[Albtraum Forest. A Few Days before Autumn]
The birds flapped their wings, flying through the sky above the almighty forest. They flew freely, accidentally dropping one of their feathers. Slowly falling, amid the wind that brought them to another view behind shady trees.
A small town filled with people from all over the country. The humans and monsters gathered together and had fun together. Several horse carriages were parked on the outskirts of the cobbled dirt road. It also appears that a group of adventurers rested in the taverns.
"This place is much different from the last time I visited" said a person with a mask covering his face. But his dark green hair was still freely unraveling behind his head.
"Tell me, Ravenna-dono. Are you interested in working for the Friedlich Infrastructure Development Agency? Our king will surely love your performance a lot" he said.
At his side, there was a woman who walked with firm steps. He smiled as he replied, "Sorry, Akira-dono. I must reject the offer."
"Huh, I guessed it. Your loyalty to Esema-kun is indeed as strong as steel," Sahut Akira chuckled slightly. "But I'm not lying about your performance. Everything you've done has been amazing."
"Thank you, but I'm not doing everything myself. This city is the result of everyone's hard work." Reply Ravenna.
They walked down the streets of the city with both sides of the street filled with peace. Some of the lizardmen and goblins are busy serving shoppers in their stores. And some were seen driving carts with their crops.
"I'm so glad you came today, Akira-dono. We have prepared a special banquet for you at the village hall" Ravenna said.
"Oh really? I'd be so happy to taste it" said Akira.
As the two of them chatted along the way, suddenly a large tall man with some rough skin like scales came running to meet Ravenna.
"Ravenna-san," Call her out panting. "Sorry to interrupt your conversation."
"Oh, what's wrong?" Ravenna Sahut.
"There's a serious situation. Outside the city, there was a strange portal that appeared suddenly," he reported.
"Portals? Could it be the enemy?"
"We haven't confirmed it yet. The portal just popped up while we were patrolling. But the aura it emitted, felt like dark magic," he added. "We've put some soldiers there just in case."
Akira immediately interrupted their conversation. "The dark magic. Maybe what's behind the portal is a powerful creature" he said. "We better check it out. We might be able to solve everything without having to damage the city."
"alright. Please just wait here, Akira-dono. We'll be right back" Ravenna said. Akira suddenly pulled his arm.
"I'll come along" he said.
Ravenna jerks. "can't. It is our duty to protect our honored guests. If something happens to you, then-"
"That's it. I'm not as weak as you think. My talent could be a good protective weapon," Akira cut down.
Ravenna surrender. He finally nodded and let Akira come with him. They also went to the place where the man indicated his location.

"Welcome, in Lizardmen Village," Darren opened his portal.
He slowly stepped his foot, pierced through the cut space, setting his foot on the forest ground which was only a few centimeters behind the portal.
"That's it! Everyone, take your weapons!" Suddenly the sound of combat cheers buzzed.
Darren was surprised. He looked at the group of goblins and lizardmen who were about to swing their weapons towards him.
Cklang! Nimble, Shiro darted from behind the portal. He held out his spear to fend off a sword that shot towards Darren.
"Darren-sama, are you okay?" Shiro and the others stepped out of the portal. Standing next to Darren.
"Everyone, careful! He is not alone" said one soldier to another.
Some goblin archers pulled their bows. Within seconds, arrows fell from the sky.
"Wind Elemental: Wind Blade!" Tora stretched out her hand and slashed apart the arrow in the air.
The soldiers began to panic.
"They're not ordinary people. We must not let them into the city" they said.
"Eh, town?" Darren raised next to his eyebrows.
"Everyone, move!"
The crowd began to move forward. Suddenly and simultaneously, they fell to the ground. It appeared in their bewildered and astonished expressions.
"What's this?" One of the goblins looked at his feet. "My feet... Why merge with the ground?!"
The other soldiers also showed the same expression. Their faces became tense when they saw that they were trapped and unable to move.
"Good work, Hain," Tora glanced with one eye, towards Hain who was bent over touching the ground.
They grumbled while trying to escape. But the grip of the Hain spirit technique was not something that was easy to remove.
"So, what are we doing, Darren-sama?" Tora's Brisks.
"Don't fuck! They are one of the people here" Darren replied.
Darren pulled out his sword just in case. Slowly, he walked up to one of the soldiers calmly.
"You're from Lizardmen village, aren't you?" Ask Darren.
"Who are you?" The lizardmen thrashed. "What do you want in our city?"
"Hey hey's. You don't know who I am?" Darren.
The lizardman was silent for a moment. He opened his eyes wide and observed Darren's appearance. Slowly, his facial expression changed.
"Wait a minute. Look around..." His brows seemed to be full of disbelief, "Could it be you..."
"Elemental Water Cutter!"
The water energy dips between Darren and the Lizardmen. Realizing that a dangerous attack could hit him, Darren immediately took a step back and stood by.
"The magic of this water..." Darren turned his face.
Suddenly appeared three people standing lined up against the backdrop of light that split the forest sky. They stood gallantly behind a silhouette that almost completely covered their looks.
"Eh, guys. Ravenna, Akira, and... who is that man?" Inner Darren.
"O you uninvited foreign guests" said Ravenna, whose voice was familiar to Darren's ears. "Please answer my question. You guys came with good or bad intentions?"
It seemed like they still did not realize that the one standing in front of them was Darren. Darren stood up straight. Half his face was covered in a shadow of the swaying leafy leaves.
"Honored ones, Ravenna and Akira," he said. But his tone imitates the words of Ravenna, which in fact he only intends to play around. "We came in peace. Without any evil intentions."
"Eh, does he know my name?" Akira whispered in Ravenna's ear
Ravenna nodded tightly. "I'm sorry, but have we met before?"
"Oh, of course I have. I've even stayed at your house" Darren replied, trying to hold back his laughter.
"Eh, my house?" Ravenna was confused. His serious face, started to be half-dazed.
Darren turns to Akira. "And Akira. Did you forget we were close friends? To the extent that you're happy to show your face that you've always hidden."
"E-Eh?! I never did that! No one has ever seen my face. Except..." Akira slowly scratches back his memories in the past. "Huh, wait a minute. If you look around, your green sword is a little familiar. And also those who are with you..."
Darren smiles. Actually he wanted to laugh, but he held it back so as not to spoil the atmosphere. He slowly stepped out from behind the shadows and raised his face.
"Yo" he said, raising his right hand.
"Darren-kun?!"
"Esema-kun?!"
"Darren-sama?!"
