Isekai No Gakusei: Students From Another World
General Without Legs

"You're so weak" A voice flashed like it was hovering in the air. "The best general of Europe. But you lost to a naive teenager."

"Whisper!" Another voice replied in a loud tone. "Don't compare me to him! Even though I was ordered to obey you, you broke our agreement."

"There's no point letting you live. Sooner or later, your birth country will collapse. The people who live in it are just greedy humans led by the rotten King."

"Don't insult Your Majesty! I have every right to fight you if you make fun of our country."

"Against? You think you can? You yourself are united with me. I'm in control now."

"S-Damn."

Soon, we heard footsteps approaching them.

"Holy Priest, I have arrived" he said. "I've heard your spirit's call. Let my body hold your soul for a while."

The voice suddenly said. "My pick has arrived. I don't need you anymore" he said. "I'm not gonna kill you. But I'm gonna break your leg so you can't move. I thought it would be good if that young man killed you."

"H-Hey, don't leave me!"

The voice disappeared. At the same time, the footsteps that had approached him went away. His voice slowly disappeared, leaving himself alone amidst the lush sounds of the leaves.

Shortly after, he regained his consciousness. He looked left and saw only trees and shrubs.

"Where am I?" Ask in your heart. "I don't think I'm far from Avon. I gotta get out of here-"

He was about to stand up, but his feet could not move. It feels numb.

"My legs!?" He's surprised. "I don't think I, Michael, the supreme general of Europe, was humiliated like this."

Michael tried to crawl with his hands. His fingers gradually grabbed the surrounding rocks and used them to pull his body moving.

Not long after, he found his fingers injured. Scratch wounds filled his hands. His fingers began to swell because he could not pull his heavy body again.

Michael surrenders. He sprawled his body on the ground, with a gaze that stared at the forest ceiling. Even space cannot be seen.

"Maybe I'm doomed to die here?" Said slowly. "Even my death will not be shone in the sun. Instead of dying in the land of the damned."

Michael closed his eyes. He tried to rest while feeling resigned. There was nothing he could do but give up and wait for Darren to arrive.

"You okay?" Suddenly someone stood beside him.

Michael surprised. He immediately turned his head and saw that the man was a female demon carrying a small basket. It seems to be gathering food in the forest.

Her skin is clear white. His face was equipped with shiny white hair with a light blue sliced eyeball decoration. Between his hair, a pair of silver horns were brandishing out.

"W-Who are you!?" Michael surprised.

Michael spontaneously moved his hand about to draw the sword. But he knew he was unarmed. He held out his hand and cast a spell.

"Fire Elemental: Fire Ball!"

Nothing happened. The fire did not come out of his hands. What the hell's going on?

"Damn it, the priest must have sucked out all my Mana" Grunts.

The demonic woman crouched down in front of him and looked at Michael's injured hand.

"You're hurt, huh?" Her speech. He then took something from the basket.

A leaf shaped like a heart. The color is green, but in some parts is slightly reddish in color.

The woman then took two different-sized stones. One is big and one is smaller. He placed the leaf on a large rock and began pounding it with a smaller stone.

After the leaves were perfectly pounded, the woman approached Michael.

"Come here, give me your hand" he said.

Michael was silent. But he still showed a disgusted face. His gaze was enough to make the woman realize it.

The woman immediately glanced at her clothes. Luxury clothes with some broken armor plates.

"So you're a royal soldier, huh?" Her speech. "You must have fought. Are you dealing with a bear?"

Michael did not answer. Unless he's getting more alert. He tried not to be touched by the devil.

"You're hurt, loh. Let me treat you," said the woman again, offering her mash. "This is binahong leaf. Apply it on your wound, then your wound will heal quickly."

"Give me the cure" said Michael, taking the stone with the leaf.

With his own hands, he applied the medicinal impact to the wound on his arm. Despite the distress, Michael continued to be stubborn. She offered him help, but he did it himself.

After his wound was bandaged by the medicine, Michael began to sigh heavily. He never thought that he would be helped by the devil.

Although this is only a small help, but for him this is a great disgrace as a general. His ego really discouraged him from thanking him.

"Oh, I'm sorry Your Majesty. I have to accept the help of these filthy creatures" Michael said.

The demonic woman suddenly extended her hand. "You're still hurt. Let's go back to my village and rest there."

"Where to!" Michael replied firmly. "I'd rather die than be in a crowd of monsters like you."

"But you just received my medicine, right?"

Michael fell silent.

"Here you go, let's go. My village is not too far away

The woman pulled Michael's arm without hurting him. But Michael didn't want to move.

"You still don't want to, do you?" Say that woman.

Michael looked down at his feet. At that moment, the woman realized something. He walked over and watched Michael's feet.

"Your legs are paralyzed?" He asked as he touched Michael's feet. "But there was no wound. There were no broken bones either. If you're paralyzed from birth, there's no way you can be a soldier, right."

The woman closed her eyes. The skin around his eyes was shrinking because it was being pulled. And at that moment he saw something.

"Well, why isn't there Mana running down your ankle?" His question.

Michael was surprised to hear that. But he was more interested in something. "This devil can see Where?"

The woman immediately pulled Michael's arm while making sure not to hurt him. He leaned her on his shoulder and carried her slowly. Walk through the forest and go to the village.

Michael was silent. He tried to follow the path. In order to avoid a fight that would definitely cost him.

"I better obey him first. If my condition has improved, then I'll leave quietly without being discovered."

Upon arrival in the village, the demons immediately noticed the woman who had brought Michael with her. For them this was a rare and dangerous sight.

The village is not too far from the forest. In the outermost part of the village, wooden fences are placed around. The wooden fence was meant to hold off the wild monsters that had emerged from the forest.

But a small, thin piece of wood cannot really do its job. So that the villagers will carry out guard in an accompaniment.

But Michael's own presence in the village could be considered more dangerous than a wild monster. They are aware of it even if not directly.

Michael became vigilant as well as cautious. One wrong step, then he could be burned in the middle of a crossroads in the center of the village.

The woman took Michael to a small house that was her home. There, he was laid on a small bed.

After laying Michael down, the woman scratched the contents of her closet. From there, he took a bandage which he then wrapped into Michael's arm.

"Sad. What the hell is this. Does he think he can take my heart by doing good?" Inner Michael. "Anyways, you're still a demon. The race of the Demon King that harms the world."

Sreekk... Slowly the woman tore the bandage from the scroll. Michael's hand has been bandaged perfectly.

"Your hands will be fine. In a few days, the wound will heal" he said. "But your feet, I don't know what to do. Someone might put magic on your feet."

"Yes, I know," replied Michael with a cetus. "Now leave me. I want to be alone."

"Alright," Reply. "If you need help. Just call Riana. That's my name."

Michael did not answer, but turned his face away. Riana left without leaving any other words.

"What the fuck is he," grumbled Michael after himself alone in the room. "I need to get out of here fast. I'm sick of being among them."

"But how? That damn priest has blocked the flow of Mana towards my feet. That's why I'm paralyzed. Maybe for now, I'd better blend in while preparing a good plan."
