Fang Yin stepped slowly closer to Third Concubine, while Shi Han Wu walked closer to Shi Jun Hui and Yu Ruo. Jian Heng stood up pecking and looked at them with mixed feelings. Her face felt warm burning with novelty that made her chest feel narrow.
"Yin'er, are you this? Are you really my daughter?" The Third Concubine glazedly looked at Fang Yin's face.
The height of Fang Yin's body had surpassed that of concubine Shi so she slightly looked up to look at him. It had been many years that they had not met so it brought about a physical change for Fang Yin.
Fang Yin could only nod. Suddenly his heart became weak and speechless. His heart was filled with joy and happiness.
"May I take off your face?" Concubine Shi wanted to see the face of the princess he so missed.
Fang Yin nodded back. After this he can close it if he doesn't want people out there to see it.
Shi Yu Jie let out a hysterical scream as he looked at Fang Yin's face. Cry broke. He immediately hugged her tightly. They both cry in joy.
All who are there dissolve in the heat. Shi Han Wu and Shi Jun Hui hugged each other. They are now reunited. For a moment they forgot their surroundings, letting go of the longing between them.
Jian Heng was also happy with this meeting. Fang Yin had always lived alone. Like her, they both have families but are separated. However, both have different goals.
After a while, Fang Yin only recalled Jian Heng's whereabouts there. He immediately looked towards her. This was the first time for him to show his face without any cover in front of him. With a timid face he looked at Jian Heng with mixed feelings.
Jian Heng's heart was beating very fast. Fang Yin's face looked even prettier than he had imagined. The painting he made was not comparable to his real face. His body did not touch the ground.
"Third Prince. I'm sorry I hid my face and my identity from you. Maybe after this I will cover my face again until my goal is achieved. There's still a lot of things I need to finish."
Fang Yin stood before Jian Heng full of regret. Although she did not intend to lie to him, but she felt the need to apologize.
"I don't blame you for this, Yin'er. It doesn't matter if you cover your face. I admit you're pretty, but that's not all that makes me like you."
Fang Yin rounded his eyes hearing Jian Heng's words. He had not expected that Jian Heng would dare to say it in front of everyone. He could not dodge any more after this because everyone had heard everything from Jian Heng's own mouth.
"Third Prince, you're being too forthright. Can't you just say this when we're alone?" Fang Yin grimaced as he glanced towards his mother and family.
They smiled looking at the misbehaving Fang Yin. They wanted to laugh but were afraid of offending Jian Heng even though the laughter was an expression of their happiness.
In the corner of the room was a girl staring enviously at them. His fellowship with Jian Heng for these few days grew seeds of feelings in his heart. He did not expect that the man he was after liked someone else.
'My heart is full of happiness today. Whatever I'm going to face tomorrow, I'm more prepared.' Fang Yin looked at Jian Heng feelingly.
After their hearts calmed down a bit and their longs were taken care of, they sat down together to talk about the problem. Patriarch Shi Hung Lan explained what happened to the Shi Clan. As a leader he has been trying to walk the path of peace with the glacier tribes. However, all of them were unsuccessful despite having met for several times.
Glacier tribes want the heritage of ice tribe ancestors and feel if they are more entitled to have it. In fact they came from one common ancestor before splitting into two tribes.
The ice tribe had survived in this place since the beginning whereas the glacier tribe had left their ancestors and gone to the Northern Continent. Both have the same type of Qi although the development of the style and technique is different from each other.
Fang Yin listened to the story from Patriarch Shi carefully. It seems very difficult to find a middle ground between the two sides. For several days they always attacked at night.
Patriarch Shi showed several injured members of the Shi Clan. That was why they were inside the same cottage to avoid the survivors being separated from the group.
Shi Jun Hui felt amazed at the ability of his grandson that had surpassed the medicinal science he had. Previously there had been several members of the Shi Clan killed, as well as a glacier tribe. Both sides lost many of their members.
A small child crying made Fang Yin come over to him. He thinks the boy is hurt. There were about five children there and the rest were adults.
'I am counting wrong. It turned out that there were around fifty people here.' Fang Yin scratched his head feeling stupid. He did not know if in fact their numbers were only around his twenties when he counted and increased after. They went out to pick up their belongings and bring the remaining groceries in their homes.
"Why is she crying?" fang Yin asked the parents of the child.
"He's feeling hungry. Our groceries were thinning so we agreed to eat one meal a day only," explained the mother of the child.
Fang Yin glanced towards Jian Heng as if asking for clarity. It was impossible if Jian Heng did not have a solution to this. At least he must have brought a little food.
"Don't blame Young Master Xi, Miss. He's already given us all his supplies."
Patriarch Shi came approaching the woman in great anger. He felt that the woman had gone too far by calling a princess and prince master and lady.
"You must maintain your manners. They are princesses and princes. Don't call them with a call to an ordinary noble." Patriarch Shi could not hold himself back.
The woman looked frightened and clutched tightly to her sobbing daughter. The little boy cried without a sound and buried his face in his mother's chest.
"Don't scare a child, Patriarch Shi. It doesn't matter with this call because right now I don't have the standing of a princess either."
"I'm sorry, Your Majesty. Servants have no intention of demeaning and being disrespectful, Your Majesty." The woman prostrated at Fang Yin's feet.
The rumors were so cruel that everyone believed that Fang Yin was not the daughter of Emperor Gu but the biological daughter of General Wang Jiang. The news also reached the ears of the ice tribe. They believed that the news was not true even though there were a few people who were hesitant.
"Forgetit! I don't blame anyone who doubts me and my mother but I have hard evidence that shows that I am a direct descendant of Emperor Gu. If the time comes, I will present the evidence before the whole world." The look in Fang Yin's eyes showed a furious grudge and fury.
Although the ice tribe was silent but Fang Yin felt sure there must be some parties who believed in the rumors. Not wanting to extend the matter any longer, he immediately turned to talking about the dwindling logistical affairs.
"I'm going to go find food. Don't be afraid of hunger. I'll be right back." Fang Yin prepared to leave the place.
"I will go with you," said Jian Heng not wanting to part from Fang Yin anymore.
"I want to go with you too." A girl came closer before Fang Yin and Jian Heng.
Fang Yin frowned and glanced towards Jian Heng. 'What have I missed?'
