Cultivation Goddess

Cultivation Goddess
Chapter 49. The Dragon Goddess Symbol

Fang Yin woke up that morning with a body that felt fresher. He slept well last night after a long day of fatigue.

An innkeeper prepared bath water for Fang Yin and asked Fang Yin to follow him.

The bath was apparently public. There are some female guests who bathe in a pool and some are bathing in the bathtub provided. Next to the women's bath is a bath for men that is only limited by a short fence only.

Fang Yin bathed without removing his veil and chose to bathe in the bath instead of joining the others.

While in the middle of his bath, Fang Yin felt astonished by the people staring at him. He thought they saw him so because of his face covered in a veil.

The longer the more people looked at him strangely. Fang Yin hurried his bath in order to quickly leave from there.

"Auntie, can you help me?" fang Yin asked an innkeeper.

The middle-aged woman walked up to Fang Yin with a trembling body and head that kept bowing as if not daring to stare toward Fang Yin.

'They're why, anyway? Why does everyone look so weird? I have to find out about this, Fang Yin murmured inwardly.

"Please help me tidy up my clothes!" Fang Yin asked the maid to follow him into the space provided to change clothes.

Again the servant walked with fear and an increasingly trembling body.

"Do I look scary?" fang Yin asked as they were inside the space alone.

"Agod! Don't hurt me Goddess!" the maid ventured to speak to Fang Yin.

"Goddess? Oi! You don't have to be afraid of me, I'm a human like you." Fang Yin tried to calm the servant down.

The servant still looked frightened and did not dare to do anything even though Fang Yin already felt cold with her wet underwear.

"May I ask you?" fang Yin asked looking seriously at the woman.

He simply nodded in response to Fang Yin's question.

"What makes you and people look at me with such a strange look? I really don't understand and don't know anything about this." Fang Yin began to dry his body alone as the servant did not help him.

Fang Yin stopped his activities and looked at the waiter in astonishment.

"A sign? Why don't I see it? Where's the sign?" asked Fang Yin curiously.

Seeing that the servant was still frightened Fang Yin felt confused by what the Dragon Goddess meant.

"Don't think too much! I do look weird with my face covered like this, but believe me, I don't like eating people. My food is the same as the one you ate," Fang Yin said half-jokingly.

Fang Yin had already finished his needs without the help of that servant. He gave her a few pieces of silver coins.

"No need, Goddess!" The servant refused Fang Yin's handover.

"Thank you! Call me Xiao Yin! I'm human like you, too, Auntie." Fang Yin left the place without knowing much about the symbol that the servant was referring to.

'Stupid by that symbol! They were overreacting to a myth!' Fang Yin sauntered from the place without caring for their strange gazes.

Outside the bathhouse someone had been waiting for him with a radiant face.

"You took a shower for a long time. Fucking woman!" yelled Jian Heng.

Fang Yin did not respond to Jian Heng's rant as he was not wanting to argue.

"It's not usually that you stay quiet like this. What are you thinking? Looks like I'll have to rethink taking you to study the Book of the Nine Dragons if you keep ignoring me like this." Jian Heng lured Fang Yin by saying what he wanted so badly.

Sure enough, Fang Yin instantly stopped his steps and looked towards Jian Heng.

"I felt very upset at the people inside the women's bath. They thought that I was a Dragon Goddess just because I saw a mark on my body," Fang Yin explained in frustration.

Jian Heng was aghast at Fang Yin's words.
