Isekai No Gakusei: Students From Another World
Tayushsneg, the Dungeon of Death

Step by step, Darren and his friends walked from Friedlich to the Erfroren Mountains without using a vehicle.

After four hours of walking, they finally reached the foot of the mountains. A sharp chill started piercing their lungs.

Tomatsu had probably arrived at that dungeon from earlier. He is the master when it comes to troubling people. But maybe he has good intentions. It's just an exaggerated way.

"Tora, do you know the way?" Ask Darren.

Tora nodded. "Of course, Esema-sama. I once passed through the dungeon's entrance" he replied. "If it's not wrong, it should be this way."

They walked down a small road with two mountains standing on either side of the road. They walk right in the middle and it could be risky because the snow collected could fall at any time and become a landslide.

Darren is on standby for whatever happens. If the landslide really came down, then Darren was ready with his earth magic.

"Tora, are we close?" Asked Darren again after walking a bit far away.

"It has. We just need to pass through the mountain at the dep-" Tora stopped her sentence when she saw the avalanche had closed the road.

Many trees and heavy snow blocked the road, making it inaccessible. Their choice was to go back and take a detour.

"How is this, Esema-sama? Are we gonna take a detour?" Tora asked awaiting orders from Darren.

Darren shakes. "I'm tired of walking. My feet are sore" he answered. "I don't want to walk any further."

Tora continued, "Then, are you going to melt the snow with fire and open the way?"

Darren shook his head again. "No. It is very risky, considering there are two mountains that squeeze us" said Darren. "If we make a mistake, the snow on this side of the mountain will collapse."

This was unthinkable for Tora. He was amazed by how his Master could think one step ahead before doing anything.

"As I expect from you, Esema-sama. You're so great" Praise Tora.

Darren only replied with a knotty smile and then turned his face back towards that pile of snow.

"Earth Elemental: Geological Creation!"

Darren formed a small bridge made of stone through the avalanche. To ensure that no other landslides arise, he made two walls on each side of the road.

"Well, in this way we can pass," Darren said as he stared at the bridge.

Tora looked at Darren with admiration. Darren's always-double-thinking mindset and powerful magic power make him think of Darren as more than just an employer.

"Great."

The three of them finally reached the mouth of the dungeon. The door of the dungeon was already half open, signifying that someone might have already explored this place.

"It looks like Tomatsu has entered," Darren said as he peered into the dark dungeon, "We'll enter as well. Make sure you're careful."

The Dungeon was already famous among adventurers. Many adventurers disappeared inside the dungeon making the dungeon accept the name 'Tayushsneg". Although I don't know what that means.

Many rumors circulated that the dungeon was the home of a mystical creature that ate human souls. There are also those who say that there is a Demon King who lives in it even though it never shows itself.

But whatever the rumors, now this dungeon is almost never touched at all. Adventurer guilds also banned expeditions to reduce the number of casualties.

But Darren looks ordinary even though he also feels the choking air.

"Esema-sama, don't you feel any strange air?" Tora asked while feeling an overwhelming sense of goosebumps.

Darren simply replied flatly. "I feel it, but this kind of air won't work on people who've met kuntilanak and pocong."

Tracing the dungeon further, they began to realize that the longer, this dungeon was getting into the ground. The light is also getting minimal even though some lanterns are seen hanging on the side of the wall.

The gripping dark impression really adds to the haunted impression on the place. In addition, the melodious sounds produced by the blowing wind frightened them.

"Tora, you walk ahead" Darren said. He did not intend to run away out of fear, but because it was easier to keep an eye on them from behind.

Tora just nodded and obeyed her even though she was actually feeling a little scared.

Walking even deeper, now the light from outside was completely blocked. No more light came in and the place was pitch black. They could only rely on Tora's Night Vision magic.

"Non-elemental Spell: Night Vision!" Tora cast her spell.

Tora led the way, while Shiro in the middle and Darren stood guard from behind.

Darren was already preparing to take out his emerald sword in case danger really came.

But, while passing through a room, Darren's attention is distracted. He sees something there and approaches it without Shiro and Tora knowing.

"What'sthis? Bones?" Darren murmured while looking at the thing he noticed earlier. "But it doesn't look like human bones. Looks like this is boar bone."

"But, what's a boar doing in here? Isn't this place far from the forest?" Darren muttered again. "Again, Erfroren isn't a wild boar's natural habitat."

He scratched his finger at the bone.

"Cold. This bone was covered in ice, "He pulled his hand back. "It looks like this bone is very old, to the point that it freezes like this. The ice that covered it also felt unique."

Darren instantly woke up. The ice he held was no ordinary ice. It felt like ice produced from a spell.

He immediately stood up and ran out of the room. He rushes after Tora and Shiro to warn them about this, but...

By the time he left, the two friends were no longer there. It seems he was too cool himself and left behind.

"It's dangerous!" Her speech. "I must find them soon!"

Darren immediately cast his Thermography spell and searched for the two by looking through the wall.

But what he found surprised him even more.

"There are three heat sources?" He looked deep into the wall. "Have they met Tomatsu?"

But when he noticed again.

"Why do they look... are fighting!?"
