"I met up with his men on the road near the forest this morning," Xiao Chen explained.
Mr. Xiao nodded.
"It seems like the night is getting late. We implore ourselves to return to the inn" said Jian Heng.
"Thank you for the visit, Elder Yu. If you have time please come back here again. The door of this house is always open for you." Mr. Xiao saluted.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Xiao. If there is another chance, I will definitely visit here. Tomorrow morning I will have to go back on the journey," Jian Heng replied as he saluted.
Fang Yin followed up saluting without saying a word.
Mister Xiao, Madam Xiao and Xiao Chen escorted them to their doorstep.

Jian Heng returned the wave while smiling at Xiao Chen.
Fang Yin and Jian Heng stepped from the courtyard of Xiao Chen's house towards the road. But their steps suddenly had to stop when they passed by some people who came riding horses. Apparently they had indeed come towards Xiao Chen's house.
Their faces were only visible when the light of the lanterns installed in front of Xiao Chen's house illuminated them when it was close before Fang Yin and Jian Heng.
Fang Yin rounded his eyes when he saw one of the troupe.
"Master Xi!" cry Fang Yin with trembling lips.
Jian Heng turned his head towards Fang Yin with a look of astonishment. From where Fang Yin knew this person who was very similar to Mister Xiao.
"Xiao Yin! Is that you?!" asked Master Xi in a slightly raised tone.
Fang Yin did not feel a father's affection from Master Xi's gaze as when he had ushered him away to the Seven Star Academy a while ago.
A nod represented Fang Yin's lips to answer her foster father's question.
"I got you into Song's academy to make me proud, but what have you done? You made the entire academy fall apart because of you!" Master Xi's speech felt like a loud slap for Fang Yin.
I don't know what kind of story Elder Song had concocted that made Master Xi so angry with him.
Fang Yin did not say a word to answer the words issued by his adoptive father. Not because I dare. Yet he did so out of curiosity as to what caused him to become so angry.
"I didn't expect you to poison your own friends so much that feeling hurt in them always ignored you!"
Fang Yin glared at Master Xi's remark. This time he could no longer remain silent. He has to prove his innocence and that is slander.
Maybe Elder Song wants there to be a split between Master Xi and Fang Yin. He wanted Mr. Xi to punish Fang Yin with this slander because he was sure Fang Yin would definitely refute him.
"Master Xi! So easily do you believe the fake stories made by the old man!" yang Yin Excited.
"Be polite to your teacher even if you are dishonorably expelled from there!" hardik Mr. Xi.
"What?! Hmm! You have been cheated by him. I think a father will trust his son more than anyone else. I graduated from the academy a few weeks ago and it was Elder Song who officially let go as the most talented student!" Fang Yin tried to tell her what she really believed or did not believe in him.
"I'm not stupid, Xiao Yin! It would take at least a year for a genius student to complete his education. You haven't been there for half a year. It's as good as you can finish your education there in just a few months." Master Xi smiled mockingly at his adopted daughter.
Fang Yin ventured to walk up to Mr. Xi until they were within a very close distance.
Mr. Xi got off his horse and handed the horse to his men.
They looked at each other and felt that he was right.
