Chapter 35. Book Owner
Before his meditation ended, Fang Yin absorbed a bit of energy from the owner of the Book of Nine Dragons to find it after he returned to his consciousness.
Then Fang Yin absorbed the Qi from the Rainbow Bias Lake to refine the Holy Dragon Qi he had obtained. Fang Yin's body felt lighter than before. Until his cultivation ended, he remained seated quietly on the small rock he was sitting on.
Fang Yin's body had already reached its maximum limit in absorbing the natural Qi which was extremely abundant in that place. All over his body still felt an enormous Snow Cloud Qi radiating from within his body and making the surrounding temperature turn cold.
Fang Yin began to open his eyes and return to his conscious. Beside him was seen Jian Heng still focusing on his meditation. Apparently Jian Heng needed a longer time to cultivate.
'Why is he not finished? What happened to him?' Fang Yin leaped closer to Jian Heng who was still in his subconscious.
From Jian Heng's body came out the same energy that he absorbed in his cultivation. It was unexpected that Jian Heng had mastered one of the Nine Dragons Books he had been searching for. To Fang Yin this looked astonishing considering Jian Heng did not look like a great cultivator.
'Who is this guy really? Couldn't the Book of the Nine Dragons not be owned and studied by just anyone? Surely he has a background that cannot be taken lightly.' Fang Yin continued muttering while looking at Jian Heng.
Jian Heng's body gave off a yellowish-colored energy aura, apparently in his subconscious he was absorbing the golden dragon energy that gave him Holy Dragon Qi.
It was not without reason because Jian Heng needed the Golden Dragon crystal to refine the moves he learned from the Book of Nine Dragons.
It had been several times looking for the dragon spirit beast, but Jian Heng had never obtained it. In contrast to Fang Yin who had obtained two dragon crystals at once. Jian Heng had to kill one of the golden dragons in the Rainbow Bias Lake and take the crystal.
The upheaval in the illusionary world in Jian Heng's subconscious had now ended after the golden dragon crystal was successfully obtained, he opened his eyes and returned to the real world.
Fang Yin flinched and fell backwards when Jian Heng suddenly opened his eyes and saw him being within a very close distance of him.
He thought it looked very funny when he found Fang Yin's blushing face holding back the embarrassment and pretending nothing had happened.
"Why are you so surprised, Xiao Yin? Do I look scary?" jian Heng asked with a amused smile.
"Ah, no! I'm just making sure you're in shape. Em, I'll .. em, I mean what should we do after this?" Fang Yin looked nervous and spoke wavering. He could not compose his words properly as his chest was pounding.
It was still clearly reflected in Jian Heng's memories of how Fang Yin's face was in his illusion. She had a beautiful face and wanted to marry him soon. Honey, in reality Fang Yin did not like it as much as when inside the illusionary world.
Fang Yin looked awkward when he saw Jian Heng looking at him without blinking. Hurriedly he turned his face away when their two eyes met each other.
Slowly the rainbow mist that enveloped the Rainbow Bias Lake began to fade. Gradually things began to return to normal just like before Jian Heng and Fang Yin were cultivating there. Fang Yin still looked awkward and Jian Heng still daydreamed not giving an answer to Fang Yin's question.
"Can we go back to the village now?" ask Fang Yin again.
Jian Heng regained his senses from his daydream after hearing Fang Yin's question. He scratched his head to cover up his embarrassment from being caught daydreaming.
