Fang Yin advanced forward approaching Da Xia and Huang Ran who looked pitiful on his lap. The ice pack on his body grew even more and almost drowned his entire body.
He then opened his palm and took out a pill. The pill was then handed over to Da Xia to give to Huang Ran. After that he re-opened his right palm with a face down position and drained the Qi of treatment into Huang Ran's body.
In the distance, Jian Heng moved quickly toward Fang Yin to see what was happening. He felt that something was strange as Fang Yin suddenly treated his dying enemy. However, he did not dare to ask while his lover was concentrating.
Slowly the ice clot that enveloped Huang Ran's body began to melt along with the medicinal Qi that flowed into his body. It didn't take long, it was back to normal as before.
Fang Yin then asked her to stand up and tried to walk. After she felt fine, she did not give him any more treatment.
"I'm doing fine. Thanks though. I'm sorry if I've done you no favors before." Huang Ran thanked and apologized to Fang Yin.
Da Xia followed Huang Ran to his feet.
"Thank you, Old Friend. I know you're the one who cares. With all humility, Da Xia thanked me."
"Hm." Fang Yin replied to the two with a nod. "Now tell me about what your goal is to attack Consort Ning?"
Fang Yin still remained the former Fang Yin who did not like to mince words. The patience is very little and does not like to wait. Highlight his sharp eyes continued to stare at Huang Ran as if asking him to immediately do what he wanted.
"Good, Miss. I've long had a grudge against Consort Ning long before Emperor Ning's rebellion occurred." Huang Ran took a pause to look at the change in Fang Yin's facial expression.
Far beyond her expectations, Fang Yin looked so calm in responding to her story. His attitude did not imply surprise or anything like that so it made Huang Ran not want to delay his story any longer.
"I was a teenager then. My father was a member of the imperial council who worked for Emperor Gu. Until the end of his life my father remained loyal to him. Concubine Ning had several times incited my father and asked him to side with her, she slandered Consort Shi and her son out of envy. I suspect that the massacre against Emperor Gu was also his scheming. So, what I did today was to take revenge for the death of my parents," Huang Ran explained.
"Who are your parents?" ask Fang Yin then.
"Jing Hao Ran's legal council," Huang Ran replied.
Fang Yin looked at him investigating and tried to dig into his memories in the past. Although not often, Fang Yin had several times attended court sessions where the entire imperial council and palace dignitaries gathered there. Huang Ran's face did indeed bear a resemblance to Jing Hao Ran's.
Before the trial for him and his mother was conducted, Jing Hao Ran was indeed rumored to have died with his family due to a robbery. Fang Yin did not expect that the robbery was a fabrication. About what kind of truth he did not know because at that time he did not know anything.
"Initially I also thought that the mastermind behind all this was Consort Ning. I am also like you who so hate and want to kill him. But apparently I was wrong because Consort Ning was just a tool. It was true that he hated Consort Shi and his daughter, but he did not have the courage to slaughter a clan," Fang Yin explained.
"You're not a victim and you don't understand how I feel when I lose my family. My life was ruined and became a mess as a result of the Ning Clan. They do everything they can to fulfill their wishes. I wonder how can Consort Shi be so patient in dealing with it and forgiving Consort Ning's crimes." Huang Ran still looked emotional.
"Know what you know about me. Open your eyes wide and see who I am!" Fang Yin opened the cover of his face in front of Huang Ran and Da Xia.
Jian Heng did not try to prevent it. It's time everyone knew who he was. The raid to the Empire of the Eastern Continent would be immediately scheduled, he was sure that these two people before him would be his supporters after knowing who this woman before him was.
Fang Yin pulled the rope of his face cover and opened it slowly. Huang Ran should have known her even though before the rebellion happened she was still a teenage girl. However, in terms of resemblance and facial structure certainly does not experience much change.
Da Xia and Huang Ran looked at each other. It was first for Da Xia to see Fang Yin's face. The two had different reactions because when Emperor Gu was in power Huang Ran often met him and saw his face.
"Princess Gu Fang Yin!" pekik Huang Ran's.
After looking at him for a while and reassuring himself, the new Huang Ran was completely certain that the woman before him was Gu Fang Yin. He dropped himself and knelt at Fang Yin's feet to pay his respects.
"Huang Ran saluted and apologized for the irreverence that I made, Princess." Huang Ran's two hands fused in salute.
"I accept your sincerity, wake up!" said Fang Yin.
Da Xia did so and Fang Yin asked him to get up. He did not expect that the little girl he found in the middle of the forest was an outcast princess. More precisely escape from the pursuit of rebels who want to finish him.
The situation is back under control. There was no longer any aura of hostility between the two.
Fang Yin introduced Jian Heng to the two of them then told him his plan. All the things about Concubine Ning as well she told me so that Huang Ran would no longer harass her. Although he was previously very cunning, but at this moment he had changed and become a different person.
Huang Ran believed in everything Fang Yin said. He no longer held a grudge against Concubine Ning, especially after finding out if there was Emperor Gu's soul force fused in his body.
It was not time for him to open his face forever. Fang Yin closed it again before returning to his family.
The four of them walked out of the place towards the residential area. It had been a very long time since Da Xia had returned to the Silver Mountain after the death of his parents. Being here would only evoke memories in his past that made him sad.
The cottage that Da Xia family owned had been occupied by someone else, but he was sure that he would still be accepted by the family who occupied it to stay some time there. However, before going there Fang Yin brought Huang Ran and Da Xia to visit his house.
'Brother Da Xia definitely did not know if Han Wu's grandfather was here. I did not intentionally say so let him be surprised by his legendary teacher.' Fang Yin refrained from talking about Shi Han Wu. Lonely smile at the corner of his lips that were covered by a cloth.
They slowed down the pace when they had entered the residential area. On the porch of the Fang Yin family home, Shi Jun Hui was chatting with Shi Han Wu. The two had only realized the presence of two strangers together with Fang Yin and Jian Heng.
Shi Han Wu got up from his seat and noticed two strangers coming over. His head seemed to be moving while trying to remember the face of one of them.
Shi Han Wu's unchanging appearance made Da Xia instantly recognize him. He then ran quickly to her.
"Teacher Han!" shouts Da Xia.
Shi Han Wu was stunned when he realized that it was Da Xia. His little disciple who had genius above all others. A moment before he left the Silver Mountain, they were both teachers and disciples.
Shi Jun Hui then also recalled Da Xia as an ice tribe pride cultivator who massacred many vandals. In recent years there have been many people who want to eradicate all descendants of the ice tribe. It is not yet known exactly what the purpose of the man did but there have been many casualties.
The inhabitants of the ice tribe had to feel a sense of worry when going out past the protective boundary and meeting with outsiders. As much as possible they had to cover up their identity as the descendants of the ice tribe in order to survive the assassination.
An independent and widely revered ice tribe in various countries may be one of the triggers. Cultivators from different races considered them a threat that could shift their popularity. More precisely they did not want to be rivaled and wanted to be considered the strongest.
"Da Xia saluted teacher Han and Elder Jun." Da Xia saluted followed by Huan Ran.
"Hopefully always be happy," Shi Han Wu replied.
"May be given a long life," Shi Jun Hui replied.
Hearing the noise outside, Yu Ruo, Consort Shi and Consort Ning who were preparing food for them were interested in going out.
Concubine Ning hid behind Consort Shi's back when she saw Huang Ran. When his father was still a member of the Imperial Council, they met frequently. He is haunted by guilt when he remembers his past crimes.
After a short chat, they went to the living room to enjoy a simple meal. Concubine Ning still felt nervous when she sat down with Huang Ran. His movements received special attention from Fang Yin who already knew the story about them.
He secretly planned a meeting to reconcile the two without involving anyone.
***
At night, though,
Fang Yin invited Consort Ning to go to practice in a place a little far from their home. Previously, he had already asked Da Xia to bring Huang Ran over to catch up with him.
Concubine Ning and Fang Yin practiced sword techniques. They look very compact doing the moves while training. The sword containing Qi glistened amidst the darkness and looked extremely beautiful.
Da Xia and Huang Ran came in the middle of their lathan. As had been planned beforehand, Fang Yin and Da Xia wanted to reconcile Huang Ran and Consort Ning.
Concubine Ning stopped her movements and looked misbehaved upon seeing the arrival of Huang Ran and Da Xia. Instantly his concentration became crumpled and it was impossible to continue the training.
"Good night, Da Xia's sister, Huang Ran," Fang Yin greeted the two.
"Good night, Princess Gu."
An attitude that was not much different from Fang Yin's attitude a while ago where she was so indifferent to Consort Ning even though she had forgiven him.
"Mother, I'm sorry if Huang Ran's presence makes you uncomfortable. I just want to make you guys make peace," Fang Yin said paying more attention to Consort Ning so that she did not feel alone amidst the people who hated the Ning Clan.
"I feel so guilty about him. Although I was rejected several times by his father when he asked him to do the dirty work I offered, it was not really me who killed his family. There are people who deliberately take that opportunity so that it makes an impression as if I did it," Consort Ning explained.
Huang Ran tried to digest Consort Ning's words and went back to recall the events in his past. Several people dressed in black broke into his residence in the middle of the night after paralysing guards at his home. It happened so fast that he could not recognize the perpetrators.
Hiang Ran himself survived because he was not in his room. He just returned from a celebration. Feeling unable to deal with his opponent, he chose to hide behind a wall when he saw the killers coming out of his house.
Ning's adviser instead accused her of being the mastermind behind the massacre of her family with a motive of envy. From that day on, Huang Ran chose to leave the palace and live in the wild. He left carrying a grudge and intended to avenge her later on.
The only person she should be suspicious of was Consort Ning since she was the last one to meet her father before to ask him to work together to slander Consort Shi. However, his mind opened slightly after hearing Consort Ning's explanation. It didn't seem like he was the one who did it considering that his family's assassins were quite strong cultivators and not from the palace environment, while Consort Ning had never been in contact with the outside world before.
"I almost killed the wrong guy. I thought you were the mastermind behind my family's massacre. Do you know who did it?" asked Huang Ran.
"I myself don't know for sure but I guess only Uncle Ning can do it. Back then I only wanted to get rid of Concubine Shi and Yin'er. I can't believe Uncle Ning also massacred the entire Gu Clan and my family. I'm really sorry I worked with the wrong people. After he took power, I no longer wanted to stay in the palace and chose to leave behind all the luxuries that made me a spiteful man." Concubine Ning spoke in a heavy voice describing the regret that was squeezing her heart.
"Let's forget this matter and together reclaim the Eastern Continent and make it a land of peace. It is time for Emperor Ning's evil to be eliminated from this land." Huang Ran no longer harbored Concubine Ning and was ready to cooperate with her.
What Concubine Ning faced after this would not be easy considering she had to fight against her own family. Everything he did was not just to make amends for Concubine Shi but really wanted to uphold the truth and justice.
Too many crimes committed by Emperor Ning that made the Empire of the Eastern Continent fall apart. The lives of the people who are afraid of death cause gaps and various criminal acts appear every day.
No matter what people thought, Concubine Ning had already rounded her resolve to stand on the right side and support Fang Yin.
That night, they returned to the village with a peaceful feeling. Along the way they did not talk much and chose to focus on his journey using a fast stepping technique.
Duarr! Booms!
A loud explosion rang out outside the Silver Mountain region. Only a great power could emit such an explosive sound. The dark night sky revealed a brief flash of fire from the southeast.
They saw Jian Heng, Shi Jun Hui and Shi Han Wu darting flying towards the direction of the explosion. Behind her Concubine Shi and also Yu Ruo followed her. After that there were still some elders and Patriarch Shi flew after them.
"It looks like we also have to take part," said Huang Ran.
"Let's go!" da Xia.
The four of them turned around and caught up with the people who had already left first. Fang Yin took out a leaf artifact and asked the three of them to go up with him.
In a short period of time, they managed to catch up to the Shi family entourage that had departed just before them.
"Yin 'er. I thought you had left first," said Jian Heng flying over to his lover.
"We saw your departure when we were almost at the village."
Jian Heng nodded at Fang Yin's explanation then refocused himself to look ahead.
The borders of the Silver Mountain were already visible and they began to break through the spell of the protective mist. Patriarch Shi led in front followed by a row of elders and the others.
Fang Yin and Jian Heng stood at the very back of the row.
Hundreds of fire demon troops moved forward with their rowdy voices looking extremely impatient to attack. His entire body was enveloped by the blazing flames with a grinning face. On his head was a small horn that stuck out between his hair. His red pupils lit up in the dark and looked terrifying.
"Good! You came before you entered and destroyed the ice tribe," said the fire demon who stood at the very front. He had a different appearance to the golden crown that adorned his head.
The demonic army charging forward eroded the distance between them. Patriarch Shi looked alert and tried to alert the people behind him to prepare with a hand gesture.
"Before we had no business. The ice tribe race had never offended the fire demon race. Never initiate enmity between us without a clear cause!" Patriarch Shi tried to prevent the fight.
"You slaughtered our allies and killed one of our troops. Don't expect us to stay silent and let you win!" the fire demon leader advanced before Patriarch Shi with a hand that was preparing to attack.
"There seems to be a misunderstanding between us. We have never been out of the Silver Mountain region in the past few weeks. Ever since the glacier tribe dispute, we've never been out of here. You're just looking for an excuse." Patriarch Shi did not accept the accusation.
The fire demon leader no longer replied and directly gave an attack to Patriarch Shi. The troops he was carrying immediately ran quickly to deliver an attack. Their fight was unavoidable with an unbalanced amount.
One from Patriarch Shi's side had to fight against at least five members of the fire demon leader's army.
Fang Yin jumped into the middle of the fight by emitting an extremely powerful aura. The ground trembled as his feet stepped on him firmly. The aura in his body spread out making the people around him bounce backwards.
Some people fall when they are not ready.
"Stop this fight or I'll slaughter the entire demon race!" fang Yin exclaimed with an extremely frightening aura.
The leader of the fire demon army retreated backwards while clutching his chest as it was unable to be within such a close distance to Fang Yin.
"Who are you really? Why are you blocking us from destroying the ice tribe?" asked the fire demon leader while controlling his strength to withstand the pressure of Fang Yin's energy.
Fang Yin answered the question of the leader of the fire demon race by showing the form of the Dragon Goddess. His perfect form with a golden-coloured dragon spirit that raised his body upwards.
The form of the Dragon Goddess he possessed today was more perfect than the form of the Dragon Goddess before him. In the past a Dragon Goddess had to fuse with a dragon spirit and make herself a full dragon. However, Fang Yin took on two forms as a Goddess and a giant dragon as the embodiment of her companion spirit.
They are an inseparable entity and have an equal standing. If in the past a Dragon Goddess could not live a normal life as a human, then Fang Yin had her life with a companion spirit protecting her.
This happened because the dual souls in Fang Yin's body were fused and inseparable. Agatha's vast intelligence and knowledge created a profound change in the ancient martial arts and cultivation development within Fang Yin.
The fire demon army thought a thousand times to fight the Dragon Goddess. To search for him is like seeking death. Even their king could not defeat him.
Patriarch Shi asked the others to retreat as they were also unable to withstand the increasingly powerful aura of the Dragon Goddess energy.
"Do you guys still want to destroy the ice tribe?" asked Fang Yin in a loud voice.
The fire demon army whispered to each other. Either getting a boost from nowhere, one of his troops advanced forward and attacked Yang Hui.
"Tell him!" fang Yin's Command.
Yang Hui happily obeyed Fang Yin's orders. His tail wagged and made the body of the troop slammed into the air and with a quick movement he swallowed it alive.
"Who else wants to offer to be my meal?" Yang Hui let out a flame burp that gushed into the air.
The fire demon army retreated a few steps back looking at the terrifying incident. They no longer dare to take action.
"I will remember this defeat. We'll come back and bring more troops!" the leader of the fire demon army prepared to leave. However, the moment they turned around they were startled by the arrival of the demon lord and his army.
The fire demon leader smiled as he felt that getting reinforcements and his king went down directly to it. He paused his intention to leave and chose to remain standing up to challenge the Dragon Goddess.
Behind Fang Yin, Patriarch Shi brought his troops to move back. Only Jian Heng still stayed where he was and did not want to be far from Fang Yin.
Not yet sure what the intent of the arrival of the fire demon king was. Everyone was anxiously awaiting his arrival.
