"Hmm.. My favorite manga's latest chapter has been released" Darren said, looking at his computer.
"What's!? Can't be read online? Do I have to buy a manga with the book?" Darren Shouts. "Ah shit. I don't like going out. But what can I do."
Darren put on his training uniform and went out.
The hot, arid weather always accompanied him, considering that it was still the dry season.
Darren went on his motorcycle to the bookstore. The closest bookstore is located quite far from Darren's house.
Darren's subscription bookstore is located in the city's trading district. No wonder the journey took so long. If it is on foot, it may reach after two hours. But he had to hurry before he ran out of stock.
Rural and urban areas are bounded by a railway. Usually many people take the train to go to the eastern city, which is more advanced than the city near Darren's house.
"I will fight! To read the ending of my favorite manga!"
The sound of Darren's old motor belongs to his parents, which sounds like the sound of a tractor engine, breaking the desolate atmosphere of the countryside. Driving on the edge of a large field is fun.
"Maybe I have to get out of the house a lot. I didn't even know that driving could be this wise" Darren told him.
Many villagers passed by carrying their rice fields. Some use motorcycles and some use ox carts. Some were also seen using bicycles.
The sun is very hot, illustrating how severe the dry season is this year. But even so, it does not affect the harvest much. The farmers did not look troubled either.
Meanwhile, Darren was already sweating greatly. It rarely leaves the house, so it is also rarely faced with hot weather like this. He usually only stays in his room which is equipped with room cooling.
About thirty minutes away, Darren arrived at the bookstore. Once there, the shop was still quiet. Not many customers have come.
"It's a good thing I arrived sooner" Darren said proudly.
Without further ado, he immediately searched his target manga and paid for it on the spot.
"Finally! Last chapter I bought!" Shouts of excitement in front of the shop door.
Impatiently reading it, Darren immediately picked up his bike in the parking lot and drove home at high speed.
Det.. edet.. edet. He had to push her to the nearest workshop.
He had the acquaintance of the workshop owner near the railroad tracks. He might be able to stop by there and get a price cut.
After pushing his motorcycle, Darren arrived at his friend's workshop.
"Derwin," Call Darren to his friend Derwin. "This motor I put first huh. I'll take it tomorrow."
"Ready! Understood," Derwin replied as he gave his thumbs up.
Eager to go home and read the manga, Darren plans to return home by public transport. He did not want to read it in the workshop because the weather was too hot.
While waiting for public transport to pass by, Darren sat in a seat close to the train tracks. From far away, he could see a train speeding by.
Ding. ding.. ding. Darren watched the scene leisurely, accompanied by a breeze of the rice field.
Bruack!!! A motor that allegedly brakes blong, hit the barrier. An old granny was thrown off the bike and fell right on the tracks.
Everyone immediately shouted. They shouted at the granny to run away immediately, but the granny was already too weak to stand up. These people are too afraid to help.
Darren saw the incident. Spontaneously, he instantly calculated the possibilities.
"Seeing from the distance, the carriage was still a few hundred meters away from the grandmother."
"The speed of the carriage also began to slow down. Slower than the initial speed."
"My running speed isn't too bad either. At least I've won a short-distance race."
"So, if I run over and save that granny without even stopping a step, then there's a chance we could survive."
Without thinking any longer, Darren moved out of his chair. He ran quickly and saved my grandmother. While the train is getting closer.
The crowd of people watching the scene started screaming. They were shouting to warn Darren.
Darren made it to the grandmother. All he had to do now was hold the grandmother and take her away from the tracks.
Hap... Darren managed to hold the grandmother. But. he then realized. His leg was stuck in one of the woods.
"Damn, I'm in danger."
Darren could see the train approaching and he might die. This was the first time he was so close to death.
"So that's it, yeah. I'm gonna die."
"At least..." Darren said inwardly, "I will not die in vain!"
Spontaneously, Darren threw Grandma in his arms past the barrier.
The crowd is getting noisier. They yelled at Darren to run away immediately. But Darren's done it. He saw death before his eyes. This is already inevitable.
"I am grateful to be able to live in this world" Darren said his last words.

"Derwin, please send the bike to my parents."
"And tell them that I love them."
"I'm sorry I was such a useless kid. Always lock yourself up, and burden you."
"Farewell, everyone. It was never meant to be."
