Chapter 56. Arriving at the Sect
Fang Yin finally decided not to join in taking the water snake spirit core crystal. Several different kinds of Qi had been within his dantian. It felt that it would be even more difficult for him to control so much Qi while this alone he had not been able to use it optimally.
"It seems, that spirit core crystal would be more suitable for you. I will absorb the outer energy alone to replace the energy I have lost" Fang Yin said confidently.
"Are you sure?" jian Heng asked ascertaining the decision taken by Fang Yin.
Fang Yin nodded solemnly.
After feeling confident in Fang Yin's decision, Jian Heng immediately reached out his hand to retrieve the spirit core crystal.
A bright blue aura enveloped the spirit crystal and emitted an extremely powerful energy pressure.
Jian Heng did not want to absorb his energy now that their journey towards the Nine Star Sect had been delayed for quite a while.
"We must get out of here before any other danger comes upon us!" yelled Jian Heng.
"All right! Let's get out of here!" Fang Yin agreed and immediately prepared.
They jumped on top of the tree and moved from branch to branch quickly.
Both of them lost so much energy that it was impossible to fight again for a while until they rested for a while and recovered their strength.
The sun is moving towards the night horizon. The birds lined up neatly flew towards his residence. Looking at the twilight that was already about to descend, it felt unlikely that they would reach the sect before nightfall.
No matter how fast they jump, time will not be kind enough to wait for them.
"Is that Golden Lake Mountain still far away?" asked Fang Yin who did not know where the mountain was located.
"Look at my hand! That is the mountain you are referring to," pointed Jian Heng.
Fang Yin followed the direction indicated by Jian Heng and felt shocked because the place was already very close to where they were standing at the moment.
"Waow! What a beautiful sight so stunning. Let's go on a trip!" Fang Yin looked so excited.
Although his lips were covered by his veil, Jian Heng was very sure that Fang Yin was currently smiling.
They continue on a journey that will soon reach the finish line. Their bodies moved quickly under the orange rays of the afternoon sun. The world was already overwhelmed by dimness when they reached a village at the foot of the Golden Lake Mountain.
"Someday I want to go across this village in the light of day." Fang Yin felt disappointed as he could not see the natural beauty along the journey he had been through.
"I'll take you for a walk if we have time" Jian Heng promised.
"really? I'm so glad to hear that." Fang Yin spoke in an extremely excited tone.
"You can remind me if I forget it."
Jian Heng's words made his heart feel extremely elated. Fang Yin hoped that he would get a lot of teaching during his stay in the Nine Star Sect.
Jian Heng slowed down his steps when they were already within close proximity of the villa of the Nine Star Sect.
"You just say that you're my distant relative when someone asks you later. Besides you don't need to explain anything and you can still be yourself as you normally would," Jian Heng explained expressing his wish to Fang Yin.
"I'll do as you ask."
"Good boy!" jian Heng exclaimed with a smile even though his smile was nowhere to be seen in the dark.
Lanterns scattered around the entrance gate of the Nine Star Sect made the place look bright.
The twilight had just passed so there were still some disciples of the sect wandering outside the gate. One of the disciples exclaimed when he saw Jian Heng coming. His shout invited the other disciples to come there.
"Chairman Yu is coming! Elder Yu is coming!" So they screeched as they ran to meet the arrival of Jian Heng and Fang Yin.
Several female disciples and female residents there crowded around the handsome teacher. Jian Heng was the youngest and most handsome teacher there. However, he has a teaching ability that cannot be underestimated by other sect elders.
Fang Yin looked extremely awkward being in the middle of the crowd of female disciples surrounding him with Jian Heng.
No one questioned Fang Yin because Jian Heng had answered him first before Fang Yin opened his mouth.
"We'll continue chatting later. Now let us go clean up and rest for a while." Jian Heng asked subtly.
