Isekai No Gakusei: Students From Another World

Isekai No Gakusei: Students From Another World
The Castle

Darren's daily activities have been busy since his move to the castle. After a week there, he worked as Schlaff's personal advisor.

When Darren first met the king, the king was immediately attracted to him. Because after being tested, Darren turned out to have broad insight in strategy and combat. So the King thought of putting Darren in the position of General's adviser.

Schlaff didn't seem to mind that either. In fact, he learned a lot from Darren's experiences. Yes, although in fact all Darren knows are some references that he has read from books in the world before.

"War is a serious thing. The impact depends on whether it's just a war and whether there's a wise military leadership in it" Darren tells Schlaff one of the pieces of knowledge he has. Sun Tzu's famous book, The Art of War.

"War also depends on geographical and weather conditions, distance and range of the battlefield. Organizing, logistics, and communication also play an important role."

Schlaff just nodded. He really studied under Darren's teachings. But sometimes it makes Darren feel weird.

"Parents like him being taught by a high school kid like me?"

Although he was busy, Darren still tried to set aside his time for personal affairs as well. Such as finding knowledge and intel. More intel on Erobernesia.

In the castle, there was a huge library. The contents of the books there provide almost all the knowledge in this world. This really helps Darren understand the condition of the world.

Sometimes he goes there to read to himself, and sometimes he invites Tora and Shiro. Interspersed by drinking tea with his subordinates and reading while enjoying the knowledge that has been provided.

Fresh tea with a peaceful feeling in his heart. Darren sometimes almost forgot about the revenge he had been chasing all along. But every night, a dream always commemorates her. It was as if he had to take that revenge.

He wanted to live happily ever after like this, but he remembered the philosophy in the anime he had seen.

"The sky will not always be blue. There will be a time when the storm hits. And when that happiness begins to fade, the smell of blood will be smelled."

Taps! Darren closed the book hard.

"What is Esema-sama? Are you leaving already?" Tora glanced at him while reading.

"It's not usually that you're done this fast" Shiro continued. "You're not feeling well?"

"Ah, no-no," Darren stood up from his chair while flexing his muscles. "I'm just tired of sitting in a chair. I'm gonna get some fresh air."

On the balcony of the castle, Darren saw how vast the Friedlich Kingdom was. The view of the neatly arranged houses and the sunset light that hit each building with grace.

"Warm," Darren spoke softly. "If my parents were by my side now. They'll be proud."

While enjoying the scene, Shiro suddenly approached her from behind.

"Esema-sama, are you okay?" She asked, "Last-lately I've seen you daydream. Are you thinking of something?"

Darren shook his head, which must have been a lie. "No, it's nothing. I'm fine."

Shiro scowled his face, as if realizing that Darren was lying.

"You lied, right?"

Darren shocked. "Ah, caught. Yeah." yeah."

"I've been with you long enough. Of course I'm watching you" Shiro replied.

Darren smiled as he raised his gaze. "You're a concern too" he praised.

Things get awkward for a moment. No more conversation between them. Shiro reopened the conversation.

Darren turned his head, waiting for the question to come out of Shiro's mouth.

"About my brother," Shiro continued. "Did he fight proudly by your side?"

Darren scrunched his eyes. "What do you mean?"

Shiro looked at Darren with a teary look. "Animal man will not fight with man unless he is his Master" Shiro replied. "Actually, what is your relationship with my sister?"

Darren retaliated. "We're just friends."

"Not Master and Slave?" Shiro Repeat.

Darren shakes.

Shiro breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank God then," He said softly, as a few drops of tears streamed down his cheek.

"Shiro..." Darren said slowly.

"Sister's death is not something to be mourned. If he dies with pride, then it's his own choice" Shiro said. "I'm sure you don't have any regrets."

Darren. "Are you sure you're not sad?" Ask Darren. "You're crying."

"Eh?" Shiro quickly wiped his tears. "T-no really. I'm not crying."

Darren smiled slightly at Shiro's behavior. "You're so tough huh. Shiro," Praise Darren. "I'm sure you can get stronger. Just like your brother wants."

Shiro smiled, but at the same time, he could no longer hold back his cries. Darren immediately hugged her and it made her feel better.

"Just take it out. Don't hold your cry" Darren said as he stroked Shiro's hair.

Shiro was crying on Darren's shoulder. It's embarrassing for him, but he can't stand it. He hasn't cried like this in a long time.

Although he was tortured, used, and also treated like garbage, but none of the above can make him cry.

"Esema-sama," Shiro said softly. "Thank you."

Darren smiles. "Yes, equally. If you have a problem, just come to me."

While Tora was in the library, she noticed the two of them from a distance. His face smiled slightly, looking at his Master who had a unique attitude.

"Esema-sama, you are very different," he said softly.

Just as Darren and Shiro were about to return from the balcony to the library, suddenly someone entered panting heavily. It turned out to be Fak.

"What's Fak?" Darren asked, as Shiro and Tora immediately stood up in shock.

"Veronheim!" Fak is still panting.

"What happened to Veronheim? What's wrong with Akira?" Darren asked in panic.

"Veronheim's under attack!"
