The Demon Swordsman 3

The Demon Swordsman 3
Ch. 152 - Host of Dai Cho

Lang had just finished burning the cow, although the cooking method was a bit horrible. Her broom was tied up and cooked alive with a fire she could get out of nowhere. Xin Chen did not wake up. His face was just like a sick man. But the wolf did not know what to do but to make food.

He took out a piece of thigh, placed it next to Xin Chen.

"awake. Eat."

Lang waited. Time passed, but the young man did not wake up. He saw a white-robed figure from a distance, strung around his neck like large seeds and a head with almost no hair. The man looked friendly, he swung one hand from a distance.

"G ... Can I come by for a minute to drink some water?" he said pointing to a well of water that still works in the yard, Lang assented. While returning to look at Xin Chen who was just lying under a tree. The meat he had laid a few hours ago had already begun to be swarming with ants.

The man who had just drank earlier paused for a moment when he saw Xin Chen.

"May I check it?"

"Please." Lang took a few steps back, letting him check on Xin Chen's body temperature and state.

"He's been bitten?" The man slightly undid his collar, watching the incision marks near his shoulder.

"That's how."

"How long has it been?"

"Maybe ... Two weeks or so."

"Can't be allowed to. He will turn worse, if left unchecked he will lose his memory and end up like the infected. Come with me, we've got some medicine and some good manpower to deal with people like him."

Lang would not want to say yes. In this situation, he doesn't know where to ask for help. The mission trip would not be able to continue if Xin Chen was sick. Sometimes he walked too far without caring about the wounds on his own body. Lang was a little relieved, the man who brought them was named Dai Cho. He was also one of the medicine experts who settled under the foothills of Shimei. Luckily the man brought an herbal ointment that was directly applied to Xin Chen's skin.

Along the way Dai Cho explained at length, that in their place more than half the population was affected by the same disease. There are some drugs that are sold even though they are not very effective. Night arrived so fast, Lang was stunned to see a village full of flickering lights. Like the countryside in general, so many people. This kind of sight is impossible to find here.

He brought Xin Chen to Dai Cho's house, where his two teenage daughters had been waiting.

"Dad!" His two daughters immediately hugged the man's legs. Lang looked inside.

"Where's your wife?"

"Ahaha, wife. I don't have any. These two kids are my adopted kids. Come in, these little ones are used to creatures like you so don't hesitate anymore. Take your friend to the room."

Lang continued to be by his side when the herbal medicines were administered to his body. Especially to the bite marks that are still open.

"There's one way to remove the virus in his body."

"Say."

Lang looked into those slightly bleached eyes, looking hesitant as he spoke.

"But ... I'm afraid this will be bad because I've never practiced it directly to a patient. The risk is very high."

"The current "drugs and vaccines are only able to temporarily delay or kill the virus. No one has really overcome it. But if this works ... I'm sure people can be treated."

Lang looked at Xin Chen, wildly.

"If his father were here ..." He couldn't think of the best decision he could make. Lang himself could not bear to let Xin Chen continue to roar in pain.

"We'll just try. If at any time the risk increases, we stop."

"What do you want if this treatment works?"

"I don't want anything. Believe this. Not everything in this world needs to be pursued. Sometimes helping others is much more fun."

**

A beam of light came in. Light up the plank floor of Dai Cho's house and her two adopted daughters. The man was hanging clothes in the backyard while talking to Lang.

Slow footsteps down the house, in the house there is a pond with so many koi fish. His eyes were still so blurry, he forced himself to follow the source of the conversation.

Dai Cho turned body. Just like Lang and the two adopted daughters of the man.

"Oh my goodness ..." Dai Cho was shocked. Immediately woke up tidying up the young man's already messy robe.

"Regular, bachelor. The sun is already overhead this way just remember waking up. Where the clothes almost went off. Shameless as the host."

Xin Chen cleared his throat repeatedly, trying to speak. "Where are we?"

"Sit down first, drink your tea."

Dai Cho handed him a bowl of warm tea, finished drying him sitting on the terrace. Sighing heavily.

"This man saved you. Your illness has gotten worse and you almost turned infected. Thank him."

Xin Chen digested Lang's speech in silence. "Cured?"

"The good news is, the virus in your body has been removed. It's been five days since you came to this place. Should have improved his stitches"

"Five days?!" Xin Chen woke up from his seat.

"Jeez." Dai Cho again confirmed the white robe that Xin Chen was wearing. Hope not to get out of there.

"We're missing, Lang. Why don't you wake me up." Xin Chen started to panic, he faced Dai Cho.

"I'm really grateful for your help, but right now we're being chased by something. I hope you understand ... "

Xin Chen could only see a sincere smile on the old man's face.

"Go away, sometime you want to come over here. My door is always open for you."

Xin Chen said goodbye quickly. At least he knows the name of the man, Dai Cho. His own body felt slightly changed, Xin Chen did not know how Lang could meet the man. All he thought about now was chasing after Qin Yujin and burning the box with her.

Lang chased after Xin Chen who was galloping, passing through the streets for miles without speaking. But at least, from what he heard from Dai Cho, Xin Chen still had a chance to recover. The treatment can only be said to be successful if the abnormal behavior has disappeared. For that reason Dai Cho had him always keep an eye on Xin Chen wherever and whenever.

Two days passed so quickly, his second step only stopped when in front of there stood hundreds of tall buildings. In the center, one of the Emperor's residences. It was most likely where Qin Yujin was.

Outside of this fence alone, Xin Chen still found some infected. He looked ahead, very, very tight guard inside there. It's hard to get in. If only he could, but Lang would have to come in anyway.

"Lang, I'll open the way. Get in neat."

"What do you mean?"

"Just do it."
