Cultivation Goddess
Chapters 372. Bizarre Phenomenon

Fang Yin walked over to Jian Heng and Emperor Xi and paid his respects to the two.

"I'm sorry if I interrupt your time," Fang Yin said.

His timid attitude made Emperor Xi feel confident that his future son-in-law would be a happiness for his son. Even though he could stand on his own firmly and had a high social status, he still gave him face.

"We're not talking about anything important. Is there something you want to talk to Heng'er about? Then I'll give you guys time." Emperor Xi prepared to leave.

"No, Dad. I want to talk about something common." Fang Yin immediately replied before Emperor Xi left from there.

Emperor Xi caught something else on Fang Yin's face. From the look in his eyes he could feel if his future son-in-law was thinking of a problem that was difficult to overcome. It wasn't usually Fang Yin like this and he thought this was very strange.

Jian Heng had the same opinion as his father. He thought that Fang Yin was facing a problem.

"I see a cloudy look on your face, Yin'er. If I could, I'd decorate it with a rainbow." Jian Heng made a verse to describe Fang Yin's current state.

"Dad also saw the same thing. What makes you moody? We're your family now, there's nothing wrong with sharing it." Emperor Xi added.

Fang Yin composed the proper sentences to start his story. What he wanted to say was something complicated. A good or bad event may happen if everything is revealed.

"Sister Heng, Dad, I was indeed thinking about something about something. It's about my other brother from another mother." Fang Yin felt so heavy to speak a lot.

Jian Heng and Emperor Xi looked at each other. They did not understand the meaning of Fang Yin's words about the brother she was referring to. As far as they knew, only Fang Yin remained.

"I'm not sure if you still have another brother from your father's marriage. He should have been here if it really existed." Jian Heng did not understand Fang Yin's story which he thought was absurd.

"Calm down, Heng'er. Let Yin'er tell the story. He knows more about his family than we do. Continue, Yin'er!" Emperor Xi tried to digest the story that had just begun.

Fang Yin nodded.

He then tells about an incident he experienced some time ago where he was trapped in the dragon dimension that brought him to meet a man who claimed to be the son of his father.

His encounter with Cau Ahlin became the reason for his disappearing for a week from the human world. No one could find himself because only the summoned ones could enter the dragon dimensional realm.

Emperor Xi and Jian Heng were shocked to hear this story. At first they thought that Fang Yin had disappeared because he was fighting against someone who had done him bad.

Fang Yin resumed his story where he had to take pains to get out of that dimension. She must face Ying Yushi and Gong Kim after successfully conquering Cau Ahlin.

His quite long existence in the dragon dimension without cultivating made him lose his companion energy and exceed the limit. Fang Yin's state of affairs grew worse when he used the rest of his companion's meager energy to cross dimensions and return to the human world.

At the end of the story Fang Yin told about the Dragon Pool on the Golden Lantern Hill which he had now converted into the Eternal Snow Hill. After this Fang Yin hoped they would provide a solution to his problem.

"What do you want to ask us, Yin'er?" ask Emperor Xi.

"I don't know how I should behave, Dad. On one side he is my brother but on the other he is a spirit beast who has a lot of differences with a human being. Although he is currently being nice to me but I see the downside where he is very easily affected." Fang Yin tried to be neutral.

Emperor Xi did not answer directly. Spirit beasts are not human. Perhaps what Emperor Xi did was a mistake and letting his son stay in his dimension was right. Other than being unsafe, the vices of spirit beasts could have injured all members of his family.

Jian Heng was also unable to answer about this matter. Spirit beasts and humans could not be put together. During this time humans made spirit beasts as companion spirits after successfully taking spirit crystals from him. You could say they were not allowed to live with their physical form in the human world whereas Fang Yin could not possibly kill his brother and store his spirit crystals when he wanted to stay.

"Everything looks tough, Yin'er. I have no solution to this problem. The cruel nature of spirit beasts is more dominant than its gentle nature. Although having your father's blood is not necessarily your brother has the same traits as him. Regardless, no one knows whether your father actually married her or not. If it was true that they were married and had a relationship, of course your father would not have forgotten them and left them just like that."

Fang Yin nodded. Cau Ahlin herself did not receive a complete explanation from her mother and thought only Emperor Gu deserved her blame without knowing what kind of problem her parents really were.

"My family doesn't know about this. They don't know how I left and why I came back unconscious. As for today I'm still keeping this matter a secret" Fang Yin said.

"I don't blame you for this, Yin'er. It takes a lot of consideration to uncover your brother's whereabouts. Appa you will do after knowing everything you should discuss with Heng'er." Emperor Xi realized that the matter of Cau Ahlin would not be finished until here alone. After all, Fang Yin's family had to know about who he was in order for there to be no lopsidedness in the future.

"Regardless of how you're going to take a stand, your family should know about him. Me and Heng'er will help you get it all out. That way you will feel calm despite not getting a way out for Cau Ahlin," Emperor Xi added.

"Thank you, Dad."

The three of them walked out of the garden across a shady corridor with various ornamental plants on either side. Most of the apparitions of the Imperial palaces of the Eastern Continent were not changed. The circumstances were still the same when little Fang Yin was still living there.

Emperor Xi took Jian Heng and Fang Yin away to meet Consort Shi and Tian Feng. As parents they should know about this issue more than anyone.

"I feel like I'm pounding, Dad. I was afraid that this story would make my mother ask Brother Ahlin to stay in this palace. He is a very pitying man." Fang Yin revealed his fear.

"We'll see what happens, Yin'er. If your mother wants that, we can give her an understanding of how ferocious the nature of spirit beasts is. Don't worry, we're standing behind you." Emperor Xi tried to calm Fang Yin down.

"really. I will help you explain everything to mother," Jian Heng added.

Fang Yin's heart felt a little calm.

They again walked towards the residence of Concubine Shi and Tian Feng.

Consorts Shi and Tian Feng were seen chatting on a well-appointed bench near a small garden next to their residence. They did not see Fang Yin coming along with Jian Heng and Emperor Xi.

The respectful greetings from the three made Concubine Shi and Tian Feng shocked. They invited the three guests to sit on an empty bench lined up beside them.

Concubine Shi felt that there was something unusual considering that her daughter had come with her in-laws and future husband.

'May there be no bad news. My heart feels strange with the arrival of the three of them.' Consort Shi monologued inwardly.

Just like before, Fang Yin seemed hesitant to tell her about Cau Ahlin to mom and dad. Jian Heng helped him to start the conversation.

The news brought by Fang Yin was quite shocking. Concubine Shi was slightly shocked the first time she heard it. Given Fang Yin's severe state of return, Consort Shi thought that Emperor Gu's other sons were extremely ruthless.

What Fang Yin feared had never come true. His mother did not want to allow Fang Yin to meet him again. If Cau Ahlin was given the chance to stay in the human world then it was certain that he would make a mess.

Emperor Xi and Jian Heng were relieved to hear that. However, they caught the sad look on Tian Feng's face. As for what the cause was, only Tian Feng himself knew. It was possible that he felt pity to see Gu's blood flowing on the spirit beasts that could not stay with them.

Their conversation about Cau Ahlin did not continue. The atmosphere became silent as they dissolved in each other's minds. The drinks and cakes served by the waiter were untouched as their appetite suddenly disappeared.

Fang Yin's feelings calmed down even more after revealing the story of a piece of his father's past. They separated and returned to their respective residences to rest.

Jian Heng accompanied Fang Yin in his room. Although the matter was not heavy, he knew that right now Fang Yin was in need of someone to be on his back.

Jian Heng was lying on the floor with his head placed on Fang Yin's lap. Fang Yin's hand gently stroked her hair and occasionally played it.

"Yin'er!" call Jian Heng.

"Hm."

"If we get married I want to have many children" Jian Heng said.

Fang Yin stopped his hand swab. His eyeballs were perfectly rounded when Jian Heng started discussing about family relationships.

"What's Brother Heng talking about? You think giving birth is easy. Not to mention raising small children. Huh, I can't imagine." Fang Yin exhaled a rough breath.

Jian Heng got up from his sleep then sat down facing Fang Yin and looked at him so deeply.

"Looking at your pretty face I can't think clearly. There's nothing I want to do but think about the time we'll always spend after marriage. I don't want to let you sleep well." Jian Heng said his heart.

"Sister Heng!" fang Yin exclaimed softly.

They went through the day full of romance. Although still equally embarrassed, the occasional Jian Heng had dared to give a kiss to Fang Yin.

It was not too late yet but black clouds filled the skies of the Eastern Continent. The thunder of lightning striking the lightning spread made that afternoon feel gripping.

According to the ancient science of astronomy, the rainy season should not yet come. Fang Yin thought that this was not a symptom of ordinary nature.

"Let's look outside, Yin'er." Jian Heng got up then helped Fang Yin stand up.

They walked out through the door and saw a dark cloud above the palace sky. There was nothing they could do to overcome this because natural phenomena occurred not because of their power.

"I want to go to the astrology room. There we can see the forecast of seasons and events that may occur every year. If it is true that the rainy season will arrive then we better change the economic strategy that we apply in the future." Fang Yin tried to think about this matter.

Jian Heng accompanied him to the astrology room which was in the central part of the palace. On his left right was the library and the education center of the nobles.

They arrived at the locked room. To open it requires a special token. Fang Yin called out to a bodyguard and asked him to bring him a starter room unlock token.

Jian Heng and Fang Yin waited for the bodyguards in front of the door. Guan Xing who kept everything related to the palace. If he was not in place then the bodyguards would return empty-handed.

"Are we going to get an answer about this phenomenon here Yin'er?" jian Heng asked curiously.

"I think so. This was my first experience coming to the astrology room. There was actually an old hermit who lived behind the palace. People always come to him to see the future and his predictions are much evident" Fang Yin told the publication.

"Have you been there?" jian Heng asked.

Fang Yin shook his head.

Jian Heng did not think out with that fiancee of his. He gave her only half the information. He should have learned what he was going to say before he told anyone else.

In the distance, the bodyguards given orders by Fang Yin came over to them. As they thought, he had come empty-handed if Guan Xing was not in place.

"For Your Majesty. Master Guan Xing was nowhere to be seen. I can't bring the token for you." The bodyguard regretted his failure but he really could not do anything about it.

"Go back to work!" Fang Yin did not want to prolong this matter considering this was not his fault.

"Okay, Your Majesty."

The bodyguards returned to their duties leaving behind Fang Yin and Jian Heng who were still standing there.

Jian Heng thought what if Fang Yin and himself went to see the old hermit and asked what was really going on at this time. Although he himself was unsure but there was no solution he had thought of other than this.

"Yin'er, what if we go to the back of the palace to meet the old hermit you just told me about? It's possible that we'll find a solution to this phenomenon." Jian Heng started to speak.

"I think so too. Let's go!"

Not wanting to provoke the curiosity of others, Fang Yin and Jian Heng chose to use teleportation techniques to go there. They left quickly without being noticed by anyone.

Fang Yin and Jian Heng descended in front of the temple where the hermit lived. There were some disciples there who were walking while carrying water jars and firewood. They are on average teenagers and young people.

"Little sister, may I ask you a question?" fang Yin asked one of them.

The boy carrying firewood stopped. He released his pikulan then spun around approaching Fang Yin. The unfamiliar faces of Fang Yin and Jian Heng made him stare at the two for so long.

"Come," he answered later.

"Thank you. We want to ask if the old hermit grandfather still lives in this temple? We wanted to meet him," Fang Yin said revealing his purpose of coming to the place.

"Oh, so so. Come with me." The boy again carried the firewood and then walked ahead of Fang Yin and Jian Heng.

They passed a path and a large courtyard. The simple temple looked clean and beautiful. The small flower garden around the temple is well preserved.

An old grandfather was sitting cross-legged in front of a worship altar. The smell of incense spread throughout the room and was smelled in the distance. Despite being focused, he remained aware of the arrival of Fang Yin and Jian Heng.

The old hermit got up from his seat and walked over to Fang Yin and Jian Heng. He looked at the two with a mysterious look. They were shocked and could not believe their arrival there.

In order to maintain his manners, Fang Yin and Jian Heng removed his footwear upon entering the place consecrated by its adherents. They saluted the old hermit and mentioned his name.

The old hermit was now completely convinced that the two people before him were the current rulers of the Eastern Continent. A different attitude to the one displayed by Emperor Ning who often came to him a while ago.

"You're too polite to a little person like a servant, Your Majesty. Let's go in." The old hermit invited Fang Yin and Jian Heng to sit down before him. They looked at each other when the old hermit grandfather knew their status.

"Rephermit grandfather, sorry to bother you. We felt something strange about the phenomenon that happened today. Can we find out if this is a common natural symptom or a sign, Cake?" jian Heng asked representing Fang Yin.

The old hermit grandfather looked at Fang Yin and Jian Heng in turn. He saw something interesting about both. Both Fang Yin and Jian Heng had extremely incredible radiance of energy.

"I also feel that there is something strange about this phenomenon. We'll look at it and understand what's really going on." The hermit grandfather took out a mirror and placed it before the three of them.

At a glance the mirror was the same as a mirror that ordinary people had. The difference may be in the smaller size of the mirror in general.

The old hermit began to cast a spell and made the mirror give off a very bright light. The light from the mirror bounces off the wall of the dark room. On the wall that was hit by the mirror reflection appeared a shadow that described the situation in the land of the Eastern Continent.

There is a phenomenon that is happening right now. The image darkened and then began to reappear another image where hundreds of dragons attacked the Empire of the Eastern Continent. Fang Yin recognized one of them, Cau Ahlin.

The dragons moved violently and destroyed everything they passed. The Imperial capital of the Eastern Continent was burned by the flames that gushed from the attacks of the dragons.

Fang Yin and his army attempted to stop their attack. However, things are already chaotic. There is so much damage caused by this chaos, as well as the casualties caused by it.

In the attack many dead Fang Yin troops. Some of them are members of his family who did not succeed in conquering Cau Ahlin.

That terrifying shadow made Fang Yin and Jian Heng feel fear. It was simply inconceivable that the capital they had just remodeled would have to be destroyed in an instant. This event was a heavy blow to him even though in the end the battle was won.

The old hermit could not read the next prophecy and stopped the spell he was reading. The light on the divination mirror began to dim and then disappeared. The old hermit opened his eyes and saw the anxiety on Fang Yin and Jian Heng's faces.

"Old man, will this prophecy come true?" jian Heng asked.

"A prophecy can happen and it can't happen it seems like the leader of the dragons has a bad purpose they want to rule the Empire of the Eastern Continent."

Fang Yin gasped at the words of the old hermit. If bad events can be prevented then he is willing to do anything to prevent it. Every event has a cause. Fang Yin thought of how to prevent the events in the prophecy from becoming reality.

"Old man, do you have a way to solve this problem?" ask Fang Yin.

The old man seemed to be thinking. The wrinkles on his face grew even more as he frowned and thought. Her age that was no longer young made her forget some basic things that she should not have forgotten.

"There's an ancient record of how to prevent an event that hasn't happened yet but I don't know where that record is. I felt that the invading dragons did not come from this world. To prevent attacks from other dimensions we can use the four-way wind formation."

The explanation of the old hermit made Fang Yin and Jian Heng look at each other. They were no strangers to this formation since they had heard of it.

"We'll figure out a way to lock a dimension with the four-way formation technique of the windshield. I know who's behind this attack." Fang Yin spoke confidently.

"Remain, Your Majesty. This phenomenon was an early sign of their arrival. The events will happen in less than three days from now" explained the old hermit.

"What?" the cries of Fang Yin and Jian Heng almost went together.

This shocking news made Fang Yin and Jian Heng unable to remain silent any longer there. He must act immediately before the terrible events in the prophecy come true.

They immediately appealed to the hermit grandfather and gave gifts in the form of gold coins to help the construction of the temple and the cost of living of its inhabitants.

"Yin 'er. We have to tell this to Dad and the others. They had experience of the four-way cardinal formation technique." Jian Heng gave a suggestion.

"Hmm," Fang Yin nodded.
