Cultivation Goddess

Cultivation Goddess
Chapter 71. A present

Jian Heng tried to move his body to find out if it was better or not. The body that was originally made to breathe alone is now no longer felt.

'It looks like I'll have to try something more challenging to prove that my body is completely healed or not.' Jian Heng smiled as he found his crazy idea.

He rotated his body with his hands down and feet up. His whole body is now supported by both hands. Slowly Jian Heng walked with his hand it headed to his room.

'I'm completely healed.' Jian Heng smiled as he continued walking upside down towards his room.

Unexpected things happen. Hanfu Jian Heng was stuck on a hook that stuck on the wall.

Jian Heng was unable to move and started to lose balance. His body collapsed and fell on the door of his room. The noise from the broken door was heard all the way to Fang Yin's room.

Fang Yin who had just finished taking a bath instantly picked up his veil and walked out of the room.

There was fear of danger again being threatening considering the events experienced by Jian Heng had just ended.

His eyes widened when he found Jian Heng who was in a miserable condition. His body was lying between the door and the hallway between their rooms.

"Chairman Yu! You're all right!" Fang Yin wanted to help Jian Heng but Jian Heng hurriedly got up on his own.

Embarrassed. One proper word for Jian Heng this time.

"I'm fine. I just slipped because I was sleepy and .. yes .. that's it. .. I fell." Jian Heng grimaced while enduring the embarrassment.

Without realizing it, Fang Yin's appearance was extremely messy. Her hair was unraveled without any ties or embellishments. Fang Yin also only used underwear that was not too thick.

Realizing that, Fang Yin immediately said goodbye to Jian Heng to rest while running around in his room.

'Interesting!' jian Heng muttered inwardly.

"What do I think, anyway!" Jian Heng patted his eel then went to his room to rest.

Jian Heng went to report the results of the mission he had done to the Sect Chief. There he received a rousing reception from the Sect Chief and the other elders for successfully completing the mission.

The secret mission he was on concerned cultivators who were quite difficult to deal with. They were undermining power in the Middle Continent Empire by helping the rebels to disturb the comfort of the people. Jian Heng was willing to accept this mission because the Middle Continent Empire was the power of his father, Emperor Xi.

Although no one knew if he was instrumental in securing his country, Jian Heng did not take issue with it.

Jian Heng had already gone through many days outside the palace and felt the beauty of a freedom that made him feel lazy to return to the palace.

In this sect was the safest place for him. The soldiers and spies sent by his father would not be able to penetrate this place. The Sect Leader had casted a misty spell around the sect.

In the presence of all the elders, the Sect Chief wanted to give a reward to Jian Heng in addition to the wages that had been set in the mission this time.

Everyone was astonished when they heard that Jian Heng rejected the reward given by the Sect Leader because he felt he did not deserve it.

The mission had almost failed had Fang Yin not come to save him. Jian Heng did not tell him about who saved him. However it only mentioned traits that did not lead to Fang Yin.

If Jian Heng were to say about the traits of who his savior was, Fang Yin's life could be threatened.

The elders believed in what Jian Heng said and considered it to be good luck for him. How not, when in trouble, someone unknown comes to help.

Although the elders tried to persuade him to teach willingly accept the reward from the Sect Chief. Jian Heng refused.

'The gift belonged to Xiao Yin. No matter what the stuff is, I don't want to take it.

The sect master opened the gift in front of everyone present there including Jian Heng.
