Chapters 113. Secret Room
The Old Chief stopped to turn the jar after the stone floor had opened perfectly.
"Follow me!" exclaim Old Chief.
Fang Yin and the Sect Chief walked up to the path formed from the open floor.
There was a staircase descending into a dark underground room.
From the hands of the Old Chief came out an energy fireball as a light. He threw some fireballs and let them hover in the room.
They continued walking until the Old Chief stopped and faced a wall. On the wall it was attached to an ancient lock. The Old Chief again turned the lock until the stone wall next to it opened.
A rumbling sound was accompanied by tremors and also dust came out from the open stone door.
They retreated for a moment to avoid the dust billowing from the door. After a while, they walked into a dark room.
The Old Chief tossed out the balls of light to illuminate the room. Suddenly the stone door behind them closed itself.
"Dad! The door closed itself. How do we get out of here if no one opens it from the outside?" The Sect Leader looked panicked.
The Old Chief did not answer the Sect Chief's question and continued walking to the center of the room.
"Well! This all looks so amazing." Fang Yin walked around the stone table displaying some medicinal furnace fruits.
"Choose one to make that pill, Yin'er!" The Old Chief freed Fang Yin to choose a medicinal furnace that he liked.
Fang Yin looked carefully one by one at the furnace. It looks the same. But it seems like one furnace in the very middle has better quality.
"I chose this one, Dad!" fang Yin exclaimed at the furnace.
"Good taste" said the Old Chairman.
'I know father is not an alchemist and has no idea how to purify pills. What then? Is it possible that little girl would do it? I think this is impossible.' The Sect Chief still could not guess what would happen next.
"Where can I start to use it, Dad?" ask Fang Yin.
"There!" The Old Chief pointed to a place next to the furnace table.
Fang Yin brought the furnace without touching it to keep the furnace pure. He coated his hands with Qi and brought the hovering furnace to the table the Old Chief was referring to.
Until this second the Sect Chief had not believed that Fang Yin could do it.
The Old Chief stood in front of Fang Yin and observed what his adopted daughter was doing.
The Sect Leader stood beside the Old Chief and followed what his father had done.
Fang Yin began to take out all the pill ingredients he was going to make on the table.
After preparing the composition that was inside the recipe scroll, Fang Yin put it into the furnace that he had previously heated.
The furnace let out a bright light as all the ingredients of the pill entered into it.
Fang Yin continued to concentrate on providing a stable energy and tried to control the furnace which continued to twitch as the pill refining process took place.
"That, that, that ...." The Sect Leader was so difficult to get his words out.
"Calm down! Let Yin'er handle it yourself." The Old Chief asked the Sect Chief to calm down and trust Fang Yin's abilities.
