at him, making the wolf's eyes squint sharply.

"Speak again I plant you."

"You think I'm a cassava?"

"Oh yeah I forgot, you're infected. Just like the dead bodies out there."

If he hadn't held it back, perhaps Xin Chen would have shed tears. Lang could have bluntly said such a painful thing even though he knew Xin Chen was sensitive when discussing it.

"Stop babbling is not clear, we have to move quickly." After saying Lang approached one door, Xin Chen followed behind while putting on a lookout. Lang should be able to hear that up ahead there are so many infected.

Lang waited for the foot to move away. Until the opportunity came, Xin Chen advanced in front of opening the door. He's sure there shouldn't have been any infections at close range, but what he doesn't suspect is that one of the infected managed to find them. He shouted from upstairs, making a fuss that provoked another herd.

Bad things seemed like they would continue to lurk them, Lang had never imagined the adventure in the Wei Empire would be this chaotic.

The sound of colliding goods becomes a sign that the chase is back in the beginning. From the laboratory hallway one by one the infected came out, chasing those who were now running forward without knowing what was waiting ahead.

Lang was about to turn left, infected with a distended stomach and green eyes were waiting, he opened his mouth filled with poison. And within the next second, a burst of poison spilled over the floor and walls.

There's nowhere to escape. Xin Chen could only encourage Lang to hide behind the wall. But what he did not expect, the floor where they fell was fragile. The two fell from a height to another place, at the bottom of the ground again. A nightmare for him.

Lang woke up from a fall, his bones hurt a little but it was lucky the poison didn't hit him. Xin Chen paused for a moment, a knee-length flood puddle made him drenched. Water drops fell from his ugly-looking face.

You could say now that they have entered the heart of hell. Thousands of infected were circling around and began to realize their existence slowly.

The venue was as wide as the match arena, there were so few benches on the higher floors while the middle was circular. Hundreds of confinements lined the square. The infected there dressed all in white, they were most likely the dead researchers.

And the confinement around them, it was the estuary of the undead that had been created so horribly. Man or beast is matched and tested to create a superior kind of man.

But what makes it bad is that the superior monstrous creatures are uncontrollable and attack the humans themselves.

The place was probably once a place for massive research where experimental materials were observed in the middle of the place while the humans sat on the benches.

But now things have turned around. The infected were watching Xin Chen from the bleachers.

Lang docked to Xin Chen. "We have to go back upstairs or this tsunami of bodies will drown us."
