The Tomatsu Demon King

Step by step, Darren walked with Friedlich's troops through the steep cliffs of Erfroren. The air began to warm, indicating that soon they will come out of the cold mountain area.

Suddenly the whole team stopped. They were faced with a forked path, one to the right and one to the left.

"Captain, where are we going?" Ask one of the soldiers. "The road on the right is safer, but we have to go around this steep hill. While the road is on the left, we will go down a rather deep abyss. It's dark enough so there'll likely be monsters waiting, but our journey will be faster."

Akira began to look towards the hill in front of them. If you think about it, the hill might be three kilometers in diameter. Rotating it will take about a few days, depending on how fast the troops are moving.

"I think we better take the fast road" Darren said. He didn't want to wait long to see Michael.

"I agree with him" Akira continued. "We need to get to Europe quickly. The only thing chasing us is time. I'm sure the monsters there aren't a big deal."

Darren agreed.

They took the left road and began to descend a wide chasm.

"What's that?" Said the man while narrowing his eyes, looking deep into the ice.

The atmosphere was too dark, so the soldier took his torch and lit up the floor below with fire.

Unknowingly, the floor began to melt.

"Everything, find a safe place!" Shouted Akira as soon as he saw her.

All the soldiers started running, except for that one soldier. He stared at the ice without moving.

"Sir, get out of there!" Friend.

Darren laughed a little when he heard his name.

But Fak remained silent. He kept staring down regardless of the screams of his friends.

"Matur nuwun..., amarga sampeyan.. I can metu.. saka kunjara iki" Fak began to speak for himself. "Saiki I luwe.., sampeyan will nglegakake keluwenanku."

The soldiers did not understand what had happened to Fak, but they began to stand by. They took out their weapons and pointed them at Fak.

"Who are you? You're not Fak!" Shouted friend Fak.

"I'm Tomatsu, the king of the ice demons. Panguwasa absolute Kingdom of Erfroren," Reply Fak who began to move without direction like a puppet.

"What's he talking about?" Speak to one soldier to another. "It seems he speaks the language of the devil."

They were confused by what Fak was talking about.

While Darren just stood there shocked and astonished.

"This language, I think I've heard," murmured Darren, "This is Javanese. How can there be Javanese here?"

The soldiers are running out of options. They don't know who to deal with. The creature that possessed Fak could have been a dangerous creature. They have to destroy it.

"Strike him!" Akira's orders to his army. "We can't save Fak. But I'm sure he would be honored to die for the safety of the world!"

The troops began to attack towards Fak simultaneously. Wow, the battle happened so fast.

"You guys, stop there! That's dangerous!" Darren Shouts.

But it was too late, before they could hear it, they all became ice.

Akira and Darren were surprised to see him.

"They just froze!?" Darren. "It seems like it was the wind."

"Yes, right. I can see it" Akira said. "The wind has ice magic in it. Inhale it once, then you'll freeze."

Darren immediately took up a position. He pulled out his sword and activated his Channelling spell.

"Non-elemental Spell: Channel!" He also cast a spell on Akira's mask and himself.

"Esema-kun, you better back off. I'll try to attack him" Akira said as he picked up the horses.

Darren. He took a few steps back until it was quite far away.

"Emerald Touch!" Akira let out his spell.

Instantly, many green crystals emerged from the ground and attacked Fak. They are numerous and appear from various directions.

"Once the crystal stabs you, you'll die" Akira said. "The smallest part of the crystal will enter your bloodstream and freeze your body from the inside. Not ice, but you're gonna be an exotic emerald sculpture!"

Some parts of Fak's body began to green. But, suddenly...

"Yes, really," Reply Fak who turns out his name is Tomatsu.

"Oh, I'm fine," replied Darren. He then took something out of his bag and gave it to Tomatsu slowly.

"Opo iki?" Tomatsu asked while analyzing Darren's gift.

"Kuwi satay, watered with karo seasoning beans," replied Darren. "Sampean luwe, right? Try in the hand, can also nglegakake keluwen sampeyan."

Tomatsu then smelled Darren's food. He seemed interested in the food.

Chom. he ate it in one bite.

"Enak tenan!" Pleased speech. "What is sampeyan duwe liyane?"

"What is sampeyan luwih akeh?" Ask Darren.

Tomatsu only nodded desperately. He wanted that food again.

"OK, nanging kanthi terms," Darren said.

"Open?" Reply to Tomatsu quickly.

"Destroy your magic, lan nudahake dhewe!" Darren.

"OK!"

Suddenly, everyone else moved back. Their ice forms are disappearing. Fak also began to regain his consciousness.

Akira just kept looking back and forth counting the number of troops.

"They're all complete" Akira said. "What actually happened?"

Darren just smiled awkwardly. How will he explain this?

"Ah. i..." Darren replied awkwardly, "I made a deal with him."

"So you understand the devil's language?" Ask Akira again.

Shortly after, a creature emerged from under the ice. Everyone was startled and jumped back in shock because of the shock they had received earlier.

"He's attacking again!" Said Fak who was conscious.

All the troops retreated while Darren advanced towards the creature.

Darren immediately took out his entire food supply and handed it to Tomatsu who was already impatient to eat.

Darren left Tomatsu without a word with the troops who were struggling with the events they had just witnessed.

In the end everyone survived, and they made it out of the Erfroren Mountain Range quickly.
