"Hm... It's dark enough." Schlaff stopped his footsteps, looking towards the moon that had just woken up from his sleep.
A small gust of wind touched the back of his neck, making Schlaff reflect immediately rubbing it with his hands. I think the wind tonight is pretty cool. Too cold in fact. To make himself feel goosebumps every time the wind blows it.
"Why don't I feel good?" Schlaff muttered. "What did I see right?"
Schlaff went into his mind, looking back on the moments he had met Akira earlier. There was a scene that made him a little angry. But so far, he's been trying to think positively. Until finally he could not hold it anymore.
"Come behind his sleeve... Is that a wound?" Schlaff put on a worried face. "I thought I saw it wrong. But now I'm worried. I have to make sure of that."
Schlaff immediately turned his direction and ran towards the direction Akira was going. He travels around in hopes of finding Akira. The little girl never told me anything about her family or her life. Schlaff himself had a little trouble finding it.
"It should be near here." Schlaff took his breath while leaning against a street pole in front of the house. "The "settlement here is not too crowded. I should be able to find it if I ask from house to house."
The atmosphere of the road was very quiet. There was no sound other than a few squeaks of bats flying here and there. Schlaff continued his search.
He plans to check every house to find Akira. His eyes immediately fell on a house with a tightly closed wooden door. He immediately approached her and knocked on her.
Tok... "Excuse me. Is there anyone?" But there's no reply.
Schlaff tried to push the door, but it appeared to be locked. He could tell it from the doorknob that wouldn't move.
Schlaff sighed. He gave up and almost left. But instantly his palm that was holding the doorknob felt something. Like a vibration coming from inside the house.
"earthquake? No, it's something else." Schlaff immediately realized something was wrong. "It's not far from here. Could it be from behind this door?"
He felt the door handle shaking even more. He became more confident and rounded up his decision.
Gubrakk! The fragile wooden door slipped out of its frame. Schlaff swiftly entered while trying to secure the situation. He looked around. It was then struck with a green, human-shaped statue. At his side, a little girl was standing with her body covered in blood.
Schlaff spontaneously took out his police weapon. A blunt stick designed to knock out opponents. He pointed it towards the unknown creature.
"Lift your hand! Then get down on the floor!" Schlaff yelled.
Schlaff's hands slowly trembled. He pulled his wand as he stared deep into the boy's sight. A look he had seen before.
"about?" Schlaff was unable to speak anymore. What really happened to this poor girl?
The eyes he recognized were full of suffering. Eyes that wanted to cry, but every drop of tears that came out was the same as the suffering he felt.
"About, are you okay?" Schlaff's approaching. But suddenly a lump of green crystal sprinkled out from the ground.
The seuutt! Schlaff managed to dodge the impromptu attack. From there he was sure that the child in front of him was not an arbitrary child. He has great power. Honey, that power is now devouring his humanity.
"about!" Schlaff shouted as loudly as possible, hoping that the little girl could hear his voice even a little.
Whatever was in front of him, Akira did not dwell. His eyes describe what he feels. Pain, suffering, and the desire to die. All the traumas and the past he hated, overflowed in the form of crystals that symbolized how hard his life was.
With a glance, people would no longer recognize him as a human being. It seems like he has lost his human limits. His form was so sinister with a lifeless gaze. And now, Serina is dealing with the creature so-called events.
"It's impossible, isn't it." Serina looked at her feet that had been riveted by the hard green crystals.
He glanced towards Akira. Right then, his eyes were glared with the fur of my back standing up.
"What is that thing?" Serina looked at Akira who was walking slowly towards her.
From both of his eyes, blood was dripping nonstop. Not infrequently among the drops of blood, there are fragments of crystals that come covered with blood. His mouth grinned widely, as if showing Serina that he was his prey right now.
"It's impossible."
