A few days since Darren's been locked up...
Darren was pensive in his solitude in the middle of the cell. With his hands and feet still tied, there was not much he could do.
In the midst of that situation, he kept thinking about how to escape from that place.
"Damn, this chain is absorbing all my magic. I can't break it with the power of a spell" Gerrutu Darren slowly. "Maybe the only way to break this chain is to use physical strength. But I don't have extraordinary physical strength."
"Damn it, I'm completely out of ideas" Gerrutu Darren again. "Today is execution day. If I don't get out of here fast, then I could die here."
He has heard that he will be executed in public. And also, Demon King Ryan himself will intervene in the execution.
Indeed Darren wanted to meet with the Demon King of this area, but this was not the way. He expects a quieter and more relaxed meeting.
As Darren was brain-twisting, suddenly a horde of soldiers emerged from the entrance. They are the messengers from Demon King Ryan to come pick up Darren.
"You shut up! We'll take you, " said one of the soldiers while releasing some parts of the chain.
After they released Darren, they immediately secured him and took him carefully to where the trial would be held.
Arriving there, Darren saw a lot of people present to the congregation. The numbers were over hundreds and the majority were from the demon race. Among the audience, Deus, Michael, and Bagus were also present.
And now, the one Darren was waiting for. A demonic figure that Darren had wanted to meet since the first time he set foot on this land.
"Devil King Ryan," Inner Darren as he saw a man sitting on a majestic throne before him.
Ryan sat in a special chair that was higher than the ground floor. From above, he looked at Darren with disgust.
Darren's own first impression of seeing Ryan was a little different.
"I guess he's a little old or something. But, beuhh..this is my ikemen guy!" Inner Darren in the heart. "Cowok really fits into husbu."
Ryan had blackish red hair and bright brown eyes. His face was like a young High School boy.
Her body is tall. With arms and legs that look muscular. On top of his head was also a pair of dark red horns that were roaring out.
Anyway, Darren instantly insecure saw Ryan's much cooler appearance than him.
"Hey, where'd you look!?" Shouted Ryan looking at Darren who was staring with a blank look.
Darren immediately woke up from his daydream and replied in shock. "Eh-No, I just thought of something."
"There's no point in thinking about escaping. The chain guarantees everything. And even if you manage to take it off, you won't want to face me."
"Yes, yes, I know," Darren replied in a fed-up tone.
Ryan immediately ordered his soldiers to hand Darren over to the executioner who was standing in the middle of the room.
There, he was tied to a pole. At his side, stood an executioner wearing a face cover. He held a large axe in his hand and was ready to take orders from Ryan.
Ryan opened the hearing by asking Darren a few questions.
"Darren, a fugitive from Erobernesia, escapes to the land of the devil. What's your real purpose here?" Ryan started the interrogation.
Darren tried his best to hide his plan in search of a true Demon King. And also, he had to be careful in answering or his head could be cut off.
"No specific meaning. I just happened to pass by," replied Darren.
Ryan had a suspicious face. "I doubt it. Then, why did you join the rebels?"
"Because I thought that if I joined them, I could pass through this country safely," Darren began to have difficulty giving answers. He kept hoping that he would not choose the wrong words.
Ryan was not a Demon King who could be deceived just like that. He also has a pretty smart brain.
Hearing Darren's reply, he became increasingly convinced that there was something Darren was hiding.
"Good-dono, check the lie on the answer!" Ryan told Good.
Good immediately walked up to Darren and extended his palm over his head.
Seeing that, Darren went into a panic. Good to dismantle everything. And if Ryan knew he was lying, then the executioner next to him could swing his axe at any time.
"Pstt, Nice. Please," Darren whispered softly.
Good to see him at a glance. "For what?" Said slowly. "Isn't this what you want? You could join me and we could go back to our world again. But you chose this damned path."
Darren lowered his face. "I must. That way, maybe the truth of this world can be revealed" Darren replied. "And when the truth is revealed, then justice can be done."
"I don't understand. Why do you care so much about this world?" Say Good again. "When we can go back to our real family. Why should you care about what's here?"
"Good, maybe you don't understand. But, in fact, I'm dead in my world there" Darren replied. "I'm sure my family there must have accepted my death. I am the same. I accepted my destiny and tried to start a better life."
"Do you think this is all good? You live in a very dirty world. Differences are everywhere and there is no tolerance. It's worse than our previous world."
"I knew. That's why I want to be a new hope for this world" Darren looked at Good seriously. "I know this sounds naive, l. But, my life before was very messy. And I thought, here I can fix it."
It was good to just stare at Darren without words.
"Good, please," said Darren again pleading.
"I can't. I want to go back. There's someone waiting for me there" Reply Good.
Good then turned around and faced Ryan.
"How's it?" Ask Ryan.
Good answer. "I felt a lie in his soul."
Ryan immediately looked at Darren. "I'll give you one more chance. Tell me everything you know, right now!"
Darren certainly can't tell the truth. If they knew everything, then he could be in a more dangerous position.
Darren shakes. "No. I can't answer that."
Ryan was disappointed to hear that. He thought he could dig up some information about the rebel organization by interrogating Darren.
"I'm upset right now. And you..." Ryan said, pointing at Darren. "You've spent my time in vain. Better a useless creature like you just die!"
Darren was surprised. He didn't expect Ryan to execute him so soon.
From a distance, Deus and Michael watch a desperate Darren.
In Michael's eyes, this was a form of satisfaction for his revenge on Darren who had been quiet. Seeing Darren would die like this, made him smile widely unceasingly.
While in Deus' eyes, he felt grateful that Darren would soon die. To him, Darren's presence in this world was a threat. At least if he can't control it.
"Algojo!" Shouted Ryan, preparing to give the order. "That human head digger is now!"
The executioner raised his axe. Behind his face cover, he looked at Darren and prepared to swing his axe.
Darren hasn't given up. He tried to use all the remaining magic, but the chain absorbed everything.
"Damn, this is bad!" Darren stared at the blade of the axe swinging towards him.
The jebrett!
Instantly the atmosphere became quiet. The audience fell silent and everyone gaped.
Deus watched it from afar. He asked Michael something.
"Michael-dono, is the executioner one of your men?" His question.
Michael narrowed his eyes and looked at the center of the room.
"Looks. Did I wrongly order people?" Michael replied in a confused tone. "I don't think I ordered someone to be an executioner."
"Then, who is the person behind the mask?" Asked Deus again in a surprised tone.
In the middle of the room, an axe that was supposed to cut Darren's neck, landed instead on the chain that bound Darren.
Darren, who had closed his eyes, opened his eyes slowly and was shocked. He saw that his bound hand had come off and could move it freely.
"Darren-sama, are you okay?" A familiar voice came out from the executioner's mouth. Shortly thereafter, the executioner's face cover was removed.
"You... Tora!?" Darren instantly regained his senses as soon as he saw the executioner's face. "What are you doing here?"
"We came to pick you up, Darren-sama," Tora replied.
Darren looked at her with a grateful face. But he realized something from Tora's words. "Wait-we?"
Ryan immediately realized that the executioner was an intruder. He was immediately furious and immediately ordered his troops to storm the two men.
"Catch 'em!" Shouted Ryan.
Just as the forces of the demon kingdom were about to make a move, they suddenly fell to the floor simultaneously.
"What is this!?" Ryan's confused.
It turned out, among the spectators, Hain had activated his spirit magic. He fused the soldiers' feet with the floor without them noticing.
"Shiro, now!" Shouted Hain above the audience seats.
"Good!" Shiro. "Ice Elemental: Freze!"
Seeing his soldiers defeated before the battle, Ryan became very upset.
"Damn it, they're already moving," Ryan grumbled. "I think I should step in."
"Your Majesty does not have to dirty your hands. Let me take care of this," Michael suddenly walked down into the middle of the room.
Ryan just stared at Michael walking around haughtily. He himself did not like to see that. It's like Michael's acting like a hero. But he let it.
"Good-dono, you're coming with me" Michael told Bagus.
"Eh, me? I'm not good at fighting" said Good.
"You don't have to fight in person. You just use the dark stone" Michael replied, giving him a sword.
The sword was silver in color with a light yellow motif line. In the middle of the sword, there was a small hole.
"What sword is this?" Good Ask.
"That's a special sword that can hold magic stone power. Put the dark stone in the hole and you can use the power of the stone."
Michael added, "You have to be able to control your emotions properly in order to use the stone. If not, then the stone will defeat you."
Good to understand. He immediately did what Michael said and was right. As soon as he placed the stone on the sword, he could feel an incredible force flowing from it.
"This power..." Say Good amazed.
Seeing Good and Michael coming to them, Tora immediately asks Darren to run away with her.
"Darren-sama, let's go!"
However, Darren is now being confronted by his nemesis. The man who killed his two best friends first.
Darren's emotions instantly overflowed and gave him an adrenaline rush to get ahead.
"No, Tora. I'm not going to run away this time" Darren said as he walked over to Michael and Bagus.
"What do you mean, Darren-sama!?" Tora looks panicked when she sees Darren walking.
"I think that's clear enough. I'll kill that general!"

Meanwhile, at the rebel base...
"So they left? Secretly?" Samson asked, after hearing the reports from his men.
Clara and Dylan who were standing there, also heard that.
Dyland simply shook his head while sighing.
"Not usually Hain will act rashly like this" he said.
Clara looked agitated. It's been looking like that since yesterday's meeting.
"What's wrong with you, Clara?" Dyland asked his sister. "You look different from yesterday. Are you not feeling well?"
"T-No, it's nothing. Something just bothered my mind," Reply Clara immediately threw away her agitated look. "I mean, I'm worried about their situation."
"Just calm. I'm sure Hain won't act stupid" Dyland replied. "He often acts recklessly. But if he's serious, he could be a scary guy."
"Do you think he's serious right now?" Samson said.
"I think yes. He's come this far" replied Dyland.
Samson folded his hands on the table and leaned his head over it. He breathed with a frustrated face.
He himself was confused by what he had chosen. Is this the best way? Is this how everyone will be safe?
"I think we should" Samson was about to speak, but suddenly someone appeared from behind the door.
A large body, with a pair of horns on its head. It has bright red eyes and has a hard brown skin.
"Excuse me everyone" said the person who was an ogre.
Samson immediately stood up from his chair when he realized the ogre was a stranger. He immediately took a vigilant position with sharp eyes.
"Who are you?" Samson asked in confusion.
"Include me, my name is Hioni. Ogre travelers to all corners of the world" Reply the ogre.
While Clara looked at the ogre with glaring eyes. "W-You, what are you doing here?"
Dyland and Samson turned to Clara. "Clara do you know him?"
Clara did not answer and only glanced a little.
"I just wanted to tell you something about that human youth" Hioni turned to Clara. He spoke as if he knew each other.
"Who? An osema?" Connect Clara.
Hioni. "Yes," Reply Hioni. "The real name is not Esema. Except Darren."
Dyland and Samson were shocked when they heard that.
"Darren!? The man who became a fugitive for defending a group of human animals?" Samson was shocked.
"Yes, that's right," replied Hioni.
Samson was so surprised, that he sat back in his chair without any energy.
"I didn't think there was such a person in our organization" Samson said. "But what does he want to do in this country?"
"I think I know the reason" Hioni continued.
"Huh? What'sthat?"
"He's looking for a True Demon King."
The three of them were surprised not to be trapped. Just this time they heard a human wanted to search for a True Demon King directly.
"What do you mean? Wasn't the True Demon King long dead?" Dyland.
Hioni did not answer at all. All he did was glance towards Clara and look at her.
"You know what you have to do, right?" Hioni to Clara.
Clara looked uncomfortable after hearing Hioni's words. He bit his lips and then answered. "Yes. I'll do it."
"Goodoo. You better get down there now. I'm sure my Master would love to hear that you kept your word" Hioni continued.
"Wait, what's going on?" Samson cut their conversation. "Claras. What's the matter? You never said anything about any of this."
Clara fell silent, while Hioni replied. "You'll know everything at the end. That's if you have a chance"
Hioni then spread out his hands and cast some spells.
Suddenly, a portal appeared before them.
"I will leave this portal open for the next twenty-four hours. This portal was connected to the front hall of the Demon King Ryan's castle. If you want to help Darren, then go to the portal. But if you don't want to, then leave it, " Hioni said.
Hioni added, "But before that, you better think carefully, is what you are doing right? If so, then plan your next steps carefully."
Hioni walked out the door.
Samson still did not understand Ogre's words. He wants to ask me something else. He ran and caught up with her.
"Wait seben-" But as soon as he passed the door, the ogre had disappeared without a trace. It is like being swallowed by the earth.
"Who was he?" Samson. "Clara, is she your acquaintance?"
Clara did not answer and instead said something else. "We have to go there."
Samson looked confused.
Dyland stood up while raising his eyebrows. "Why do you want to go now? Didn't you tell me yesterday not to save Esema?"
"This time is different. I've got other plans" Clara said. "And this time, I'll end it all for sure."
