"Recall,"

Darren woke up right in the middle of the goblin crowd. A goblin? Is he in danger? Take it easy, it looks like they are goblins brought by Ravenna. Placed, right below it, there are discarded equipment that has been lying and dirty.
"Darren, you're back," Ravenna came over to Darren who was still sitting limply on the ground. He then pulled out his hand and placed it on his shoulder.
"You okay?"
"Yes, I'm okay. Just a little tired," Reply Darren withered. Using Akira's special magic turns out to be draining his Mana. He should rest now.
Darren then went back to wearing all his gear lying on the ground. From his clothes to his clothes.
"It's a good thing they didn't intend to bring my gear, '" Darren said. "The main requirement to perform recall magic is to have an object to be installed as a teleportation seal. Just before I took my things off, I put Recall's seal on my robe. With my equipment left here, I can return right in the Lizardmen village."
"Woah, Darren is back," Kanrei welcomed his arrival warmly. Connected by all the Lizardmen and animal-men cheering.
"Darren-sama!" The sound of the crowd calling out Darren's name.
For Darren, this kind of thing feels like a dream. He pinched his own cheek, but he knew it was all true. In his heart, he was happy to be treated like a hero, but in fact he was nothing more than a criminal in the eyes of humans.
"You-" Darren was a little moved. What has he done? Is killing a lot of humans worth a compliment like this?
"I had to stop, but it was too late. This hand has been covered in blood and that blood can't be washed."
"But if this is the only way. I will do that, to bring peace. Even if someone's life is at stake."
"For the same thing to happen to me never to happen again."
"Yuzuna, Rolf, Hayate, I will create a world where everyone will live happily."
Darren was laid on a bed. Beside him, Ravenna sat guarding him while holding a bottle of Mana recovery potion.
"Ravenna, what exactly is this world?" Darren asked, unaware of what he said. He was half conscious and half asleep.
"World?" Reply Ravenna was a little confused, but still answered. "The world is full of decisions. Where I too have been swallowed up by despair itself."
But without realizing it, it turns out that Darren has fallen asleep. Ravenna just smiled gently and hugged him for a while, then took it off.
"Thank you, thanks to you, my sister has a chance to live."

A Few Days Before...
A sunny day as usual. The sun was shining and the sky was empty without clouds. Ravenna walked out the door of her house and walked towards the Adventurers Guild.
"Ah, Ravenna-san," Welcome the guildmaster. "What's wrong? Not usually diamond adventurers come here for no reason, right?"
Ravenna just put on a lazy face. Coldly, he said something that everyone had never expected.
"I want to stop," he said flatly.
"Want to stop?" The Guildmaster reconfirmed what he heard.
"I want to stop being an adventurer."
Everyone there was surprised. They know who Ravenna is. He is a famous diamond-level adventurer. Always run quests perfectly, and have a high reputation among adventurers. Anyone would be happy if they were on a mission with him. But, just now-his words, made everyone stare silently.
"You're s-serious?" Say Guildmaster again.
"Yes," Ravenna retorted briefly with a cold look in her eyes.
"alright. Then, here's your commission."
Ravenna walked out of the Guild with a bag of money in her hand. It has become a rule when an adventurer level gold and above to get a pension if he stops being an adventurer.
But, it's not the money that Ravenna is after. He had long wanted to stop being an adventurer. All he wanted was a normal life with his sister.
Ever since his sister fell ill, he had to become an adventurer to pay for the treatment that always curbed him every day. But thanks to Darren, the restraint was broken and Ravenna is now free to pursue her own dreams.
"If this money is a little, but at least it will be enough for me to open a small business."
Ravenna sped up her steps to immediately return home and tell Ryuu good news.
Suddenly, something passed in front of him. Quickly he immediately hid behind a wall and eavesdropped on what was happening.
It turns out that the Erobernesian army came here. But what would they do with such a large army?
"Hundreds? No-Thousands!" Count Ravenna.
"Stop all of you!" Troops on the outskirts began to drive out residents who blocked the road. "It's a government affair. Move over!"
Ravenna's getting curious. He followed them all the way to the city gate and eavesdropped on their every conversation. Of course, secretly.
"This gate. It leads towards the forest. What are they planning?" Ravenna Mumbles.
"Wow, Accel-sama. It's very honorable to meet you here" said the gatekeeper, bowing. "If you can tell, where do you want to go?"
Accel replied, "I'm sorry, it's royal business. So we don't bus-"
"We're going to invade the Lizardmen village!" Cut off a soldier who seemed to be drunk. "I'll kill them all, and I won't spare one."
"Oi, Tom. Isn't this a bad time to get drunk!?" Accel Protests. "It's so stupid of you."
The gatekeeper only chuckled, trying to keep his attitude in front of a royal high-ranking person. He opened the city gates and let thousands of troops pass.
"I have to tell Darren and the Lizardmen," That was the first thing that popped into his head. I don't know when he started to be a caring person and couldn't keep quiet. He began to feel the change in himself.
But now is not the right time to think about it. The Erobernesian army could arrive there at any time on their horses which was certainly faster than the human pace.
Without waiting any longer, he started chasing them. In the end, he was far behind. At least he remembered where the village was.
Without weapons and dressed like a normal person. His armor was left at home, and there was no way he would spend time just picking it up.
He ran away, in the hope of his desperate heart. There's no way he could get there in time.
Entering the forest, he was alone. The soldiers had gone far away, only to leave traces of horse treads on the ground. While Ravenna began to fret, and stopped from running to take a breath.
"I'll call Raiko," Ravenna planned to summon her Lightning Wolf. Yet...
"Hey," Suddenly someone called out to him from behind. His voice was heavy but soft. "You're Ravenna, right?"
Ravenna looked back, before panicking at the sight of an Ogre standing right in front of her. The ogre was large-bodied with a slightly brownish-colored skin. His horns were two and his eyes were red. Surely people would be frightened if faced with such a creature.
"O-ogre!" Ravenna panic. He slipped and fell on the ground.
But the ogre sat down at the root of a thick tree and began to take an apple out of his bag.
"Calm down first" he said casually. He also did not seem to want to attack, or at least so. "Eat this, and restore your energy."
Ravenna is still wrapped in fear. With a reflex he put his hand to his back, intending to take the weapon, but he realized that the weapon was no longer there. It made her panic.
The only way is to call Raiko. But will he have time? That Ogre could have attacked him while he was still chanting.
"Huff, it seems like you still have a hard time accepting this reality," the Ogre continued in a lazy tone. He began to stand up and approached Ravenna slowly.
"He will attack. Finish my history." Ravenna was scared.
What happened next was very surprising. The ogre sat on the ground, right next to him and continued to thrust the apple. He really looked relaxed without any bloodthirsty look in his eyes. This was a tame gaze, and made Ravenna wonder, "Who can tame an Ogre?"
Ogre had the most feared reputation among the other common monsters. Lizardmen, Goblins, and animal humans, Ogres are flesh-eating monsters and have a high bloodthirsty instinct. They're smart and strong. Unfortunately, that is the main reason why they are feared.
Ravenna's body moved on its own without realizing it. His hands began to grab the apple and eat it. "Why am I calm? Shouldn't I be scared?"
The Ogre smiled a little. Then he started talking about something.
"It looks like you're chasing someone" said the Ogre.
"Y-yes, right."
"Erobernesia, right?"
"Where do you know that?"
The ogre groaned slightly while fixing his sitting position. "My master is a broad-minded person. Almost everything he knows. And amazingly, he did not hesitate to share his knowledge with his subordinates."
"Master?" Ravenna asked while chewing an apple. "really guessed. Someone must have changed the identity of this beast."
"Who is your Master?" Ravenna asked.
The ogre simply turned his face to the sky with a sparkling face. His eyes were teary, as if he wanted to cry.
"He is a god" he said in a tone full of excitement.
Ravenna tilted her head. He had no idea what had happened to this Ogre. What was his past like and what has made him change to this. But he replied with a smile and a gentle nod.
"She must be a very memorable person to you, right?" Ravenna said with a smile.
The ogre nodded in agreement. He then wiped his tears and took out his bag again. He started looking at it as if he was looking for something. Though the bag is just a small bag, why does he look so troubled?
Sringg... A long spear made of black to purple metal, came out from the small bag. It's like a miracle in Ravenna's eyes.
"Here, take it," the Ogre thrust it as if it were a cheap thing.
"Hey, hey, hey, what is this!?" Ravenna. He had just met her and he was already willing to give a spear this cool?
"It's an obsidian black spear," Replied the Ogre. "Take it, my lord, who gave me this."
"Your master? Aren't you the wrong guy?" Ravenna said in disbelief. "We've just met and your Master is- I don't recognize him."
"My master used to say the saying: Unknowing doesn't mean not loving" replied the Ogre with a smile.
Although Ravenna had never seen Ogre smile, this ogre smile was very warm. He looks relieved and grateful. There was no reason for Ravenna to reject the spear, and the Ogre insisted.
"Alright," Ravenna received the spear gladly. "I'm so grateful."
The Ogre replied to him with his trademark smile while standing back up.
"You're on your way to Lizardmen Village, right?" Said the ogre while cleaning his pants off the ground. "Go a little east from here, and go back north again. You'll meet people-No, rather a monster that might be able to help you."
"What do you mean?"
"Erobernesian forces are too much for you. If you go there without a plan and without help, it will only wreak havoc. They could've thought of you as an enemy and killed the hostages."
Ravenna was a little touched by that. A catastrophe? The hostage? Who is this ogre to know so many things?
"Why?" Ask Ravenna, "Why are you helping me?"
The Ogre smiled again. This time he seemed to be crying a little. I don't know what's on his mind.
"My master is sad. At least this will make him happy."
Ravenna did not understand what the ogre was saying. He wanted to ask but he abandoned his intentions.
"I'm happy to make others happy" Ravenna said with a smile. "Especially if that person means a lot to others. I say thank you very much."
The Ogre left Ravenna. He waved until he finally disappeared in the shadow of the forest. Leaving Ravenna who was being tossed around by the question.
"Actually, what do you want that Ogre?"
