Cultivation Goddess

Cultivation Goddess
Chapters 115. Continuing Mission

The Old Chief stood in front of the stone door where they had entered earlier.

His hand went forward with an open palm.

As the Old Chief's palm touched the stone wall, a circular spell seal was seen with a burning symbol.

The old chief twisted the seal clockwise with the energy he was flowing on his palm.

After the spell seal spun rapidly, the Old Chief released his hand and moved back a few steps.

The stone door opened again.

'So this room is also protected with a spell seal. That means that not everyone can see its existence or enter it.' Sect Chief monologued in heart.

The three of them came out of the room from inside the room passing through a dark room illuminated by the Old Chief's energy balls that were still left there.

"You go up first!" exclaim Old Chief.

Sect Chief and Fang Yin walked up through the stone stairs that led them out of the basement.

The Old Chief made a protective seal so that no one could carelessly open the room even though they managed to twist the jar embedded in the center of the room.

Fang Yin and the Sect Chief were still standing waiting for the Old Chief to finish planting the seal.

The three of them returned to the hut where they had chatted earlier after the pill-making was complete.

"What are your plans after this, Yin'er?" asked the Old Chief to break the silence between the three of them.

"Finishing the book I learned and then looking for the next book, Father," Fang Yin replied with confidence.

The Sect Chief's face looked puzzled not knowing what scripture Fang Yin and his father were talking about. He looked towards Fang Yin and the Sect Chief in turn.

"It's all because of the support of Feng's father and brother, too" Fang Yin said, uniting his hands to the father and son.

The Old Chief's heart warmed when he heard Fang Yin summon the Sect Chief as elder brother.

"I think I missed something. What book do you mean?" The Sect Chief finally could not bear to ask.

The Old Chief looked at Fang and wondered inwardly. He did not know if Fang Yin had not had time to tell him or perhaps it was Fang Yin deliberately to keep it a secret from the Sect Chief.

"I'm on a mission to study the Book of the Nine Dragons, Brother Feng."

Fang Yin's remark made the Sect Leader surprised. He did not expect that his adopted sister was on such a big mission.

'It is only fitting that I see the Dragon Goddess mark on her back. Maybe Yin'er is indeed the chosen one who will get the gift. I hope Yin'er can control that great power in the future.' The admiration of the Sect Chief on Fang Yin was getting even more friendly.

He was trying to control his heart and mind so as not to fall in love with the extremely talented girl.

"I'll keep the mission a secret and everything I know about you, Yin'er. This cultivation world is extremely cruel. Be careful in choosing friends later," said the Sect Chief.

"I'll always remember your message, brother." Again Fang Yin paid his respects to the Sect Chief.

"In our hands, your identity will be safe. Let no one know about your background. Many people want your death out there," added the Old Chief.

"I understand, Dad! Allow me to go finish the book I'm studying after this." Fang Yin was already impatient to continue absorbing the Nine Dragons Book he had borrowed from Jian Heng.

'I want to try this secret pill immediately.' Fang Yin smiled excitedly behind his veil.
