Cultivation Goddess

Cultivation Goddess
Chapter 53. Fierce Fight

"Retreat, Xiao Yin!" jian Heng screeched as a figure that was in the water moved swiftly towards them.

Fang Yin jumped backwards to get away from the stream and let out a Qi preparing to fight back.

Jian Heng took out an energy sword from his Golden Light Qi. The perfect sword signified the cultivation level of Jian Heng who had reached the holy realm.

The creature that was in the water was getting closer to them with a form that began to be seen.

A giant water snake with half a body that looks like a monstrous-faced human.

It has no hair, has a pair of hands that have sharp and long nails, and fangs that make its mouth can not close perfectly.

The water snake spouts half its body over the surface of the water and the other half is in the water.

It was said that this human-headed snake was capable of killing a cultivator who was in the holy realm.

It could be estimated that this spirit beast was at the top star spirit cultivation level.

Jian Heng looked nervous recalling the story of the human-headed snake that flourished in society. In contrast to Fang Yin who remained confident and ignored his opponent's strength. To him a victory was not determined by how high one's cultivation realm was but rather how capable he was of controlling his strength and using it appropriately.

The water snake fizzed and stuck out its long tongue. His rosy eyeballs stared intently at Jian Heng and Fang Yin in turn. His body shriveled as he moved forward approaching them.

Fang Yin grew increasingly wary and took out a white-colored energy sword with the Snow Cloud Qi as its base.

"Use Qi with a base of fire to deal with it, Xiao Yin!" jian Heng screeched as the snake continued to shuffle forward toward them.

After being in a slightly roomy place, they stopped to start a fight.

Fang Yin followed Jian Heng's direction to extract the Red Dragon Qi from within his dantian. A flaming sword appeared in his right hand.

"This spirit beast is extremely ruthless, Xiao Yin. He only appeared a few times in a century. He always managed to kill his opponent and make him a meal."

Fang Yin's eyes widened upon hearing the horrifying story.

One of the snake's hands let out a bright white fireball and prepared to attack Xiao Yin and Jian Heng.

The snake threw an energy ball towards Fang Yin and Jian Heng alternately from both hands.

Fang Yin jumped up and floated in the air to dodge, as did Jian Heng. They kept moving to avoid the attack of the water snake.

The missed attack made the spot hit by the energy ball freeze.

'This pot had a Qi similar to the Qi of the Snow Cloud. It seemed like he was indeed an opponent that was not easy to deal with.' Fang Yin tried to analyze the snake's strength.

Jian Heng advanced to fight the snake using his energy sword.

For a while Fang Yin did not help him. He chose to study the monster snake's weakness which grew fiercer as Jian Heng started attacking him.

Jian Heng's body moved floating and leaped in the air. Attack after attack he gave the water snake. However the snake was able to dodge it and overwhelmed Jian Heng in the face of his attack.

'The switch looks like it has no weaknesses. It is only fitting that he has lived for thousands of years.' Fang Yin felt a terrifying aura from the look of the water snake's eyes.

Slassh!

Jian Heng's sword nudged the head of the snake that was similar to the tentacles of an octopus. The snake made a very loud sound.

Jian Heng was unaware of what the shrill sound and the changing aura of the snake's increasingly terrifying face was.

'What's that? It seemed that the snake did not like it if the part sticking out of its head was touched. Is that his weakness?' Xiao Yin guessed something he saw from the fight in front of him.
