The Old Chief was even more moved when he saw the daughter of his best friend bowing respectfully before him.
"Luck will always be with you. Awake up!" exclaiming the Old Chief felt that he had now felt the familiarity he felt when he was with Prince Gu.
Fang Yin re-enforced his body and sat down like before.
"Fang Yin begs forgiveness for the lies Fang Yin did." Fang Yin's confession was responded casually by the Old Chief.
She had already paid no attention to that and considered Fang Yin as her adopted daughter as well.
"Forget it all, Yin'er! Think of me as your father. I wonder what your plans are after this. It's not that I don't like you to continue to be here but I'm not sure if you will experience much improvement if you continue to be in this place."
What the Old Chief said was just like what Fang Yin had in mind these few days.
They seem to have a very strong bond.
"I've only been thinking about that for a few days, Chief. My existence here has a purpose which is to learn a book from someone. A very important book for me corresponds to my father's message through this thought at the time of his death."
The Old Chief tried to understand the meaning of Fang Yin's words.
"What do you mean is the Nine Dragons Book?' The Old Chief guessed.
Not surprised anymore. Fang Yin immediately answered the Old Chief's question confidently.
"I was studying the book and felt it was too long. During the six months of being in this place I had only completed half of it. I felt further and further away from my goal and also felt bored," Fang Yin said honestly.
"There's a pill that can speed it all up, but it's a little hard to find the ingredients needed to make it."
Fang Yin's eyes twinkled happily at the Old Chief's words. A glimmer of hope appeared and made him return excited.
"Fang Yin would be very grateful if the Chairman would be willing to share that recipe with me." Fang Yin again fused his fist in front of his chest.
The Old Chief opened his right hand and a scroll appeared there.
"It is with great pleasure that I will give it to you on one condition," the Old Chief looked at Fang Yin with a serious look.
"Condition?" Fang Yin's smile faded as the Old Chief put forward a condition before giving the scroll to him.
A knot smile adorned the face of the Old Chief when he saw his best friend's daughter look disappointed.
"I'm sure you won't mind the terms I'm given. I just want you to call me 'Dad'!"
Fang Yin's originally slothful face was now raised again and looked towards the Old Chief with a look of disbelief.
"Dad!" fang Yin said softly.
"Repeat once more, Yin'er!"
"You call me that at all times and don't keep your own grief or anything, you can share it with me."
No power to answer anymore. As strong as Fang Yin she was still a woman who had a soft side in her even though it was a little because of the situation that turned her cruel.
Fang Yin shed tears after a long time of never feeling those clear spheres running down his cheeks.
"My daughter can't be whiny. Now take this!" The Old Chief gave the scroll to Fang Yin.
"Fang Yin thanked me, Father!" Fang Yin received the scroll while bowing respectfully.
"May I know to whom you learned the Book of the Nine Dragons?" ask the Old Chief.
"I don't dare to say it, Dad!" Fang Yin did not want to carelessly reveal who the owner of the book was even though of course the Old Chief knew if he was a person within the sect.
"The Book of the Nine Dragons is only owned by people who are very strong or have power. If you learn it here, of course he is here too. I'll keep it a secret, Yin'er. I just want to know."
Fang Yin felt confused to say it or not.
If what the Old Chief said was true, it meant that Jian Heng also had a non-playful background.
"It's worth it that he's so great," Fang Yin murmured softly but was still heard by the Old Chief.
The Old Chief looked at him with a smile, "I won't reprimand him or ask him this. Don't make your father die of curiosity."
"I ... I .. promised her to keep this a secret, Dad. You don't want your son to be someone who's disavowed, do you?"
The Old Chief nodded confirming what Fang Yin had said.
'If you don't want to say it, then I will find out in my own way, Yin'er.'
The Old Chief did not know who the owner of the book was because he thought that Fang Yin was staying in the dormitory like the other disciples.
Had he known if Fang Yin had stayed in Jian Heng's villa all this time, he would have known without having to ask Fang Yin.
"It's night. Join the others to rest!" exclaim Old Chief.
"Please keep the secret about myself!" fang Yin said before leaving the villa belonging to the Old Chief.
"You don't have to worry about that. Your secret is my life, Yin'er."
Fang Ying felt relieved and sauntered calmly leaving the place.
