Cultivation Goddess

Cultivation Goddess
Chapter 51. Go Together

Jian Heng looked at Fang Yin with an elusive feeling. In his heart he greatly admired the girl in front of him. At a young age he was able to live independently and do something big.

There was a hope in his heart that wanted Fang Yin to be his wife later on.

The mark he planted on his forehead would make it easier for him to recognize Fang Yin even though he had transformed and undergone many physical changes along with the development of his cultivation.

'May this strange man teach me the Book of the Nine Dragons in his hands. I have said honest things to her and hopefully it makes her heart knock to help me, Fang Yin murmured in her heart.

"Xiao Yin, I want to tell you one more secret. I hope you won't be mad at me after hearing that." Jian Heng spoke in a regretful tone.

The picture of guilt on his face though did not know the guilt for what it was.

"Tell me. We've just known each other and we've definitely got a lot of secrets that are unknown to each other regardless of whether we want to say it or not."

Fang Yin returned Jian Heng's gaze with a gaze that was equally difficult to decipher.

Jian Heng seemed to be exhaling a rough breath before he said the thing that had been plaguing his mind ever since.

"Xiao Yin, I mastered one of the Nine Dragons Scripture that you seek."

Fang Yin smiled widely behind his veil.

"Do you mind if I borrow that book from you?" asked Fang Yin carefully.

"The book was in my father's hands, it was very difficult to take it out and out of his hands. But ... If you want I can teach you the contents because I have mastered the whole." Jian Heng looked timidly saying so.

Imagining her days that she would go through with Fang Yin made her feelings uncertain.

"I'm willing as long as you don't mind. I don't like living in this village. These villagers are afraid of me being here."

"I'll take you to the Nine Star Sect and teach that Book of Nine Dragons there."

"Is there a female disciple or occupant in the sect?" ask Fang Yin.

Previously he had to be disappointed while in the Seven Star Academy which turned out that all of his students were a man and there was not a single woman there.

"There was. There were even female disciples there as well," Jian Heng explained.

"Thank God! I don't want the events I've been through to repeat. I didn't ask my foster father much who turned out to have me enter an academy where all of his students were men."

Jian Heng laughed hearing Fang Yin's words. He imagined how difficult it would be for a fierce girl to live in the middle of a male student who might just like his students. It was not uncommon for male disciples in his sect to make his female disciples cry out for their ugliness.

"Laughs at me!" exclaimed Fang Yin with his grim face.

"Sorry .. sorry. I didn't mean to laugh at you. I just remembered how my students were doing that were so fond of judging female disciples." There were still remnants of smiles on Jian Heng's face.

"Let's see if they dare to prank me. I'll make them regret it for a lifetime if it happens."

"Haha! Don't be so cruel, sweet lady! Let's pack up then go to the Nine Star Sect!" jian Heng did not want to waste his time.

The journey towards the Nine Star Sect would be a little tiring. The location of the sect that was in the rocky mountains made the terrain heading there a little difficult.

As he left the inn, Fang Yin glanced at the quiet-looking Xiao family home. Neither Xiao Chen nor his parents were seen outside.

'Maybe you've returned home or gone on another mission.' Fang Yin looked back at the streets following Jian Heng's footsteps.

If their journey was smooth, they could arrive at the sect before sundown. For normal humans who did not possess spiritual power like them, it might take two to three days to get there.
