Cultivation Goddess

Cultivation Goddess
Chapters 12. Ostracized

Unlike usual, today the elders gathered in the courtyard with all the students in the academy who only numbered twenty.

All the disciples saluted the seven elders.

Fang Yin searched for Mr. Xi's figure but was no longer there. Apparently last night he did not stay over and went straight home from this academy after handing it over to Elder Song. Everything felt very foreign to Fang Yin.

The bright morning atmosphere made Fang Yin able to clearly see the entire building in the academy. From the building alone he could judge if this academy was indeed devoted to the nobility. Then her? An adopted daughter of a nobleman who was her former slave.

The nineteen disciples who were there whispered to each other while glancing at Fang Yin with dislikeful gazes. After Fang Yin went to his room, apparently there was a disciple who eavesdropped on the conversation between Master Xi and elder Song telling him the origin of Fang Yin. The Murud knew that Fang Yin was not Lord Xi's biological daughter but rather the slave she had raised to be her daughter.

Not yet finished hearing the follow-up story from Master Xi, he saw an elder suddenly coming in the distance and made the disciple hurriedly leave from his place eavesdropping.

Elder Song asked Fang Yin to come forward and introduce herself to his friends. Officially starting today Fang Yin became a disciple of the Seven Star Academy.

"Include my name, Xi Xiao Yin. Greetings to the elders and thank you for accepting me to be a student at this academy. For seniors, please guide him."

All of Fang Yin's friends kept looking down on him despite wearing the Xi clan in front of his name because they knew who Fang Yin really was.

All looked at Fang Yin with lazy gazes as he returned to the line.

Today the first lesson for Fang Yin began. The twenty disciples were divided into five groups of four each. The three friends of Fang Yin who were in a group with him looked indifferent to him.

Elder An who became the mentor of Fang Yin's group today, brought them to a place that was outside of the academy.

The five of them walked to a spacious place in the foothills which was about a kilometer away from the academy.

The three friends of Fang Yin who were the descendants of a noble, felt exhausted walking before starting his practice. Unlike Fang Yin who was already used to doing heavy things while being a slave in Mr. Xi Liang's place, his body still looked fit without getting tired in the least.

"Hey, look at him." a disciple with red hanfu pointed at Fang Yin with his chin.

"Why?" ask the student who wears the white hanfu.

"He did not feel tired and instead warmed up," replied the red-haired disciple.

"Obviously he doesn't feel tired, he's a slave who works all the time" said the student, who wears bluish hanfu.

Fang Yin stopped his movements when he heard the words that made his ears hot.

'How do they know I'm a slave? So their attitude is like that because they know the difference in status between us. Did Master Xi say it?' Fang Yin clenched his hands restraining emotions.

Fang Yin felt misunderstood and considered that Mr. Xi Liang did not sincerely love him as a child. He thought that Mr. Xi sent him to this academy in return for saving his son's life.

'After I graduated from this academy, I no longer need to go home to Mr. Xi's villa. I'm quite aware of my position. I better focus on strengthening myself and avenging my revenge.' Fang Yin's eyes were filled with hatred.

Elder An called his four disciples and gave them a sword. Again the three disciples were astonished when they saw that Fang Yin's small hand did not mind holding the large sword. They thought a woman would not be able to hold a sword.

'I can't show my skills right now. I don't care if they'll think of me as a trash slave.' Fang Yin played his sword and swung it to make a wrong move and did not match what Elder An had taught him.

The three friends laughed at him, but not Elder An. Although Fang Yin's movements were not the same as the ones he had taught. However, Fang Yin had great power to swing his sword.

'It looks like this kid has a huge amount of power and he purposely hid it for the sake of a mission. I have to be careful and keep an eye on him.' Elder An was able to sense Fang Yin's strength from his sword movements.

In order to convince himself that he had not misjudged, Elder An had his disciples practice pouring Qi into the sword and then attack him with it.

Fang Yin poured his Snow Cloud Qi into his sword. Fang Yin's sword gleamed and emitted a bright white-colored radiance. The chill felt around the place where he was standing right now as an effect of his Snow Cloud Qi.

At the cultivation level that reached this sky energy realm had a freezing nature. Fang Yin did not expect that he had currently reached the early star celestial realm.

'May elder An not know with this type of energy.' Fang Yin hoped for something impossible.

Elder An was seen staring at Fang Yin intensely.

'This kid is really scary. His talent was truly outstanding despite being only fifteen years old.' Elder An sensed that Fang Yin's strength was not only limited to what he released.

In anticipation for no one to get hurt, Elder An did not give a fellow disciple fighting practice.

Fang Yin got his last turn in the attacking practice with his teacher. Unlike when training his three friends, now Elder An asked Fang Yin to slightly move away from his friends. His goal was only one, Elder An wanted Fang Yin to show his true abilities.

Fang Yin's long hair fluttered as it was blown by the caressing wind. He began to put up the horses to prepare to face Elder An. Fang Yin looked at his three companions in the distance and made his heart feel indecisive.

"No need to hesitate! They won't see your action. I can keep a secret."

The words of Elder An made Fang Yin startled. It turned out to be true to his guess, Elder An had already read his strength from the qi energy he had released from his sword.

"Okay, Elder."

This time Fang Yin did not play around anymore and displayed the sword technique he mastered from the Book of Nine Dragons. An Agata does not know if it is very dangerous to show the moves of the book. He would be the target of cultivators who wanted the Book of the Nine Dragons.

"Xiao Yin! Where did you learn this?" ask Elder An in between their fight.

Fang Yin looked puzzled to answer.

"No need to answer if you don't want to answer. My message is one. Don't you show me this style or the moves you learned from the Book of the Nine Dragons before you were in heaven."

"Okay, Elder."

Fang Yin did not know the meaning of Elder An's message, but looking around his intentions were very good even though he delivered it like a puzzle.

Elder An immediately ended his training and brought the four of them back to the academy.

In his silence, Elder An kept thinking about Fang Yin's true origin. Not everyone had the opportunity to study the scattered Book of the Nine Dragons. If I don't remember wrongly, the sword style Fang Yin used came from the third part of the Book of Nine Dragons.

The three friends of Fang Yin looked lackluster when they reached the academy. They were asked to come together again because there was a new disciple. Given that it was very hot weather they gathered in a hall.

Apparently there was another new student who came to the academy to study.

Elder Song as the guidance teacher and the principal began to speak. In his short speech, Elder Song was straight to the point of introducing King Hao Yu.

Fang Yin was grateful because of Hao Yu's presence, he got the new room he stayed in with Hao Yu alone. Similar to the other rooms, Fang Yin's new room had two beds that made them comfortable.

Hao Yu's attitude was different from the three friends Fang Yin had met before. In other words, King Hao Yu invited Fang Yin to make friends. Hao Yu did not care about Fang Yin's origin which he thought was unclear.
