At that time, the day was as bright as usual. With Ravenna's control, Darren steps out of his house.
"Wow!!! Darren-sama!" The crowd of Lizardmen and Human Beasts immediately noisily shouted his name.
Darren's a little down. He blinked at Ravenna, with the intention of giving a sign.
"You back off a little bit. Darren needs to," Ravenna cut through the crowd, opening the way to the village hall.
"We've arrived, Darren," Ravenna said as she opened the door.
Darren comes in, followed by Ravenna behind him.
Inside, people were waiting for him. Kaido, the Goblin King, and Akira and his entire army.
"About you're better?" Darren asked worriedly.
Akira simply nodded while moving his hand, intending to give a sign that Darren was welcome to sit down.
"Darren-sama, do you remember me?" Tugo spoke up.
Darren was confused at first, but then he remembered.
"You were the Goblin King then, right!" Darren immediately spoke loudly while pointing at him.
Tugo smiled with relief. "Aha, luckily you remember me" he said. "I haven't introduced myself at the time. My name is Tugo, the head of the Goblin village of Albtraum forest."
"Then, what's up?" Darren asked the purpose of this meeting.
Kaido opens the conversation. "firstly. I, representing the entire Lizardmen, would like to thank you very much, Darren-sama," he said as he stood up and bowed.
"Ah, yes. Doesn't matter. Besides, Tugo and his friends helped a lot too."
Tugo blushed immediately.
Kaido continues the conversation. "And, if you don't mind, Darren-sama," he said, "We want you to be our master."
"Oh. Uh... EH!?" Darren was immediately wide-eyed. "T-Master!?"
"In essence, I feel bad about animals myself. I don't do much for them. And now, the Lizardmen also want to become my subordinates!?"
Darren patted his own cheek, as if to say, "Don't be lacklustre! A little napa spirit!" He then returned to reply to Kaido's request.
"You sure?"
"I'm sure, Darren-sama. Me and all the Lizardmen, have talked about this."
Darren was a little surprised. But he tried to be relaxed, even though he was experiencing a mental breakdown.
"h-huh. If that's your wish."
Kaido smiled with relief. He approached Darren and knelt before him.
"Thank you very much, Darren-sama. We won't let you down" he said.
Darren touched the shoulder of Kaido who was being knocked down. "Yes, equally. I'm happy if you're happy" he replied. "Please cooperate."
Akira who witnessed the incident, kept his head down. He seemed to be clasping his own fist hard. His friends were worried, but he said he was okay.
"Oh yeah, Darren," Saut Ravenna. "What are you going to do with this woman?" He pointed at Akira.
"Friedlich has nothing to do with this. They are also just victims in Accel's devious plan" Darren replied. "Let them decide their own desires."
Ravenna turned back to Akira, and saw him continue to harden his fist.
"Is he angry?" Mumbled Ravenna, "No. It looks more like feeling guilty."
Darren turned back to look at Tugo. "Then, Tugo-san. Yesterday I saw you coming along with Ravenna. How is the story you met? And, Ravenna, how do you know about this attack?"
Ravenna explained everything. About how he saw the Erobernesian troops in the city, eavesdropping on their plans and trailing until finally he accidentally encountered a strange Ogre.
"Ogre freaks?" Darren jerks.
Ravenna nodded. "Yes. He gave me an apple, and also this weapon." He also showed me his new black spear.
"How's his stature? Is it brown-skinned and two-horned, with glowing red eyes?" Connect Darren.
"Frightly so."
Darren frowned. "Is he Hioni? Yeah, it seems like it is. The characteristics are no longer wrong. And also, he gave Ravenna an apple, just as he did to me."
"I'm surprised you know the specifics, Darren. Are you his friend?" Ask Ravenna.
"Um. I've only ever met him."
"So so," said Ravenna. "It's really good. It was also he who made me meet the Goblins."
"Hm. somehow he seemed to know this was going to happen," Darren continued to frown. He was suspicious, and hesitant.
"Yes too. He seemed to know the ins and outs of all this," Ravenna frowned. "Well, she's a fortune teller, huh?"
Darren kept thinking. It is impossible if it happened by chance. There must be something, something hidden and maybe even absurd.
Darren turned to the spear that Ravenna was holding. If noticed, the spear was clearly made of the same metal as his sword.
"I'm more and more convinced that what Ravenna's meeting is Hioni. But the real question is. What does he want?"
Thinking too hard will not produce anything if the information used as the basis is not much. So Darren decided to put the matter aside first.
The ones on his mind now were Shiro and Tora. He has been gone longer than he promised. He was worried that something might happen to them.
"And, anu... Darren-sama. I also want to say something" Tugo said. "I'm sure the kingdom won't keep quiet. They'll definitely attack again."
"Then?"
"I propose to make an alliance" Tugo said.
"Alliances?"
"Yes. The alliance between the Lizardmen and the Goblins" Tugo continued. "If we unite forces. The chances of us winning will increase."
Darren. Although he knew that the Kingdom would definitely not attack them for a long time. One-third of their military power was destroyed. But he didn't tell them that.
"alright. That's not a bad idea" Darren said. "Please cooperate."
He packed up and walked to the village exit to the north.
"Sister Darren, are you leaving yet?" Takara suddenly came and pulled his sleeve.
Darren stopped stepping. He turned to look at Takara, Riuku, and also Ravenna who was behind him. He squatted down to equalize his height with Takara and stroked his head.
"Yes" he answered briefly.
Takara immediately looked sad. My ri tried to comfort her, but it didn't work.
"Don't worry Takara" Ravenna said. "Darren will definitely come back here again to play with you."
Takara's face instantly turned one hundred and eighty degrees. He smiled cheerfully. "Really?"
"Yes. Of course," Ravenna continued as she glared at Darren. "Are you right, Darren?"
"I-iya, it's true what Ravenna said. I will definitely come back again" Darren said.
"Yay!" Takara immediately jumped up in excitement. "Sound Onee-san? Darren's coming back, so you don't have to worry."
My riuku flinched and instantly covered Takara's mouth with her finger.
"Don't be hard, Takara!" He said slowly to his sister.
Ravenna turned towards Darren. He saw Darren's empty hand. He should have carried the sword, but he remembered that his sword had been destroyed by his own hand.
"Darren, your sword?"
"Ah, yes. I destroyed it" Darren replied.
"No! That's not what I meant" Ravenna said. "Are you going without a gun?"
"Ah, that's not a big deal. Even without weapons, I still have magic" Darren said confidently.
Darren continues his plan to leave. He waved his hand at Riuku, Takara, and Ravenna while walking away from the village.
"I'll wait, Brother Darren!" Shouted Takara from a distance.
.
.
.
By ourselves... Darren is alone.
He exhaled gently while muttering in his solitude.
"Ah, how are Shiro and Tora doing, huh? Did they get along?" Mumbled. "I hope they understand each other."
"I'm actually sorry for Shiro. His brother died when he wasn't next to him."
"If I were him, maybe I'd stay in my room for a few months. Spend time playing games and reading comics."
"Think, it turns out my life is sad too, yeah."
While walking and focusing on his murmur, suddenly a group of people appeared from above. They jumped from the top of the tree and landed right in front of Darren.
Darren quickly went straight into battle mode. He prepared his horses and stretched out his hand, preparing to launch magic.
"Darren, relax. It's me," Turns out it's Akira while showing his face.
Darren was relieved. "Ah. I guess who. I'm still not used to seeing you without a mask."
"You want to go back to Friedlich, right? Then let us come with you" Akira continued. "We also want to go home."
Darren agreed, even though he actually felt a little doubt about their presence.
"Alright," he said.
They walked together, just like before.
"About," said Darren. "In our previous fight. Are you holding back?"
Akira jerks. He remained silent not answering, and only lowered his head.
"I know you're holding back" Darren continued. "Your special magic is great. If you don't hold back, then I should've lost to you."
"You know what my magic is?" Akira.
"Not much. But I used it once" Darren replied while taking the sword out of his hand, just like Akira had done before.
Akira was surprised to see the sword. It was very similar to the magic he had. "Darren, what is this? How can you use this magic?"
"I have a talent for imitating someone's magic" Darren replied. "Like Copy-Paste."
"I've used your special magic. And it's very strong" Darren continued, removing his sword. "I've even run out of enough Mana."
"Huff. so it's been discovered, yes," Gerutu Akira. "Well, I can't bring out all my strength against you."
"Why? Were you tired at that time?"
"No. I can't fight you" replied Akira. "You are a fugitive. But on the other hand, in your absence, me and my army might have frozen to death because of that thing."
"Ah, Tomatsu?"
"Yes. And that's probably why I can't fight you" Akira said. "I can't fight the man who saved my life."
Darren breathed a sigh of relief. That means Akira's presence here is only to come home to his hometown, without any hidden plans.
"Ah, thank goodness. I thought you had come all of a sudden just to catch me," Darren exhaled.
"I don't intend to catch you anymore. Even though you have killed a lot of Erobernesian troops" Akira replied. "Their business remains their business. It has nothing to do with Friedlich."
"If they try desperately to catch you. So remember, that Friedlich is still wide open to welcome your arrival" Akira continued.
Darren nodded happily. He smiled and replied, "Thank you. I will fight to protect Friedlich as well."
Akira was shocked and did not understand Darren's words. But he replied with a smile as well.
"Yes, please cooperate."
