Chapter 404. Threats

Fang Yin and Jian Heng chose a landing spot right at the peak of the Red Mountains. These mountains have a high altitude. However, at its peak it is seen surrounded by clouds.

Fang Yin jumped onto a large rock then sat on it. From where he is at the moment he can look to the places around him because he is taller. The wildness of the forest made their visibility limited. They cannot see into the depths.

Although not perfectly flat but the surface of the stone could be a temporary resting place before finding a more decent place for them to live in. Jian Heng leaned his head against Fang Yin's lap and attempted to close his eyes. Almost all night they did not rest.

'Hm ... You think I'm not sleepy either?' Fang Yin took out a cloth and moved Jian Heng's head over it.

That special baby will awaken the Red Continent Devil who wants to rule over the human world and the upper world.

By sacrificing that baby then he would become the strongest being in the three realms. Previously the Red Demon Continent had stolen half of the sky gem energy core. The special power of the baby will perfect it and make it very strong.

Although very faint, the life air released by Fang Yin and Jian Heng's bodies was sniffed out as well by the spirit beasts living in the depths of the forest in the Red Mountain valley. The Red Mountain spirit beast wriggled and then woke up from his hermitage. He wrapped his body and stood up straight.

Its shape is similar to a bull but has a dense black shiny fur. Its horns are long with pointed ends and facing forward. His eyes were blood red with very wide eyelids.

Besides being similar to a bull, a spirit beast was also similar to a lion with sharp fangs and fingernails. In one go he will paralyze his prey and make it difficult to escape from its entanglement. Not only that, the spiritual power of this spirit beast was also very powerful because it had the support of the Red Continent Devil.

"Who dares to come to the Jaliura region? He's really looking to die."

The Red Mountain spirit beast called itself Jaliura.

At first he thought that the human who came would emerge from the foot of the mountain but what he thought was wrong. No man comes from the countryside. Jaliura's intelligence was not comparable to his strength so he could not guess the existence of the air of life that was sniffed by him.

To find Fang Yin and Jian Heng he needed to swirl to and fro along every inch of the Red Mountains. By noon he had reached half the territory. I don't know how much longer he'll find the existence of the owner of the life he's looking for.

"Damn! Hiding where is the man I'm after? I'll find him soon and I'll make lunch. How can I be so careless that I can't find the slightest trace of energy."

Jaliura felt frustrated when he did not immediately find his quarry. His tail moved to the right and to the left causing a fire that burned whatever he touched. The fragrant aroma gushed into the air because the average tree in the Red Mountains had a distinctive aroma.

In a short time, the scent of the burning plant spread throughout the directions. This scent also came toward Fang Yin and Jian Heng who were still sound asleep. Both squirm and wake up because it turns out that the day is also almost afternoon.

"You what is this? It's like a bohur scent. Very fragrant. Did you kiss her too?" jian Heng asked when the two of them had already completely woken up.

A strange feeling began to envelop Fang Yin's body. She did not feel that she was using her power but by herself her aura as the Dragon Goddess came out. A yellowish light began to envelop his body with a different form than before.

This naturally also surprised Jian Heng considering that they were currently hiding to lurk. If it continued, the forces approaching them would soon find out about the whereabouts of both.

"Yang Hui! Did you do it? Right now I don't need this change yet" Fang Yin said in a slightly irritated voice.

"No, Your Majesty. I dare not start anything before getting an order from you."

Yang Hui's reply made Fang Yin stunned. If it was not him who did it then how could the power of the Dragon Goddess come out by itself. His heart kept wondering with answers he could not find.

"Yin'er, what's really going on?" jian Heng asked who was also curious about her change.

Fang Yin was only able to shake his head because he himself did not understand.

Amidst the confusion they heard a long moaning sound from a place not far from where they were. The loud noise made their roman fur goosebumps. The blood-red walking smoke fog slowly crept up and spread out in all directions.

This bewildering atmosphere continued to develop until their surroundings became extremely dark.

"What is this fog? We're like submerged in a pool of blood." Jian Heng took out a protective armor in anticipation of the bad possibility that might befall him.

"There's no point in us hiding here anymore. It could clearly sense the aura of energy we were emitting." Fang Yin began to prepare and then jumped into the open to wait for the alien beings who had yet to arrive there.

All around Jaliura had been given a spell by the Red Continent Demon that would work if he were to face off against the Dragon Goddess. This spell he got from the ancient divination book that predicted the birth of the descendants of the Dragon Goddess. Upon hearing his appearance, the Red Continent Demon immediately imprinted this seal around Jaliura's body.

Fang Yin and Jian Heng looked at each other. They felt confused by the spirit beasts that looked pretentious to them. As they remembered, the three of them had never met the spirit beast that was now standing before them.

"waiting us? We never know each other and trust me if your deception won't work." Jian Heng was not fooled by Jaliura's sweet words.

"Haha! Smart kid, don't complicate my life! Destiny has written a story about your arrival. Whether you like it or not, you both have to deal with me. You guys better not be acting much and we're working well together." Jaliura advanced before Jian Heng until the two of them were within a short distance.

"cooperate? We don't need cooperation. This place is not yours and anyone can stop here. Every destiny we write does not have to obey because everything is not necessarily true. Vortexes of cold wind appeared above his head and continued to grow enlarged. The longer the range became wider and covered the entire peak of the Red Mountains. The snow that came down was supposed to be milky white but the presence of the blood-red mist from Jaliura made it blood-red. However, along with that, the blood-red fog was eroding and gradually disappearing slowly.

Jaliura who disliked the cold looked shivering. He did not know until when he could hold out to fight against this power. Every time he tried to let out a flame then the fireball formed instantly froze.

"What power are you giving out? How can it snow in the dry season. Or maybe you're playing an illusion of an eye to trick me and make me give up." Jaliura felt very angry.

With a breath that was seen hunting down, Jaliura thought of taking out his entire ability and defeating Fang Yin as soon as possible. The ever expanding cold will make it unable to last long. As a being from the underworld he preferred hot situations.

'The magma hole I used to add energy was deep at the foot of the mountain. Before my powers run out I have to defeat these two bedbugs. I will not have any face before the Red Continent Devil if I fail this mission.' Jaliura did not want his long enough wait to go to waste.

In his agreement Jaliura would get a share of the territory in the lower realms and become a little king there. He would rule under the auspices of the Red Demon Continent. This lure is what makes him tempted and last for thousands of years waiting for the presence of the Dragon Goddess in the Red Mountains.

Jaliura's body twisted and an aura came out that was greater than his body. The snow around it melted and drained the red water. A blood-red mist appeared enveloping him and continued to grow even though the snow still continued to fall.

"It's good if you can still get up. I wouldn't feel guilty if I made you not see the sun again after today." Fang Yin unleashed a power greater than before.

"Prepare to accept your death, Arrogant Woman!" Jaliura smiled triumphantly as he saw Jian Heng also standing behind him.

Shiang Shiang was surprised to hear Fang Yin's words but it didn't last long. He soon gets to control himself and is able to cope with the situation. It seemed like he knew very well how to deal with the Dragon Goddess and lure her into his trap.

"So, do you believe the stupid beast's words? You shouldn't have listened to it. Come nearer! I'll tell you what's really going on." Shiang Shiang spoke softly but was extremely dangerous.

Fang Yin seemed to be silently thinking.
