Cultivation Goddess
Chapter 199

The Nine Star Sect,

Xi Jian Heng was preoccupied with his duties as a Young Sect Leader. It had been several months that Sect Leader Feng had left the Nine Star Sect and Old Chief did not want to interfere in the affairs within the sect.

On the front page came the sound of the commotion of the cheering students. Jian Heng was curious about what was happening outside and left his room to see what was really happening.

His footsteps were so light that they passed through the passageways that connected some of the rooms in the Nine Star Sect. It was still early that day, it was not yet time for the sect disciples to go rest.

The sect disciples seemed to swarm around someone who had just arrived. Jian Heng could not see it clearly yet as it was obstructed by the disciples standing around him.

"Ehem!" Jian Heng cleared his throat with a fairly loud voice.

"Special Chief Yu is coming!" shouting one of them made the teacher and the student who were there look back.

They retreat regularly and open up the crowd so as to make the person they are in contact with visible.

"Good day Elder Yu!" Sect Leader Feng saluted Jian Heng.

Jiang Heng replied to Sectional Leader Feng's respect.

"Welcome back Sect Chief. Let's go in. You must be so tired." Jian Heng invited the Sect Chief to enter the main villa.

One of the disciples went to the Old Chief's room to inform him of the arrival of the Sect Chief. They looked very happy with Sect Leader Feng's return. So was Jian Heng.

For months Jian Heng felt he had no freedom by continuing to stay within the sect. His adventurer soul tormented him because there was not much he could do within the sect.

After the Sect Chief returned, he could be free to go out and go to look for Fang Yin. With the marks he had planted on Fang Yin's body, Jian Heng could sense Fang Yin's existence within a certain distance.

But for now Jian Heng was on a mission for himself. Some time ago he heard that a cultivator from the Northern Continent had managed to find an energy pool that no one had been able to conquer.

Jian Heng felt very curious and wanted to go there. Around the pond was definitely an awful lot of treasures he could find. Successfully or not, it was a later affair, the figure of Jian Heng was an unyielding man.

Today, Jian Heng had not been able to disturb Sectional Leader Feng because he looked extremely tired. Later that night he had to express his wish.

All the documents compiled by Jian Heng during his time as sect leader he gathered on his desk. Reports about the ability of every student he neatly arranged. As a prince who underwent a strict education from an early age, made him accustomed to doing this job.

The work space of the sect leader who was once very messy was now very neatly arranged. Jian Heng had a good taste in arranging space and filling furniture suitable to be placed there.

The previous owner of the room would definitely be surprised by the thorough changes made by Jian Heng. But he will be happy with this change.

All the important reports and documents that the Sect Chief had to proceed with were put in a separate place and given a special mark. Jian Heng smiled looking at his work that day then returned to his villa.

'I can't wait to get out of here anymore. My body feels stiff after a long time of not traveling.' Jian Heng dropped his body in front of a table.

When he was alone, Jian Heng always remembered Fang Yin. The longing made him feel a pain that never found a cure.

Often Jian Heng slept in the room that was once occupied by Fang Yin. He still felt the fragrance of Fang Yin's body there even though it was just his hallucination alone

Jian Heng deliberately did not change anything that was there and let the items Fang Yin left behind remain in place. Whenever he felt homesick, Jian Heng would spend his time in that room.

'I don't care even if you're not from the nobility. I will still take you home to the palace one day, Xiao Yin.' Jian Heng sat down daydreaming and was unaware of the arrival of the few servants who were delivering lunch for him.

Jian Heng only regained his senses after the servant called out to him a few times.

Behind the servant appeared sect leader Feng and Jian Heng asked the servant to bring food for Sect Leader Feng as well. That afternoon, they sat together to enjoy lunch in Jian Heng's villa.

"Chairman Yu, I'm so impressed with your work. You deserve to be a Sect Leader. I hope that after this you will still be willing to take the position of Sect Leader even though I have returned," Sect Leader Feng said as he received the cup of tea given by Jian Heng.

"The Sect Chief is over-complaining me. As the Sect Chief knows, my soul is a free soul. It's been too long I've lived here without seeing the outside world."

Sect Leader Feng was very knowledgeable by the nature of Jian Heng. Although Jian Heng had lived and taught there for a long time. However there was no rule or agreement binding him in the Nine Star Sect.

"I'm sorry, Elder Yu. I didn't mean to force you. All decisions are in your hands and no one has the right to mix them." Feng smiled at Jian Heng.

"Thank you for the understanding, Sect Elder. Sorry I changed the workspace as long as I used it." Jian Heng felt bad for Sect Leader Feng.

"Why apologize, I'm so happy that the room has become so neat and well-organized. You must have worked hard for it. You look very learned." Sect Leader Feng again praised Jian Heng.

They threw each other compliments during a chat together while enjoying lunch. Sect Leader Feng looked more open after returning from an adventure. His attitude, which was very cold and rarely spoke, is now more friendly.

On that occasion, Jian Heng all asked Sect Chief Feng for permission to go out early tomorrow. After feeling the freedom of the outside world, Sect Leader Feng was actually very lazy to take on the task of being a Sect Leader. However, he did not want to disappoint his father who had painstakingly established the Nine Star Sect with Gu Ming Hao, Fang Yin's father.

There was nothing Sect Leader Feng could do to hinder Jian Heng's departure.

Morning at the Nine Star Sect,

The sun still looked timid as Jian Heng went bidding farewell to the Sect Chief and the others. They looked puzzled by Jian Heng's sudden departure. Some of them thought that Jian Heng was on a mission, whereas the Sect Chief himself did not know where Jian Heng was headed.

'Huh! Finally I can see the beauty of the world after being silent for so long.' Jian Heng walked with long footsteps down the Golden Lake Mountain.

The cool morning air adds to his enthusiasm to enjoy his trip this time. Not many residents living at the foot of the mountain passed by him. Maybe because it was too early.

Jian Heng stopped at a water pipe that drained the mountain springs. He filled all his drinking places. According to him, the water quality in these mountains is still the best compared to all the springs he has ever encountered.

It took a full day to reach the Northern Continent by air. Jian Heng did not want to go by land which would certainly take a longer time. He would rather lose a bit of his strength than have to linger on the journey.

Jian Heng's cultivation level had now reached the early star celestial realm. Actually he could use teleportation to get to where he wanted to reach, but he did not want his presence to shock the person who happened to be where he landed.

Before the sun was too hot, Jian Heng immediately flew towards the Northern Continent. He did not know that Fang Yin was also there. Within a great distance, Jian Heng could not sense his existence without a soul controlling spell.

The untouched energy pool that Jian Heng was about to visit was on a mountain. Red Wolf Mountain, a mountain that was famous as a lair of extremely violent bandits.

After flying for most of the day and passing through various places, Jian Heng finally arrived at a village that had been in the region of the Northern Continent.

The sun had not fully sunk and still had a fairly bright light that afternoon. The beauty of twilight in the Northern Continent presented a different impression to Jian Heng. Along the village road lined traders various foods and various other products.

Hundreds of houses lined up neatly in the village. The life of people in the Northern Continent is known to be very advanced, except for those who live in the interior.

Jian Heng walked over to a food merchant who looked extremely delicious. Not far from where he stood, he had already seen another reality that was the bad side of the Northern Continent Empire.

A man was dragging a young woman who had been injured all over his body. The man tied the woman's hand and pulled her roughly towards a place.

There were some poles there and the man tied the woman there. No one wanted to help the woman.

"This is the order, sir." The merchant's voice shocked Jian Heng.

Without saying much, Jian Heng immediately paid the amount of money demanded by the merchant without taking his eyes off the woman tied to the pole. He refused when the merchant wanted to return the excess money he paid.
