Isekai No Gakusei: Students From Another World
Blood Rain

It had been two days since Michael had lived in that demon village. Everything seemed fine without any protest from the villagers.

Michael was crouching in bed. This was the last time he tried to move both of his legs. But still, the result is nil. Let alone moving, his feet could no longer even feel what he was touching.

"My legs are numb" he said. His determination to try was gone. "How am I going to get out of this village if I can't walk?"

Tok... Riana knocked on the door and entered while carrying a plate of food and then placed it on the table near the mattress. He walked to the window and opened it.

Instantly the cold air burst in. It was still morning, and the sun had just shone. Generally this is a calming mood, but not for Michael. His heart was hot and filled with vigilance.

Riana turned around and looked at Michael. His armor plates have been hung and dried. He is now just a crippled and defenseless man.

Riana then glanced towards the floor opposite the mattress. There were some dishes and food stains littering the floor.

It turned out that for the past two days, Michael had always thrown away the food given by Riana.

"Aren't you hungry?" Ask Riana.

Michael did not answer. Instead of turning around and back curling in the opposite direction.

Riana walked up to him and stopped in front of the table. He took the plate and sucked the food with a spoon.

"At least eat a little. You haven't eaten since yesterday" Riana said as she thrust her spoon.

Michael is not warting. He kept his face in the bed and tried to avoid the food.

"There may be poison in the food" he thought.

Riana kept trying to bribe him. But Michael kept rejecting it outright.

Riana started to get annoyed. He put down his spoon and immediately grabbed Michael's face and pulled him. Michael was shocked and now he had his face visible to Riana.

Hanging eye bags, pale face, and chapped lips. Michael's condition explains how he has refused all of Riana's gifts so far.

"K-You," Riana was surprised. "How many days have you not slept? Have you not eaten since here? Aren't you thirsty?"

Michael pushed Riana's arm away. "God, demon. Don't try to touch me!"

Riana pushed him to the floor. For a moment their eyes stared at each other. Michael's eyes were filled with hatred and disgust. While Riana's eyes were decorated sparkling a sincere feeling.

"Don't fuck with me! Or I'll kill you!" Michael shouted back. He turned around and buried his face again.

Riana sighed softly. He stood up and looked at Michael.

"Actually why is he? I felt a strange magic coating his legs. Magic that somehow felt familiar," Inner Riana. "Ah, anyway I'll try to help her. Then maybe I can ask him something."

After that Riana went out. "Don't forget to eat, yeah," he said before leaving.

Outside her room, Riana was suddenly intercepted by a man who was none other than her sister. His name is Ari. The demon man was thin but tall. Her hair was white just like Riana's, only it was cut short. They also seem to share a lot of physical traits. Maybe because they are family.

"Sister?" Riana's surprised.

Ari looked at her sister's face. "From your look, there seems to be a problem inside, huh?" Ari guessed.

Riana nodded. "He doesn't want to eat. It also seems that he refused to rest. He has been on guard for the last two days."

"so yeah. So, are you gonna keep taking care of her?" Ari asked while leaning against the wall. "The villagers have warned me about this. They're starting to worry about the human presence here."

Riana looked glum. "Sister, could it be because we're albino?"

Ari looked at him in wonder. "Why indeed?"

"I felt a familiar Mana flow at that person. It was like meeting father-No, but meeting great-grandfather of great-grandfather."

"But it's impossible that he's also an albino? Only the monster race could have the blood of an albino god descendant."

"Eitherway. I can't be sure either. Maybe because of a spell that tied his leg."

"His feet?" Ari furrowed her brows.

Riana then explained. "There's some kind of seal magic on his leg. The magic prevented Mana from flowing into the ankle completely, thus causing his leg to be paralyzed."

"And you feel familiar with the flow of magic," continued Ari. "Do you know who did it?"

Riana shook her head. "No. He won't talk about it either."

"Curtain! Asked not to answer. Being fed does not want to eat. We just want to help him. Indeed humans are very troublesome," Gerutu Ari. "Leave him. Basic don't know thank you."

Ari walked away. He took an arrow with an arrow. He wrapped a bag on his back and put his equipment there.

"I got a patrol turn this afternoon. I'll be back later in the afternoon" he said while wearing a brown boot. "If anything happens, just look for me at the south patrol. Close to the forest."

"All right."

Ari stepped away. Riana simply watched her sister's back move away from the door.

Soon, the day had gone by. Even so, the sun did not shine brightly. Thick clouds seemed to swarm across the sky, covering the light of the sun.

Riana was lifting her clothes from the clothesline. He looked up at the sky with a worried look.

"It looks like it's going to rain" he said slowly putting his clothesline in the basket. "May brother be okay."

A few minutes later, heavy rain fell all over the village. Very heavy, until some areas began to be submerged in puddles.

Ari sits casually in her post, enjoying the wind blowing with her two friends.

"Great rain. Do you think it won't flood?" Asked a friend of his, Yanu.

"I think it's okay. Our village has a pretty good water channel system," Reply Ari.

"But it hasn't rained like this in a long time. It was cold" said another, Ren.

"Don't be lebay. You guys are already training hard for this kind of situation," Ari replied. "Otherwise, we're not weak demons. We've been entrusted to this task."

Yanu and Ren nodded. "Well, that's how Ari is. Always encourage his colleagues," said Ren.

Yanu glanced at Ari. His face looked a little anxious and agitated.

"You're thinking about that man, aren't you?" Ask Yanu.

Ari nodded. "Yes. He's a troublesome human being. My sister has been taking care of him the last two days, but she still stubbornly refused all his help."

"Riana-chan is patient as well" said Ren. "Listen, he said the man was a royal soldier, huh?"

"really. But his legs are paralyzed. He could not move and got lost in the forest alone. It was my sister who found him."

"Riana-chan is really nice. But sometimes there is a good limit anyway," continued Yanu. "Royal people are dangerous. We don't know what they're planning."

"Eat it, I want my sister to throw it away. It's a good opportunity."

"Riana-chan will definitely disagree."

The rain is falling more and more. Lightning started to strike and the wind was blowing even louder. The storm seems to have arrived.

"It's raining heavily. Is it gonna be okay?" Ren moved and walked towards the hanging iron fist.

"Just give a signal to the others. Tell the people, the storm is coming. Tell them to stay home" Ari replied.

Ren began to knock the fist with an iron rod. The sound produced from the impact between the two iron elements, causing a sound that is loud enough to penetrate the sound of heavy rain.

Teng! Teng! Teng! Ren hits him several times, forming some morse code. Shortly thereafter, another post near them responded with their clanging sounds.

"Good, they heard it," Ren put down his iron rod.

"Man-friends..." Yanu suddenly called out to his two friends.

"What's up, Yan?" Ari responds.

Yanu narrowed his eyes towards the forest. Heavy rain blocked his view, but something moved faintly amidst the rain.

"What?" Yanu showed his finger.

Ren and Ari immediately turned their heads together, towards Yanu pointing. It seems something is moving. The movement is indeed faint, but it seems clear that the object is moving.

"What is a man?" Thought Yanu. "Maybe he's back from the woods. Just call him here to shelter."

Without a second thought, Ren responded to Yanu's request. He directly hit his kentong back, intending to signal that there were people around.

"Eh, he walked faster," Yanu looked back at him. "I think he hears our signal."

"Wait, Ren, Yanu," Ari suddenly moved. He then took his bow and put an arrow as his ammunition.

"Ari, what are you doing!?" Yanu surprised.

"Be careful!" Shouted Ari while aiming for his bow.

Instantly, the person in the rain instantly moved swiftly towards them. Although only his silhouette is visible, but his running style shows who he really is.

His running motion seemed to stagger, but it was fast. His hands were swinging irregularly. And judging from the movement of his body, it is certain that he is not normal.

Ari was immediately convinced after identifying all these traits. Without hesitation, he took off the pull of the thread, and sent an arrow slashing toward the person's head.

"Dad!" Yanu yelled. However, what he would see next changed his expression.

Whip! The arrow managed to land on the target on the person's face. In fact, Ari's shot was enough to make his head loose.

But not directly dead. The body that had been separated from his head continued to walk without direction. Slowed his movements, until he reached in front of them right before his body fell sprawled.

"U-Undead!?" Yanu surprised.

Ari immediately pulled his bow back. "Where did this zombie come from?"

Ren saw something else coming from the direction of the rain. But this time, there was not one.

"Ari, Yanu, there's another one!" Shouted Ren.

Soon, silhouettes began to appear in the falling rain. The numbers were many and were moving quickly towards them.

"They are many. Quickly tell the others!" Ari said as he started shooting at the zombie horde.

Ren swiftly struck his clapper fiercely. But strangely, this time there was no response from another post. Something must have happened.

"Dad!" Ren.

"I know! The others must have been attacked. Only we are left" Ari replied.

Yanu stood up and pulled his machete, preparing for the fight.

"Man-friend, they're coming!"

The zombies have arrived. They one by one began to storm Ari's post and surrounded him from all directions.

"Damn, this rain is blocking my view. My arrows are all wet too!" Ari grumbled while shooting at the enemy in front of him.

Yanu fought valiantly with a machete in his hand. While Ren uses a scythe that he carries and attacks from close range.

"Thunder Elemental: Zap!" Ren cast his lightning spell. One electric shock from his hand was enough to knock out several zombies directly.

"Ren, watch out behind you!" Yanu Shouted.

Suddenly a zombie appears from Ren's blind spot. Ren had no chance to respond, so the zombie managed to bite him.

"Gahh!"

He became careless. The defense was slack, and other zombies were attacking it from various directions. They tore Ren's skin off one by one. Starting from the tip of the foot, until his face was completely torn.

"More!" Yanu yelled.

"Yanu, there's no point in helping him. We have to run!" Ari. "At least we have to secure the villagers."

Yanu felt guilty for leaving his friend to die. But what Ari said was true. He must put aside his pain for the good of many.

They both immediately backed off. They plan to run. But not unexpectedly, if the zombies could easily catch up with them.

"They're fast, '" said Yanu looking back.

"We are still far from the village" Sahut Ari. "Damn it, we won't have time."

Yanu suddenly stopped his steps. He also pulled his machete and took the position of the horses.

"Ari, go! The safety of the village depends on you" Yanu said, intending to sacrifice himself.

"Yanu!" Shouted Ari.

But Yanu directly stuck his machete to the ground and cast a spell.

"Earth Elemental: Stone Wall!"

A stone wall loomed from the ground. Not too high, but enough to withstand the movement of zombies.

"Go, Ari. I'll hold them off" Shouted Yanu.

Ari had no other choice. He can only carry out his friend's trust. While running, he occasionally looked back.

What a horrible sight. How his friend was brutally and brutally slaughtered. His head was gnawed off. His hands and feet were broken and he ate like a snack.

His blood was flowing, mixed with a puddle of water that slowly turned red. They're gone.

"Damn you, Yanu, Ren! Don't be a hero without me!" Ari continued running with tears.

Amidst the heavy rain, Ari continued to step foot. The safety of the village, its inhabitants, and its sister are determined by it.
