Cultivation Goddess
Chapter 44. Who's Uncle Xi?

Xiao Chen walked over to his parents and stood beside them.

Jian Heng clenched his right hand and fused it with his left palm saluting the Xiao family. Fang Yin who was still surprised was a little late doing the honors following Jian Heng.

"Honor to us, Elder Yu deigns to stop by our humble cottage," Mister Xiao replied to Jian Heng and Fang Yin's respects.

"I also feel very excited to get such a warm welcome from this family. I'm sorry I came with a friend to fulfill Mr. Xiao's invitation," Jian Heng said in courtesy before bringing Fang Yin inside with him.

"We don't mind you bringing a friend. Come on in, sir. We are very pleased with both of you." Master Xiao invited Jian Heng and Fang Yin to enter the house.

Xiao Chen smiled happily as his teacher was willing to pay a visit to his house. This would be a proud story when he returned to the Nine Star Sect where he had been studying. He was sure his friends would definitely feel extremely envious if they knew Elder Yu was coming to his house.

Master Xiao brought Jian Heng and Fang Yin inside the house and sat down in a room. The five of them sat around a medium-sized table containing several dishes neatly served there. The smell of food that is so fragrant makes their stomach feel hungry and want to eat it immediately.

Madam Xiao took food for Mister Xiao and Jian Heng. However he did not take any food for Fang Yin and allowed him to take it himself. It had already been seen that Madam Xiao did not like Fang Yin.

Jian Heng helped Fang Yin pick up food that was unreachable by him. Jian Heng's attention attracted the curiosity of Master Xiao and Madam Xiao. According to the story Xiao Chen his teacher was single and not involved in an arranged marriage with a woman.

They were wondering about Fang Yin's figure which they thought was extremely frightening. His strange and different appearance from most girls made a mysterious impression increasingly. The three of them took turns to look at Fang Yin and Jian Heng who looked calm enjoying the dinner dishes they were serving.

After finishing dinner, Mr. Xiao asked the two guests to move to the other table to chat.

"Mr Xiao, we thank you very much for the delicious meal you gave," Jian Heng said in a statement thanking Mr. Xiao.

Fang Yin lowered his head to hide his face because Mr. Xiao had been seen watching him since.

'This man is really very similar to Mr. Xi. Are they twin brothers? Then why do they live in a different place with a considerable distance. And one more, if they knew each other and communicated, Xiao Chen should have studied at the Seven Star Academy and not at the Nine Star Sect.' Various questions popped into Fang Yin's mind and made him unable to keep up with Jian Heng and Mister Xiao's chat.

"Chairman Yu, sorry if I was presumptuous to ask. Is this Miss your relative?" mister Xiao asked as he pointed at Fang Yin.

Feeling himself questioned, Fang Yin looked at Jian Heng with an incomprehensible look.

"really. He was a distant relative who happened to meet here because he both wanted to obtain the Holy Dragon Qi," Jian Heng lied.

For the sake of protecting Fang Yin he was willing to create a fake story that could have made his name come along. Jian Heng did not care, after all no one knew also his true identity. It could be said, Fang Yin and Jian Heng both went undercover to hide their identities.

"Oh, so so. I can't see your resemblance because Miss's face is covered by her veil." Mister Xiao nodded in confidence to Jian Heng's words.

Xiao Chen and his mother came to join after cleaning up the remnants of their dinner.

"Dad! I heard Uncle Xi is on a mission near here. Maybe tomorrow he'll come here!" yu Xiao Chen shouted at his father.

The deg!

Fang Yin's heart was pounding when he heard Xi's name being mentioned by Xiao Chen.

'What Xiao Chen meant was my foster father, Mr. Xi Liang.'

"Oh, yes! Where did you get this news?" ask Mr. Xiao.
