Chapter 392. Ling Shasha's

The highlight of Fang Yin's eyes implied a sense of disbelief. As someone who had never had a child, he was unthinkable. His knowledge as a doctor was only theoretical.

Spontaneously his gaze headed towards his still flat stomach. There was no sign of a small creature inside. However, his heart was suddenly overjoyed to hear Jian Heng's words even though this matter was uncertain.

'If only I lived in the modern world. I don't have to guess to know all this. In the hospital there is a 4D Ultrasound that can indicate early pregnancy, Fang Yin murmured in the heart.

Jian Heng moved closer eroding the distance between the two. His hand grabbed Fang Yin's head and placed it on his shoulder. He gently rubbed his long hair that was broken down until it reached the floor while sitting down.

"I'm afraid you'll feel disappointed if I don't really get pregnant, Brother Heng," Fang Yin said with mixed feelings.

Still fixed on his position, Jian Heng kissed Fang Yin's head gently.

"I won't be sad or disappointed, Yin'er. We will keep trying until we get offspring. My little heart says that we're really going to have a child soon." Jian Heng's right hand touched Fang Yin's cheek and rubbed it gently.

Getting that treatment, Fang Yin moved her head and looked towards Jian Heng with a smile. The maturity of the man sitting before him was beyond doubt. In addition, he also had incredible wisdom and patience.

They enjoyed their moment together that night. Recollected memories of the past while they were still in the wild. At the beginning of the meeting, it was Jian Heng who had first feelings for Fang Yin.

The sense of comfort when leaning on Jian Heng made him feel sleepy. His eyelids blink slowly until they are closed. Fang Yin fell asleep in a sitting position.

His calm breath provoked Jian Heng's curiosity. He then turned his head towards her and found Fang Yin sleeping.

"Hmm, I thought you were quiet because you were happy. Apparently you are silent because you are sleepy," whispered Jian Heng with a smile looking at Fang Yin's unwary attitude at all.

Seeing Fang Yin who was already sleeping soundly, Jian Heng then lifted his body and carried him to the bed. Tired seemed to disappear when he saw the calm face of his wife who was asleep. Not long after he followed her to dreamland.

Early in the morning, Concubine Shi and Yu Ruo had already come to Fang Yin's residence and made a fuss. They forced the bodyguards to let the two enter the palace. The guard who was on guard was confused to obey or forbid them. Several times he said that he did not dare to disturb Jian Heng and Fang Yin but that his mother and grandmother continued to insist on giving the guards a deathly look.

"We will be responsible if Yin'er and our son-in-law blame you. Don't worry, no one will dare to fire you under our protection" Yu Ruo said.

The soul of the grandmother's bar was indeed no opponent. Its carefree and unruly nature is declining on Fang Yin to date. Finally the bodyguard let the two enter with a feeling of uneasiness.

The atmosphere was still bright that morning. The cold air makes anyone reluctant to wake up. However, the palace servants have been working since the early hours in accordance with their respective duties.

"Mom, aren't we overreacting?" concubine Shi asked with a slightly disinclined feeling.

After all right now his son and son-in-law were the supreme rulers of the Eastern Continent. They shouldn't have come and interrupted his rest. It was still too early of course their arrival would be surprising to Fang Yin and Jian Heng.

"Have it, don't think too much! You don't know if last night I couldn't sleep because I thought of my granddaughter. I would love to immediately look at her situation and check if she is really alright," explained Yu Ruo with a serious face.

Concubine Shi finally resigned. They again stepped through the garden and came towards Fang Yin's room.

The room still looks empty. There are no signs of life there. Neither Fang Yin nor Jian Heng seemed to have woken up from his slumber.

An uneasy feeling still touched Concubine Shi's heart. Now Yu Ruo was starting to look disinclined as he stood in front of his second room. They looked at each other for a while.

"Would we just go back, Mother? I feel bad if I wake up Yin'er this early. Moreover they are a couple who have not been married for a long time" Consort Shi whispered.

Unlike before, this time Yu Ruo felt awkward.

"But we've already arrived here, Jie'er. It's futile that we argue with the bodyguards if we just give up after getting here." The look in Yu Ruo's eyes implied disappointment.

For a moment they stood there doing nothing. Their originally excited spirit disappeared somewhere until suddenly the door of Fang Yin's room opened. The two were shocked and immediately turned to face the room to see who opened the door.

Not much different from the two, Fang Yin was no less surprised. She looked at Mom and Grandma alternately as she rubbed her eyes. His condition that had not fully awakened after waking up made him doubt the look of his eyes.

"Mother, Grandma! Since when did you guys come?" fang Yin asked as she looked around and found that it was still very early in the morning.

"Ah, we just arrived, Yin'er. We miss you so much and want to invite you to go for a walk to the park" said Yu Ruo.

That answer made Fang Yin even more confused but he did not want to refute. He innocently nodded and made Yu Ruo look happy.

Consort Shi himself did not say much and followed his mother's will alone. He walked behind Yu Ruo and Fang Yin with a box of sweets. Either forgot it or how he carried it without giving it to Fang Yin.

The three walked to a small cottage that stood in the corner of the park. From there he could see through the entire area of Fang Yin's garden and residence. There were a few servants who had been passing by around the place to work.

Fang Yin's face still looked sleepy. His hand moved several times to cover his mouth and rest his head on the table.

"Yin 'er. Are you sleepy or not feeling well?" ask Concubine Shi look worried.

After placing the box of sweets on the table, he then came to Fang Yin and touched her forehead. She felt her daughter's body temperature was normal but her sloppy eyes that showed a sloth were clearly drawn there. With this he concluded that Fang Yin was indeed not doing well.

"Come, Mother. I didn't feel anything hurt but my body felt very lazy. As I recall, I never did any strenuous and exhausting activities. However, for some reason my body felt like it had finished fighting against countless enemies at one time," Fang Yin explained.

Concubine Shi and Yu Ruo looked at each other. Their suspicions are reasonable. Now they heard for themselves as Fang Yin complained.

"May grandma check on you?" asked Yu Ruo.

Fang Yin nodded.

Yu Ruo moved his seat to nearby Fang Yin and asked the grandson to extend his left hand. He then rolled Fang Yin's sleeves up to elbow height. In addition to the palm, the appearance on the inner arm is very important for the examination that will be done.

Consort Shi was seen focusing on watching during the examination process conducted by her mother. Little did he know the process and results of the examination. His face looked tense as he watched the examination take place.

In order to obtain a truly accurate result, Yu Ruo repeated the examination up to several times. However, the results are still the same. As much as possible he did not show a dominant facial expression to keep Fang Yin's feelings in check.

"Am I okay, Grandma?" fang Yin asked curiously, at this moment she really did not want to second-guess.

Yu Ruo looked at Concubine Shi as if asking for her opinion.

"You're fine, Yin'er. Maybe you are just exhausted," explained Yu Ruo.

Feeling a gaze from her mother, Consort Shi would attempt to say what she knew.

"For a while you have to reduce strenuous activity, Yin'er. We are afraid that what you are feeling right now is an early symptom of pregnancy" Consort Shi added.

Fang Yin looked at the two alternately with a serious look.

'Why does everyone have the same opinion. Last night Brother Heng and now mother and grandmother. Will I really get pregnant soon.' Fang Yin monologued in heart.

"May what you say come true. I'd be so happy if this really happened." Fang Yin smiled happily.

As someone who had experienced injustice within the palace, Consort Shi was worried that Fang Yin was actually pregnant. Although Jian Heng currently had no other wife besides himself but evil was still possible to happen. They did not know if there were any intruders or other parties who did not want any successor for the Eastern Continent Empire.

"In front of him you should be more careful, Yin'er. With or without us knowing it, evil must be all around us. It is appropriate that we keep the prospective successor" Consort Shi said.

"Your mother's right. It's very hard to find a crime because the government you run is new for corn. It has not been seen who is loyal or just looking for face. Sometimes the power and aroma of money can make a person's nature change" Yu Ruo added.

Fang Yin nodded.

"I will always remember the advice of my grandmother and mother. As much as possible I will keep meetings about the news of my pregnancy so that no one can harm her. Grandma and mom don't worry, I'm not a weak person."

Concubine Shi and Yu Ruo nodded happily. They finally felt relieved when they saw the state of Fang Yin who had not experienced any meaningful problems. For happy news about the presence of a baby in the womb was not certain.

Concubine Shi then opened the box of sweets she was carrying. After all the talk did not continue, he only had the chance to give the sweets to Fang Yin. Not forgetting that he called a servant and asked him to come and bring warm drinks in front of them.

The aroma of the handmade sweets of his mother made Fang Yin unable to hold back any longer. He immediately picked up the sweets after Consort Shi opened them. When he saw fruits with a sour base taste, he was so enthusiastic about taking them.

Again Concubine Shi and Yu Ruo looked at each other. What Fang Yin did made the two of them feel strange again. This behavior is very similar to the characteristics of people who are pregnant young.

'Since when Yin'er was there. I thought he was bathing and decorated," muttered Jian Heng who had a neat appearance.

Seeing that there was also Concubine Shi and Yu Ruo, Jian Heng felt a little calm. At least he knew that Fang Yin was not being aloof from being sad. With a hasty step he went to catch up with her.

"Good morning, Mother, Grandma. I'm sorry I'm late to welcome you two" Jian Heng said as he joined his hands in courtesy to the two.

"There's no need to be too polite, Heng'er. We're the ones who feel disrespectful for coming this early and bothering you." Concubine Shi returned Jian Heng's greeting representing her mother.

Fang Yin felt embarrassed when he saw Jian Heng was already neat and fragrant while he was still in a mess. His grandmother and mother were also seen bathing before they came to his residence. Only he remains a man who has not cleaned.

"Sit down! We will pour you a drink" Yu Ruo added.

Jian Heng also took an empty seat that faced Fang Yin.

"Do you also want to eat mother-made sweets?" concubine Shi asked as she thrust out a box filled with sweets that were not full.

"I'm not used to eating sweets but the fragrance of these sweets is like inviting me to eat them." Jian Heng also picked up a sweet.

"Don't take that much! I love it," Fang Yin said as he watched Jian Heng pick up the fruit sweets he had previously eaten.

Concubine Shi and Yu Ruo did not expect that her daughter would say that.

"Don't talk like that, Yin'er. You take it easy, I'll make it for you even more until you get bored." Concubine Shi shook her head at her daughter's behavior.

As he was deliberately teasing Fang Yin, Jian Heng took out a box of sweets and ate them voraciously. No doubt what he was doing this made Fang Yin feel annoyed.

Yu Ruo and Concubine Shi were not in a state of mind with the behavior of the child and his daughter-in-law who looked like a child. They feel that they are both acting strangely and unnaturally. The two again concluded that Fang Yin was indeed in the process of conceiving.

"Have ... already .. don't scramble. I'll bring you some more sweets." Concubine Shi exhaled in annoyance as she saw Fang Yin come to snatch the box of sweets from Jian Heng's hand.

With a mutual repugnance, Fang Yin and Jian Heng vied to eat the sweets from within the same box. There were actually other sweets inside the different boxes but they were not interested in eating them. I don't know what the reason was, that morning they were so fond of sweets to taste a little sour and dry.

Jian Heng left his residence and went to his study after the departure of his grandmother and mother-in-law. All that he did was to honor those who had taken the time to visit.

Until everyone left, Fang Yin was still sitting in the garden alone. He was so reluctant to leave the place. The feeling of laziness made him want to stay there until a time he could not be sure of.

'The flower is beautiful.' Fang Yin was interested in approaching a flower garden.

The moment he had reached nearby suddenly his footsteps came to a halt. Not usually he was so interested in seeing the beauty of the flowers even though all this time he did not hate it. The different feelings she felt at this moment and made her compelled to touch and smell the flower.

'I rarely pay attention to the diversity of ornamental plants. It doesn't seem bad. Uh, but since when do I like ornamental plants. Hmm, stop!'

No matter what, Fang Yin walked back to the other flower and looked at him closely. Sometimes he touches and rubs it. There was absolutely no intention to pluck it because it felt so dear.

"Your Majesty! Don't go near the flowers!" exclaimed one of the maids while walking half-run over to Fang Yin.

Fang Yin stopped his steps. He had no idea which flower the waiter was actually meant to have. The only thing he could do was choose to shut up and wait for the waiter to explain to him.

When it came to Fang Yin's presence, the maid still managed to catch her breath panting after running. His hand pointed towards the flower meant with a mouth that almost said the words but was obstructed by a cough.

"Calm down! There's no need to rush to explain what you know," Fang Yin said trying to calm the maid down.

The waiter nodded then tried to catch his breath slowly. Until a while he inhaled a lot of air and exhaled slowly. After feeling better, the servant began to arrange words.

"Oh, Your Majesty. Servant doesn't mean to be rude to you. I just want to convey what I know" said the waiter.

Fang Yin nodded then moved his right hand hinting at the servant to continue his explanation.

"It was the flower of the Nine Heavenly Sword. A person who has not had a child is forbidden to approach him. That's the myth I heard from the elders living in my village" said the waiter.

Fang Yin had only heard the name of this flower for the first time. The mythical story told by this servant was the first time he heard it. However, looking at the servant's face that looked so solemn, he was very sure that what was said was true.

"What is your name and where do you come from?" asked Fang Yin in a serious tone.

"My name is Ling Shasha. Before working here I lived in Qu village in the Ru Ming mountains." The servant answered Fang Yin's question without hesitation.

"Hm." Fang Yin nodded.

After feeling certain that the flower was dangerous, Fang Yin immediately threw fire energy towards the Nine Heavens Sword flower and instantly became ashes. He did not want to ask further about the ill effects of the flower. For Fang Yin actions are more important and must come first.

"The flower is very rare and beautiful. A person must feel special if he has it but he does not realize if all the beauty that spoils him can endanger himself, his family or those closest to him. If the flower powder is inhaled by a girl then that person will find it difficult to get offspring, even can no longer," explained Ling Shasha.

Ling Shasha's innocence attracted Fang Yin's attention. His independent attitude and not used to being served made him reluctant to have a personal servant. However, this time he wanted to have it after seeing Ling Shasha's heroic demeanor so boldly warning him.

"Now what role are you taking in this palace?" ask Fang Yin.

If Ling Shasha held an important job then she could not take it as her personal servant. For that, before he made a decision then he asked first.

"I'm in charge of cleaning up this park, Your Majesty."

Unseeded a faint smile on Fang Yin's face after hearing Ling Shasha's reply.

"Tell the butler if from now on you will be my personal servant. After that you can come back here and do your first task," Fang Yin said in a flat tone but relaxed.

Ling Shasha looked very excited to hear that. He didn't think he would get this chance.

"All right, Your Majesty. I'll be right back," Ling Shasha said as she fused her hands together before Fang Yin.

"Hm." Fang Yin nodded.

Her admiration for the beauty of the flowers slowly faded. Fang Yin did not want to touch or approach her even though they looked so beautiful. If not to meet Ling Shasha maybe he would have also touched the dangerous Nine Heavens Sword flower.

"You guys are indeed so beautiful but I won't be tempted anymore to touch you guys," Fang Yin muttered as she pa.s.sed towards a tree to wait for Ling Shasha.

Fang Yin jumped onto a rock to look around him. From where he was at the moment he could see his new servant who was walking cheerfully after meeting the butler who happened to be not far from them.

If Fang Yin had already given the order then no one could resist him. The butler was unlikely to prevent the new servant from becoming his master's personal servant despite the many more experienced old servants. His face looked less happy when he found out that Ling Shasha had become a personal servant.

Not only the butler, the other servants who heard it were envious. All this time he has worked well but did not get this opportunity. However, they regarded this as a fortune to Ling Shasha and did not bother about this.

"I'm coming, Your Majesty." Ling Shasha greeted Fang Yin to inform him of his arrival.

"Hm. Come with me now! I'll tell you about what you have to do," Fang Yin said as he moved from his seat.

"Okay, Your Majesty." Ling Shasha bowed respectfully then walked behind Fang Yin.

The two became the center of attention of the servants and bodyguards who were working in the park. Ling Shasha lowered her head more because she was uncomfortable with the other servants' views. Whispers began to sound to shake him.

Fang Yin stopped his steps abruptly until Ling Shasha's forehead hit his back.

"Sorry, Your Majesty," said Ling Shasha.

Fang Yin ignored the remark and chose to turn to the waiter who was whispering. His sharp gaze instantly made the servants disperse. However, he did not want to just let go of it.
