Tora entered the tent with a slight breath of gasping. Shiro who was cooking greeted him.
"Ah, you're back," welcome Shiro.
"Hows it? Is there any good news?" Shiro asked again while putting a plate of food on the table.
"Eitherway. I don't know if it's good news or not" Tora replied as she ate her meal. "I don't understand what Esema-sama is thinking. He asked me to monitor the movement of the aid team from Friedlich, and now he's gone without telling me anything. He is a unique person"
"I thought so too" said Shiro. "Esema-sama is a mysterious person."
"But on the other hand, it's very good" Tora continued. "The way he treats me is very different from my old master. He always shared the things he had just learned, without even thinking about them."
"Yes. His attitude towards me was also much different from the humans I had met before" Shiro replied. "He was even willing to let me sleep on the bed, while he himself slept on the floor."
"Uhuk... uhuk..," Tora suddenly coughed at hearing that. "really?"
Shiro nodded. "I know it might be presumptuous for me. Animal humans shouldn't be treated like that."
Tora shook her head. "No, that's not true" he said. "You remember our first training?"
"Esema-sama said: As long as we are still working as his subordinates, we are all equal. No matter what race and tribe we are," Tora continued.
"Yes, I know. But, I feel bad for him," Shiro continued. "Compared as his subordinate, I instead felt that this was more in the direction he was taking care of us."
"Yes, that's right too. I didn't even do much work for him. But he took care of us and trained us without asking for anything in return."
"What is the purpose of taking care of us?" Connect Tora. "No-For now, I'm more curious about his plans to pursue Friedlich's army. Is he planning to attack them?"
"What's? No way," Shiro said. "He can't attack people without reason."
"Looks like you were right. Esema-sama is not the type of person who likes to fight just for fun. Especially when he finds out that the Emerald Green is the leader of his army," Tora said as she frowned. "He must have a bigger plan."
"What do you mean, the one he's after isn't Friedlich's army?" Ask Shiro.
"really. Friedlich's army was on its way to Europe. Maybe that's what prompted Esema-sama to move" Tora continued. "If I may know, does Esema-sama have any connection with the Kingdom of Europe?"
Shiro surprised. He recalled that Darren had told him about the Erobernesian attack on his village. Where all his friends died in the hands of the European General, Michael.
He begins to feel understood what Darren's goal is, but he must keep his master's identity. Especially from a genius like Tora.
"Ah.. I don't know either," Shiro replied with some hesitation.
"Hm. I see," replied Tora while taking a breath. "I actually thought that, perhaps Esema-sama's goal was not Friedlich's forces. Except where they go."
Shiro flinched upon hearing that. Even with just a little bit of information, Tora could make such an accurate conclusion. He must be very clever.
"Tora-kun. I need to be more careful when talking about Darren-sama in front of him. A little mispronunciation can make him suspicious." Shiro thought to himself.

After finishing her dinner, Tora and Shiro went out of the tent to sit by the campfire. There, they talked about their opinions on Darren.
"My opinion?" Shiro. "I think Esema-sama is very good. He saved me from the hands of the robbers and took care of me without asking for anything in return"
"He bought me new clothes, taught me magic, and gave me a proper place to live" Shiro said. "Then, what do you think Esema-sama is like?"
"I originally thought that Esema-sama was just a good person in the beginning. He offered me a deal, which at first I thought was just some kind of subterfuge to use me, like people," Tora replied. "But now I'm sure he's not that kind of person. Just like you, I was also well taken care of. Even he guaranteed my safety from the hands of my former Master."
"He's a unique person, huh?" Shiro.
"Yes, right," answered Tora. "He wants to talk about trivial things with his subordinates, which such things are rarely found anywhere else."
"I often even feel that he does not consider us as his subordinates. Rather, his friend," Tora said.
"Friends... yeah?" Said Shiro slowly.
"What's wrong? Don't you like being considered a friend?"
"No, it's not that. I just wish I wouldn't let him down as a subordinate, or a friend."
Tora smiled hearing that. In the depths of his own heart, Darren was like his savior. Of course he didn't want to disappoint her either.
"Yes, me too. I will try my best to make her satisfied, "Tora said excitedly. "Let's fight together!"

Meanwhile, Darren was on his way with Friedlich's soldiers. He suddenly sneezes for no reason.
"What's Esema-kun? Are you a cold?" Ask Akira.
"Ah, it's nothing" Darren replied as he rubbed his nose. "Something seems to be talking about me."
"I don't understand what you mean, but you seem to be fine" Akira replied. "We will soon be out of the mountains. You better prepare your weapons, because we're going through the Albtraum Forest."
"All right," said Darren. "Albtraum Forest. Where is the Lizardmen village. I might be able to stop by there for a second."
