Patriarch Shi and the elders welcomed Emperor Jing as a guest of honor. They prepare a special residence and hold a welcoming celebration in a special villa.
Forced Emperor Jing to follow him in honor of Patriarch Shi's welcome and the residents of Silver Mountain. Actually he wanted to stay at Shi Jun Hui's house in order to continue being close to Fang Yin. However, all of his hopes had to be dashed.
Jian Heng breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Emperor Jing's departure. Previously he had thought that Emperor Jing would forever stay with him within the Fang Yin family. If this happens, there will be fierce competition between them.
Fang Yin and Jian Heng did not participate in taking Emperor Jing to his temporary residence. They chose to stay at home and gave the residents of Silver Mountain a chance to meet face to face with Emperor Jing who was lined up as a special guest.
"Yin 'er. It seems that Emperor Jing really likes you. Especially when you find out that you are Princess Gu." Jian Heng spoke with his heavy voice. Implied the burden that squeezes the feeling in every speech.
"That's what it's about what you think about it. I'm not interested in reciprocating his feelings." Fang Yin looked at Jian Heng deeply.
"I'm not a man who is good at seducing women but I don't want to lose my women. I don't know how to keep him by my side without being swayed by another man's expression of love." Jian Heng returned Fang Yin's gaze with a more profound gaze.
"Don't think much about something that's for sure. Everything we've been through has convinced me enough that you're the only man in my life. For yesterday, today and the days to come." Fang Yin reassured Jian Heng of his concern.
Jian Heng's hand grabbed Fang Yin's hand and grasped it tightly. His heart rippled violently whenever they were within such a close distance.
"Thank you, Yin'er." Jian Heng kissed the back of Fang Yin's soft hand.
Jian Heng immediately let go of Fang Yin's hand and shifted slightly away when he saw Shi Han Wu's arrival. The blind grandfather came with a different aura. After training he came back with encouraging results.
Shi Han Wu told Fang Yin and Jian Heng about the improvement he felt after absorbing the energy essence that came out of the Black Jade. This incredible feeling he had never felt before made him so excited.
In the conversation between the three people, Shi Han Wu was the one who spoke the most. His two grandchildren heard more without giving his opinion.
Shi Han Wu turned to all places to look for the other family members. However, there was no one in sight other than Jian Heng and Fang Yin.
"They went to Patriarch Shi's residence to hold Emperor Jing's welcoming celebration," Fang Yin said as if understanding the intent of his grandfather's attitude.
"Emperor Jing? How could he come to this place? What does he want?" shi Han Wu asked curiously.
The question is reasonable because it is impossible for a great leader to come to a remote place without a purpose. Moreover, he came alone without an escort. He thinks it's something strange.
"Only he knows the reason, Cake. I haven't had a chance to talk to him either" Fang Yin honestly said.
"He came to pay a visit to the Silver Mountain as a guest of honor as well as wanting to meet Yin'er as an old friend" Jian Heng explained.
Shi Han Wu looked at Fang Yin in disbelief. Without his identity as a princess, apparently his grandson had managed to lure many men. No wonder the women felt envious of him and always gossiped him in the back.
Seeing Jian Heng's lackluster face when mentioning Emperor Jing's name, Shi Han Wu thought of picking up another topic in their chatter. As a fellow man he perfectly understood how he felt when his lover was contested by many men. Of course he would not be happy to hear the name of his rival being talked about in front of him.
"I plan to call Tian Feng here today," Shi Han Wu said.
Jian Heng looked at Fang Yin cluelessly as his lover looked extremely pleased as Shi Han Wu mentioned the name.
'Which other man wants to compete for Yin'er's attention, ' murmured Jian Heng inwardly. His face looked glum again. Shi Han Wu did not add the name of the Gu Clan in front of the name Tian Feng so he misunderstood and thought a no-no.
"Call now, Cake. I can't wait to see Uncle Feng again. He must have missed his beautiful niece a lot too" Fang Yin said half-jokingly.
Jian Heng was relieved that it turned out that the man was his uncle. His facial expression instantly changed and brightened back.
"Since when do you like to praise yourself, Yin'er." Jian Heng chuckled lightly as he glanced amusedly at Fang Yin's ridiculous mannerism.
"Because I've managed to make Emperor Xi's Third Prince feel jealous whenever he hears the name of a man being mentioned in front of him," Fang Yin chanted as if understanding Jian Heng's every change in attitude.
Jian Heng wanted to refute him but was afraid that Fang Yin was angry with him. His lips seemed to be twitching with a stifled voice and not being spoken by him.
"Basic naughty girl. It could be tempting to a jealous person" Shi Han Wu added.
That remark sounded like a defense to Jian Heng but it also contained a hint of ridicule as well.
The three of them looked very happy. Jian Heng did not mind Shi Han Wu teasing him because everything he said was not entirely wrong. Until now he was still hard to accept if there was a man who approached Fang Yin.
Shi Han Wu took a perfectly seated stance then began to concentrate. With his soul force he summoned Gu Tian Feng to come. They often communicate with the power of the soul because they always live far apart in different places.
Inside his communication, Shi Han Wu cast a secret spell to be able to pass through the ice tribe's protective fog spell.
Jian Heng and Fang Yin sat before Shi Han Wu calmly without doing anything. The two waited for Shi Han Wu to finish calling Gu Tian Feng to come.
Not too long later Shi Han Wu opened his eyes and looked towards the two who were still sitting before him.
"I thought you were gone. Feng'er will be here soon. Maybe he'll be here soon."
Just now Shi Han Wu finished speaking but the voice of the zither had sounded in the distance. The three of them immediately moved and looked up into the air. Gu Tian Feng's shadow was faintly visible in the distance.
This was the first time Jian Heng had met the remaining descendants of the Gu Clan other than Fang Yin. He felt even more confident that victory would side with Fang Yin with a lot of support.
Tian Feng paid his respects to his teacher. The four of them talked about the attack plan that would be carried out in a moment.
At Patriarch Shi's residence, the,
Emperor Jing had finished giving his welcome and sat down together with the elders along with the entire population of Silver Mountain. They were very excited to welcome him. The good relationship between the ice tribe and the Jing Clan had been established for generations.
Emperor Jing handed out gifts to the elders and villagers of Silver Mountain. As an emperor, his storage ring contained countless treasures. It was a small thing for him to give a gift to everyone who was there.
Although Emperor Jing had actually brought supplies, he still enjoyed the food provided by the ice tribe residents. Many beautiful girls surrounded him and served his needs. However, he was not interested in them one bit.
His mind drifted to Fang Yin's humble abode. Emperor Jing felt a little disappointed whenever he looked towards the incoming residents and did not find Fang Yin among them.
Although here he was properly served, if given the choice for him, he would still choose to stay in the humble residence of the Fang Yin family.
The celebration of Emperor Jing's welcome involved many parties and lasted all day. Feeling uneasy with the other residents, Jian Heng took the initiative to invite Fang Yin to go to Patriarch Shi's place.
It was too late for them to come. However, Fang Yin was confident that no one would dare to reprimand him including Emperor Jing.
"Yin 'er. Remember what I said," whispered Jian Heng.
"You don't have to worry." Fang Yin grabbed Jian Heng's hand and grasped it.
What he did made Jian Heng surprised but he was delighted. No more worries on his face. Such treatment alone made his heart feel calm.
Jian Heng's charm in the eyes of the women of the Silver Mountain residents slightly dimmed rivaled by Emperor Jing's charm. This became something exhilarating for Fang Yin as there was nothing bothering Jian Heng in front of his eyes.
"Is the place still far away, Yin'er?" ask Shi Han Wu.
"No, Cake, we'll be there soon." After saying this Fang Yin turned to look at Tian Feng.
"What are you thinking, Uncle? You have been silent since. Have I made a mistake?" ask Fang Yin.
Tian Feng's slightly reclusive nature and calm nature made him look strange to people who were new to him. His mysterious attitude made him seem scary. It was no wonder that he and his grandfather were known as blind demons.
The residents of Silver Mountain gave them a way to advance before the elders. Massive banquets will be held soon. The arrivals of Fang Yin, Jian Heng, Shi Han Wu and Tian Feng were judged to be very precise.
Emperor Jing smiled happily upon seeing the arrival of Fang Yin and his entourage. He whispered to one of the elders to give them a seat.
Fang Yin walked at the very front followed by Jian Heng, Shi Han Wu and Tian Feng. The four of them walked so gracefully through the crowd of residents.
Guan Xing came to pay his respects then sat back down with the ranks of the elders. They took turns saluting and allowing Fang Yin and the others to sit down.
There was something different from Emperor Jing's attitude but not the happy attitude like before. His eyes did not blink looking towards Gu Tian Feng. A memory flashed in his head about this figure that resembled the man before him.
This change in Emperor Jing's attitude attracted everyone's attention and made them follow the direction his eyes looked. Attention now turned to Gu Tian Feng.
Emperor Jing walked forward toward Tian Feng. His presence made the originally seated Tian Feng stand up to greet him.
"I remember my childhood friend when I saw your face" Emperor Jing said.
Tian Feng was surprised to hear that. He did not immediately reply and chose to find the answer in his own way. His right hand extended forward touching Emperor Jing's shoulder.
Originally Emperor Jing was shocked by what Tian Feng was doing. However, he did not reject her and let Tian Feng do as he wished.
Everyone was speechless looking towards Emperor Jing and Tian Feng. They don't know what the two are doing. Tian Feng was also a stranger to them and did not possess the traits of an ice tribe descendant.
Tian Feng's touch of hand made Emperor Jing feel out of his world right now. He was in life long before he became an emperor.
The place where he was right now was a deserted street where he was lost. Emperor Jing was separated from his family while on a hunt.
They were camping in a forest that was in the border region between the Northern Continent and the Eastern Continent. His father wanted to train him to hunt from a young age. About that time Emperor Jing was only six years old.
"Dad ... dad!" call him while crying.
His little feet were walking in an uncertain direction down a path that was rarely passed. There was no one there because his personal bodyguard left him inside the tent while he was asleep.
Little Emperor Jing did not know where his feet were going until he crossed the border and entered the territory of the Eastern Continent.
The dense forest was unable to be broken through by the sunlight. Although it was still daytime but it looked like afternoon. Emperor Jing raised his crying voice when he was afraid to expect his father or bodyguard to hear him.
Emperor Jing's stomach felt extremely hungry after walking for so long. He could no longer cry because there was no more energy. His eyes sparkled with delight as he looked at a source of water under the roots of a huge tree.
Emperor Jing walked quickly to get to him. Her throat was dry after crying for so long.
After feeling his thirst had disappeared, little Emperor Jing gave up his drink and prepared to walk in search of his father. However, how shocked he was when he saw the myriad of ferocious beasts standing around him.
There was nothing Emperor Jing could do then other than cry and try running. His ability is still minimal. Feeling that there was nothing to rely on other than himself, Emperor Jing tried to be brave.
He jumped onto a tree branch to avoid the lion and a flock of hungry tigers that were scouting him. The beasts did not stop chasing him until he reached the streets passed by humans.
Little Emperor Jing ran down the street and fell down. His body rolled down the not-so-deep abyss. Instead of giving up, the beasts were even more eager to chase after him. Emperor Jing's small body slammed into the rocks and bled.
The smell of blood coming out of his body made other animals around him swarm and scramble to eat him. Emperor Jing resigned to accept his death because he could no longer save himself.
His eyes were closed when he saw a huge tiger leaping towards him.
A rowdy voice continued to sound around him but Emperor Jing did not dare to look at him. He thought that the beasts chasing him were fighting for him.
The noisy sounds of animal noises and the commotion stopped. The situation around him became quiet. Feeling something strange, Emperor Jing squinted his eyes to see what was happening around him.
All the animals that were chasing him were lifeless. Little Emperor Jing immediately opened his eyes wide and looked for the cause of the animals' deaths.
"Dad! Are you that? Daddy!" call Emperor Jing trying to stand with a crumbling body.
"I think I'm too young for you to call me father, little brother."
The voice of a teenager made little Emperor Jing aghast. He didn't know the man but he was so good at saving him. In the middle of the desolate and secluded forest it turned out that there was still someone living there.
"So what happened to your eyes? Are you hurt for helping you?" the innocent attitude of a little boy demanded him to ask.
From the first moment he saw it, the eyes of the young man who helped him kept on closing.
"I was blind from birth" replied the man.
Little Emperor Jing dropped himself to his knees. He felt that his attitude had just been disrespectful.
"I'm sorry, Brother. I didn't mean to insult you. I'm so grateful that you saved me, I shouldn't be so lazy to ask you something that doesn't deserve you." Little Emperor Jing knelt before the man.
"There's no need to feel guilty like that, little brother. Wake up! My name is Tian Feng. What's yourname?" tian Feng asked.
"My name is Jing Zhou Wei. I went hunting with my father but I don't know where he is right now. I seem to be lost." Emperor Jing told him what he was going through.
"How could your father have so much heart to leave you alone in the wilderness like this Jing. Someone should have accompanied you when he left." Tian Feng felt pity to see Emperor Jing who looked dejected.
"There was actually a bodyguard who accompanied me earlier but I had no idea where he was going when I fell asleep. I was afraid to be alone and go looking for Dad but I didn't find him anymore. Hafei ...." Little Emperor Jing came back crying.
"It ... Don't cry I'll help you find where your father is." Tian Feng calmed Emperor Jing down.
Little Emperor Jing smiled happily.
"Thank you, Brother!"
Tian Feng had sharp hearing even though back then he had not had any vision with his inner eyes. He noticed the rhythm of Emperor Jing's steps and felt an awkwardness.
"Are you hurt?" tanyanya.
"A little bit, brother. But it's okay, I'm still strong walking," elak Emperor Jing tried to cover up the pain he felt.
Tian Feng stopped his steps. He could not bear to let a small child walk with a wound on his body. His teacher had taught him some medical science. It was time for him to learn the knowledge he had learned.
Little Emperor Jing complied as Tian Feng asked him to sit down and show his injuries. Recalling his eyes could not see, Tian Feng also asked him to move his hands over the wound so that he could deliver the medicine in the right place.
The medicine given by Tian Feng left an excruciating pain. Emperor Jing tried to refrain from crying when he was usually very spoiled.
"Do you feel pain? Hold on for a while, it won't take long and your wounds will dry soon."
"Not sick, Brother," lied Emperor Jing.
Tian Feng smiled. From the sound of his breathing he could hear clearly if Emperor Jing endured the pain. However, he did not want to discuss it and considered Emperor Jing's lies to be done so that he did not feel worried.
"Your little foot is too slow to walk, we can't find your father quickly if I'm waiting for you to walk. Get on my back!" Tian Feng sat crouched down in front of Emperor Jing.
"But, Sister ...." Emperor Jing felt that he was always troublesome.
"Hurry up, hurry up!" reiterate Tian Feng.
Even little Emperor Jing complied. He climbed onto Tian Feng's back and immediately left from there.
His small body felt so light to Tian Feng and felt it did not carry any weight. Back then Tian Feng had mastered the technique of lightening an intermediate level body.
Tian Feng also had another ability where he could sniff out the traces of energy left behind by Emperor Jing. With a swift movement he walked following the trail that Emperor Jing had walked.
Slowly but surely they left the territory of the Eastern Continent towards the border.
Father Emperor Jing did not dare to enter the territory of the Eastern Continent and search for Emperor Jing around the campground. His face looked gloomy and almost desperate when his son had not yet been found.
Tian Feng sharpened his hearing trying to listen to the sound of someone's footsteps in the distance.
"Jing's sister. About fifty feet from here I sensed there were some humans. Maybe they are the ones looking for you. I'm sorry I couldn't get you in front of them. I don't want to get acquainted with anyone," Tian Feng explained understandingly to Emperor Jing.
"What if they're bad people?" Little Emperor Jing was worried.
Tian Feng thought for a moment. He was looking for a way to communicate remotely with Emperor Jing.
"Let's just say, I'll wait for you here. Clap your hands once if they are your family and clap your hands three times if you do not know them then I will come to save you. Remember, never tell anyone about our meeting. I don't want anyone to know about me."
"Good, Brother. Thank you very much for your help. Hopefully in the future we can meet again. If that time comes then don't refuse me to return your favor," said the wise-sounding Emperor Jing.
"Go!" Tian Feng patted Emperor Jing's shoulder gently.
Little Emperor Jing turned around and stepped slowly leaving Tian Feng. Several times he looked back to see if Tian Feng was still there or not.
Tian Feng jumped onto the tree and waited for Emperor Jing to arrive at the person who was walking in the distance. Not long after, a clap was heard indicating that Emperor Jing had met his family.
***
Emperor Jing opened his eyes and looked at Tian Feng with a million feelings. A shred of her childhood memories made her heart tremble. Without the presence of the figure of the man before him it was possible that Emperor Jing was no longer in the world.
Not a single word came out of his mouth despite wanting him to speak. Clear threads shot out from the corner of Emperor Jing's eyes then he quickly grabbed Tian Feng's body and hugged him tightly.
"Sister Tian Feng!" said Emperor Jing amidst his sobs.
Everyone stared in surprise at this incident. They did not know the story behind their meeting so much that Emperor Jing was so moved when he met Tian Feng.
Tian Feng returned Emperor Jing's embrace and patted her on the shoulder gently. The same pat as when they were about to part.
"To be emperor is still a crybaby. Look at everyone laughing at you!" tian Feng mocked Emperor Jing.
Emperor Jing paid no heed to Tian Feng's words and continued his novelty until his heart was completely at ease. After a while, Emperor Jing let go of his embrace and took Tian Feng to a seat.
He took the seat of an elder who was originally sitting next to Emperor Jing.
"How do you two know each other?" Fang Yin stared in surprise at Emperor Jing and his uncle in turn.
"The story is long, Yin'er. Our meeting was so long ago, when you were not born in this world." Tian Feng did not want to show off his kindness in the past to anyone.
"Sister, after this come with me to go to the Northern Continent. I want my brother to stay in my palace for as long as you want. Or maybe your sister has a request?" Emperor Jing was still focused on Tian Feng's presence and ignored the others.
Tian Feng's mysterious attitude made everyone wonder. They were curious as to why Emperor Jing respected him so much. His appearance looked very simple and did not show his noble nature.
Judging from his lineage, Tian Feng was a close relative of Emperor Gu who was an uncle of Fang Yin.
"I came to help Yin'er take back the throne that was supposed to belong to the Gu Clan. Other than Yin'er no one has the authority to command me or make a request," Tian Feng said with a face that barely showed any expression.
"Then how do I repay you, Brother." Emperor Jing's face looked sad.
"I've never done anything big for you. Forget that!"
"No! I will continue to follow you until my brother is ready to go to my country. I don't insist on leaving today but you have to promise" Emperor Jing said half forcefully.
Tian Feng finally gave up. Not wanting to make a fuss there, he promised Emperor Jing to come to the Northern Continent Imperial palace after the war ended. His main goal right now was to help Fang Yin.
Everyone who was in that place did not know what kind of relationship was between the Thousand Eyes Swordsman and Emperor Jing. They did not dare to speculate or guess. Until this second no one knew about Tian Feng's true identity.
A woman from the ice tribe's population marched before Emperor Jing with a small child. His face seemed to be filled with sadness and fear.
