"I have to do this alone. I can't get those Lizardmen involved" Darren said as he ran into the forest. "I can feel that the soldiers are still in the forest. If this is the case, I might be able to push them away."

The remaining adventurers were only about six people. Three of them were armed with swords, two were holding spears, and one was using arrows.

"Ho. ho. I don't know if anyone can stand up to sleep magic" Darren said. "But it won't last long."

Then, Darren unleashed his flagship paralyzing magic. "Non-elemental Spell: Curse of Binding!"

Finally the remaining adventurers were successfully overcome. They try to move, but their bodies feel bound to something.

"What the fuck!?" Grouse them.

Darren's plan has worked. This meant that he had also managed to prevent the Lizardmen from getting involved in the fight. But, he planned to bring these adventurers to the village for interrogation.

"Thunder Elemental: Thunder Spear!" Ravenna said while gathering magic energy on the tip of her spear.

Ravenna immediately took her first steps. He cast his spell, "Thunder Elemental: Lighting Arrow!" Instantly, many electric arrows rained down on Darren.

"Earth Elemental: Boulder Smash!" Darren replied to him with earth magic.

A huge flying rock shot out like a kicked ball. Ravenna's lightning arrow attack was not a deadly attack when it was fought by such a powerful earth element.

Seeing his attack anticipated, Ravenna tried to avoid the stone. But, it was also Darren had prepared beforehand.

"Why are my legs so heavy?" Ravenna.

As Ravenna turned her head down, she was shocked to see that half of her legs had been sucked into the ground.

Ravenna, who was still trapped, could only watch as her only weapon was destroyed. He became furious, but he couldn't move either.

"You seem stubborn" Darren continued, drawing his sword back. "But I'm not here to kill you guys."

"Why? You want to show your compassion?" Reply Ravenna nyerocos. "I'm sorry, but a trick like that won't work for me!"

Darren took a breath. He did not expect that one of the famous adventurers could be as stubborn as this. "You're Ravenna, aren't you? Diamond-level adventurers and the greatest lightning magic users in the city guild," asked Darren.

"Yes, that's me, right" answered Ravenna.

"Then, why did you get here?" Darren connected his question.

"Do I have to answer that?" Ravenna said in a mocking tone.

"Yes, or I will kill all those sleeping adventurers" Darren said, trying to intimidate. He himself did not plan to do so.

"Kill it. I don't care" Ravenna said viciously. "Sudar is a risk for weak adventurers if they die while doing quests."

"So, this is what I hate about human nature. They are very selfish" Darren said, growling. "Didn't you care at all about their safety!?"

"Of course not. They have nothing to do with me" Ravenna replied in a harsh tone.

"Then, what would happen if I killed you?" Darren said in an annoyed tone.

"Ha! That's not possible. I won't die at the hands of criminals like you!" Ravenna said with a smug smile on her face.

"Huff. you are, you are" Darren said. "It was trapped and couldn't move. Your mana is also depleted, but you can still feel arrogant like that."

"Alright then, let me serve you," said another man who suddenly appeared from behind a shadow. "Did you know, my name is Taiji. The best fighter of the kingdom of Europe."
