Hundreds of arrows started heading towards them. The two of them just stared at the arrows with gloomy gazes.

Darren is injured and he can't move fast. Tora is going through a mental crisis. They could have dodged it, but that didn't guarantee they would escape fatal wounds.

Duarr! A loud bang sounded. Along with the sound, a strong wind wave came and blew away everything in the area.

All the arrows that were shooting down. Tora and Darren were also thrown up to several meters away, but it did not cause any serious injuries.

"What the hell is that?" Darren muttered while holding his left shoulder.

Tora got up and helped Darren to get up with his feet. Shortly after, they saw two foreign bodies hovering in the sky of the city.

"What was that?" Said Tora while glaring in shock. "The wave of vibration was so strong that it blew away all the arrows easily."

Darren retorted while pulling out the arrow on his shoulder. "Something's bound to happen. But we have to think about what happened here first."

They both glanced up at the wall. Accel was also shocked by what happened, but that didn't stop him from killing Darren.

"Everything, rain down again the two of them with arrows!" Shouted Accel while pointing at Darren and Tora.

The soldiers began to pull their threads. The sound of the friction of the threads began to sound in unison.

"Foot!"

But from behind Darren and Tora, three people came running towards them.

"Earth Elemental: Stone Wall!" It turned out to be Rendi. He is with Remi and Shiro.

A huge wall appeared splitting the battle area, thus blocking their view with the enemy.

"Darren-sama, are you okay?" Shiro immediately put down his spear and approached Darren.

Meanwhile Remi became emotional upon seeing Tora. He immediately came to her and pulled her collar up.

"The shameless traitor!" Remi shouted loudly to make Tora shut up silently. "How dare you approach Darren-sama after doing such a lowly thing!"

Tora was silent and did not answer. But Remi kept yelling at him. His emotions really overflowed.

"Remi, we don't have time for that!" Ucao Rendi pulled him away from Tora. "We have to leave quickly, or those soldiers can kill us."

They're moving right away. Shiro held Darren on his shoulders while walking somewhat staggeringly. Tora offers to help, but Remi forbids her because she no longer believes him.

"You traitor, stay behind. Don't go near Darren-sama again!" Remi shouted while leaving, followed by Tora behind him.

While Rendi continuously made a wall behind them.

Accel became very emotional when his gaze on Darren was cut off. He immediately ordered the witches to throw fireballs to destroy the stone wall.

But every single wall is destroyed, always a new wall appears again in the same place. Rendi really put all her energy into protecting her friends.

"Quick activate the Cancelling spell! Don't let him build another wall!" Shouted Accel to the witches.

The witches cast the Cancelling spell and the wall began to re-enter the ground. Every time Rendi tried to cast another spell, it was always thwarted and she ended up running out of Mana.

"Damn! Everyone, run fast!" Shouted Rendi.

Seeing them move away, Accel did not stay silent. He ordered the archers to shoot them again. In an instant, the arrows again covered the sky.

"It's no use! We can't run away" Remi said. "Even spells cannot. We're stuck."

But again, a strong wave of vibration again blew away all the arrows. Darren and the others managed to maintain their positions thanks to the building covering the direction the waves were coming from.

But this time something came crashing down from the sky. One of the two things that floated earlier fell into the wave.

Gubrakk! Smoke covered the atmosphere. Their views are closed and this could be a good opportunity to run.

"Tomatsu-sama!" But suddenly Shiro shouted hysterically.

Darren surprised. "T-Tomatsu?"

When the smoke began to disappear, Tomatsu was already lying on the ground. The area around her place fell apart. He must have received a very strong blow so far.

"What's going on!?" Darren said confusion and shock. "What's going on, Shiro?"

Shiro answered. "So, when we were at the market..."

A Few Minutes Ago, On The Market...

"It's a fake" Tomatsu said, observing a magic stone displayed in a booth.

The merchant replied, "Don't just talk! Of course the stone is real."

Tomatsu grinned with a mocking look. "Huh, basic humans don't have brains. Obviously this stone doesn't emit any magic aura at all."

"Hey, watch your mouth! If you don't want to buy, don't protest!"

Tomatsu and the merchant clashed with each other while Shiro patted the eel watching.

"Tomatsu-sama, let's just go. We can tell Tora-kun that we didn't get the item he was looking for" Shiro said as he pulled Tomatsu.

"A, Remi-kun. What's up?" Ask Tomatsu.

Remi replied while panting. "Where's Darren-sama?"

"He's gone first with Tora-kun" replied Tomatsu.

"Great!" Remi Remi.

Shiro and Tomatsu were astonished.

"Why what?" Ask Shiro.

Remi was about to explain but he was in too much of a hurry, so Rendi took over the conversation.

"Actually right before you left, Mia and Robert came back and brought bad news" Rendi said. The faces of Tomatsu and Shiro instantly shriveled.

"They said that Tora had switched sides. It has been working with this Kingdom and Europe to capture Darren-sama" Rendi added.

In an instant the faces of Shiro and Tomatsu instantly tensed up.

"It's a lie, isn't it?" Shiro. "Tora-kun can't possibly do that."

Tomatsu also added, "Yes, right. Tora-kun won't betray us."

Rendi just lowered her head while slightly closed. "I know you probably won't believe this. But we better get down there and make sure Darren-sama is alone."

Shiro and Tomatsu became agitated. They both can't believe that Tora betrayed Darren. But to make sure, they finally agreed to catch up with Darren.

"All right, let's get there fast" Tomatsu said. "Darren-kun is at the west gate. We still have time to get there."

They immediately moved towards the place where Darren was heading, which was the west gate. They ran quickly through the crowd of people.

But the more to the west, they felt that the atmosphere was getting quieter. The crowd was getting less and less so they could move faster.

When they were far enough away from the crowd, now there were no more people. The path was quiet and silent, so their footprints could be heard quite clearly.

But, someone appeared in the middle of the road. The man was wearing a long robe-like garment with a headdress that covered his face.

"We're pretty close to the west gate. Darren-sama must be there!" Remi said to the others.

"Oh, in the west, huh?" The stranger suddenly replied.

He immediately jumped up and attacked them suddenly.

"Hell Flame!" Said the stranger.

A black flame was burning right in front of them. They immediately stopped and retreated to keep a safe distance.

"This fire-" Tomatsu immediately turned his head towards the man. "You!"

"We meet again, Tomatsu," said the man as he opened his hood. It was seen that he was wearing a mask and took out a long black sword with several blood-red streaks on the edge of his blade.

Tomatsu looked surprised when he saw the man. He even yelled at Shiro.

"Shiro, quickly go to Darren! Tell him to get out of here as soon as possible!" His shouting. "Say that he's here!"

Shiro did not understand what was happening. And the masked man, it looks like he's got something to do with Tomatsu. Tomatsu must have known him and he knew he was dangerous. But what does this have to do with Darren?

"Hurry up!" Shouted Tomatsu again.

Shiro immediately left Tomatsu, followed by Remi and Rendi behind him. If Tomatsu were that sweet, it would be that person was no ordinary person.

"It's not that easy" The man was about to chase Shiro, but Tomatsu stopped him.

"If you want to go there, you have to go through me first" Tomatsu said.

The man chuckled, "You haven't changed, Tomatsu. Even after a thousand years in prison."

The man started flying. His feet lifted from above the ground and began to soar high into the sky.

Tomatsu soon caught up with him. It turns half its physical density into dust so that it becomes light and drifts by utilizing the wind that blows.

"Talent of physical manipulation, yes. It looks like I just saw this," said the man. "Change your own body density and take advantage of your surroundings. Turns out you've changed a lot more than I thought."

"If my body isn't as dense as normal, but my hand will still feel the same" Tomatsu replied.

"really?" The man immediately shot through the air quickly. He clenched his hand and launched a fist towards Tomatsu.

"Slow!" Tomatsu quickly retaliated with a fist as well.

Their two hands finally met each other and were smashed. It is so strong that it produces strong vibrational waves. Strong enough to make some parts of the building fall out.

Their faces are so close. They exchanged serious looks and wanted to kill each other.

"Why are you protecting that man?" Asked the man while looking at Tomatsu's eyes sharply.

"It's none of your business" replied Tomatsu. "I'll protect him from you. Whatever way!"
