The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 148 - Stuck Forever

Shocked, he swam backwards. But the infection is no longer moving, it is dead. Xin Chen could only make up his mind, perhaps because he was too panicked a little shocks could shock him.

The water had mixed with blood, medicine and mud, making his sight limited. The bodies that had rotted in the water floated, moving as Xin Chen passed by. He dived deeper, headed for the iron lock and pulled it up.

It was very difficult to shift, but once the door opened the puddle of water in the room immediately flooded a morgue next to it.

Xin Chen was reminded of the contents of the map, supposedly after this morgue.

Beside them were shelves of corpses lined up, many of which had rotted and were covered only in blood-stained cloths. The safe was dragged away by the water, making a long enough creaking sound.

Not having time to find a safe place, Xin Chen was immediately accosted by the infected. Both of his eyeballs had disappeared, his body was like bone coated in skin with the rest of the hair strands alone on the head. He was wearing a light blue suit.

Even in his hands was a white glove. His steps began to chase Xin Chen, shouting incessantly carrying another infected. The puddles themselves had spread far away, leaving the remains of corpses in the room that might be able to stand at any time.

Xin Chen picked up a chain on a chair, tied it to the infected neck and cut it off until his head rolled to the floor. He could no longer move silently. Time keeps going.

Without a second thought, his steps immediately moved outside the room. Find a point where it's not too much infected.

Something big was chasing after him from a distance, Xin Chen could do nothing but keep running even though his steps were overtaken. He climbed up the stairs, jumped over the culverts and ended up in a spacious room with dozens of doors. His steps stopped at the door that was only tied with chains. Dozens of hands came out from the open door. Inside there, nearly sixty infected were trapped. They were human beings who used to be held for experiments but when the plague spread they were never released and eventually became undead.

Chilly. His neck began to feel the cold. He turned back. Seeing a five-meter tall man. His head is five, three women two men. Like the head of a corpse that is just taped to a body, grimacing in fear. His hands resembled the hands of an animal with a long tongue. They have poisonous mucus. Inside the mucus there are parasites that can kill.

"Type S Infection."

The tongue was sticking out very sharply, Xin Chen immediately dodged, he could not carelessly fend off or splash the mucus on his skin. In addition, the tongue had just hit the iron chain, making the door easier to break down until dozens of infected were out.

Xin Chen did not survive immediately, he was chased. The move of the creature is fairly fast, that's what makes it included as the most dangerous type. He moves aggressively and his brain is much more manipulative. Seen from his movements that accidentally opened the door containing infected. Hundreds of them rushed outside, fell down and began to chase where Xin Chen was running.

The first ten minutes were so neatly destroyed just because one was infected. Xin Chen could only grieve in the heart. Burning them with the Fire of Eternity is not so effective.

Xin Chen was cornered among hundreds of infected. He was in the middle of the room, standing on a statue in that place that was about to collapse. Infected Type S is able to reach the place easily. His claws managed to hit Xin Chen, opening a considerable tear wound.

The mucus from the infected mouth comes back out. The statue has collapsed. And the sea of infected began to swarm over Xin Chen who had fallen to the floor.

Blacker.

Everything is dark, there is no light. But the pain she was suffering from was so real. Xin Chen knew his body was being gnawed by the infected. His eyes are not open at all. The pounding in his heart began to weaken.

He had to wonder about it. Usually all this time death was reluctant to pick him up. But somehow here he felt so close to death. Or indeed the angel of the lifethrower dwells in this place.

The fire of Eternity around the room began to weaken, a sign that the owner of the power would be uprooted in a moment. There is no hope there. It is impossible to expect a man to come to save him.

"I ... Failed it?"

He could even feel those hands trying to let go of his head, legs and hands. The pain is so real.

"It looks so."

His eyelids are not moving at all. Hand petrified. Infected Type S had left leaving the rest who were busy shrouding Xin Chen.

They didn't really gnaw at him because the smell on the young man's body was different. Or even like themselves. The infected stopped in turn. But it still remained near Xin Chen who was severely injured. Interested in the faint smell of life and stopped because of the same smell as them.

Fifteen minutes. Xin Chen's little finger moved. His eyes were open. Without a cue he stood up, starting to strangle one by one infected until his neck was crushed and dislodged from its place. He clenched his hands, smashing so hard into those bodies. A power was created in his hand, the Fire of Eternity that resembled a trice human gasing. Move in all directions cutting off infected heads.

The splashes of blood continued to stain the walls and floor. Xin Chen lost consciousness. His body moved following the orders of his brain.

He chased after the S-Type Infected who had clawed at him, slamming his arm into the infected leg until it broke. That power was many times more sinister than the Type A Infected he encountered in the forest.

Xin Chen was unconscious, he continued to brush away the infected along the way. Which even brought him back backwards.

Twenty-five minutes. Things are getting worse. Xin Chen accidentally opened the cage of the savage demons who had mutated. Fighting against them created such a huge uproar. Even Wen and the others could hear it from the outside, wondering about what happened. The commander of the Central Military Faction had already advised and stressed carefully, Xin Chen should have sneaked in.

If this were the case, even the strongest humans would not be able to survive the B-1 Laboratory.

Twenty-eight minutes.

Wen put on a desperate face. When looking back, the others were also still hoping for Xin Chen to return. The uproar was still heard, they assumed Xin Chen had turned into infected.

"I feel guilty seeing him in this position. The young man ... I really want to ask, what size of thing does he want to be willing to sacrifice to get into this horrible laboratory?" whispered Wen in disbelief.

"Whatever it is, it must mean a lot to you, huh? I'm sure you're the one who's willing to sacrifice so much for the people you care about. I'm gonna tell my family about you, man. If I manage to find them. Be rested. Soon you can calm down in peace."

Wen threw a distant glance back, instructions had been given hence they were ordered to retreat from the Laboratory. Explosive devices have been installed all over the outer corners of Laboratory B-1. Time keeps counting down. One minute and fifty-eight seconds more it's gonna blow up the whole B-1 lab. They ran as far away as possible, even so far that the range of the explosion would not hit them.
