2 Days Later...
Darren woke up in a bed that felt very soft. His hand spontaneously touched the bed sheet and immediately knew that this was not the bed of the inn.
He looked around as his fingers groped into a very soft bed sheet. A beautiful sight immediately hit Darren's eyes.
The room is neatly arranged, with wide windows that present a view of the clear sky. A cool breeze blew through it and made Darren realize that this was the view of the castle room.
"Ah yes, yesterday I passed out," Inner Darren. He got out of his bed and found his body clean. His clothes were replaced with new clothes.
"Some who really wants to change my clothes. May my old clothes not slip, " said Darren as he walked closer to the window.
He felt a cold breeze touch his skin. From a distance he saw the city of Fueno that looked different than usual.
He remembered his first day in Fueno. At that time, the view felt very seedy. Many tramps filled the outskirts of the street and people's faces looked depressed.
But now, despite only looking from afar, he could feel the excitement that was happening in the city. Every now and then, he could even hear the sound of cheering echoes from the city.
As Darren was enjoying the scene while wondering what happened, suddenly someone appeared from the door of his room.
"Darren, you're awake" said one man who is none other than Dyland. Clara walks with Shiro and Tora.
"Oh, Dyland-san. How are you?" Darren was surprised by Dyland's performance. "Ehh!? What the fuck are your clothes?"
Dyland appeared in magnificent clothes. His clothes looked similar to the previous Demon King clothes and Dyland looked perfectly suited to those clothes.
"Eh. You don't know yet" Clara cut. "Now Dyland is the King of Avon!"
The news surprised Darren. What exactly happened two days ago?
"R-King? Does that mean Dyland becomes the Demon King?" Ask Darren as he approaches.
"Technically it may be, '" replied Clara. He also idly looked at his brother who even looked fed up with his sister's attitude.
"It feels strange that a Devil who cannot master the fire spell leads the Avon. But how else," Dyland said.
"What exactly happened?" Ask Darren.
Dyland. "Yesterday, when we woke up from fainting. Several military personnel have come to the scene. They saw Ryan's head lying down and were shocked."
Dyland then turned his head towards Clara. "And this Demon King, he said that I killed Ryan" he said. "And according to the provisions. Who can kill the Demon King before, then that person will get the throne. But right, I didn't really kill him."
Clara just grinned withholding her laughter. "There are no suitable candidates anymore" Clara said. "I have known your nature quite well. And I was thinking, maybe you'd be fit to be the King who leads the Avon."
Dyland folded his hands. "Huff, I just thought I knew this was gonna be a real hassle. But I think I'll try."
"Well, so dong. His Excellency Dyland-sama," Clara said.
"Stop! What the hell is that call."
The whole room was filled with laughter. Clara constantly teases her brother. Shiro and Tora approach Darren.
"Darren-sama," Shiro said with a blushing face.
"Shiro that. What's up?" Sahut Darren in a tone of wonder. "Is there something wrong?"
"A-Anu. about you said yesterday," Shiro's face turned red. He also began to cover his face. "Yesterday you said we were family, right?"
Darren nodded. "Yes. We are family. Why why?"
Shiro started acting strange. He was sweating and his face was very red.
"A-Anu, I-I want to ask s-something-" Shiro seemed to be trying to say something, but he seemed to have trouble saying it because of groggy.
At that moment, Tora cut her words. "Ah, Darren-sama. It seems that Shiro-sama was still exhausted from the battle yesterday" Tora said.
Tora turned to Shiro and pulled him away. "Come Shiro-sama. You need to rest."
"B-But, I-I want to wonder--"
"Yes yes, that's it. Don't force. You can say it next time."
Tora took Shiro out of the room. While Darren watched it with a face of astonishment.
"What's wrong with them?" Thought Darren.
He then turned to Clara who was still teasing Dyland earlier. "Then, what happened in Fueno?"
"It looks like you can hear the festive cheers all the way here, yes" Clara said. "They're celebrating the rise of a new leader."
"Is it usually that exciting?"
"Usually no. But since the tyranny of Demon King Ryan had finally collapsed, they felt very happy and celebrated even more festively."
Dyland. "Saking happy, they don't even care if the King who leads them now can't use fire magic" he said.
"I don't think it's a problem, do I?" Darren.
"For now maybe not. However the Demon King who had led the Avon from generation to generation, was always a fire magic user. And I don't" replied Dyland. "It feels like, maybe in the future, people will start doubting me over this."
Clara patted Dyland's shoulder. "Just calm down, Onii-sama. If they doubt you, I will advance as a True Demon King in front of them" Clara said with a laugh.
"Stop calling me that."
"Ah, yes. Sorry sorry."
Darren frowned. "Clara-san, aren't you going to show your real identity to the public?"
Clara shakes. "Of course not. It would create a commotion for sure," he said. "About the True Demon King, and the origin of your arrival from another world. Better not get leaked to the public."
"Yes," said Dyland. "Seeing from the current situation, the government is still trying to recover from yesterday's events. It would be dangerous if anyone took advantage of this to damage Avon. So it's best not to let anyone know other than us."
"Then, Hain and Good?" Ask Darren.
After saying that, Darren only realized something. "By the way, where's Nice and Hain?"
Clara answered. "Good being held in the basement. And Hain was assigned to look after him."
Dyland. "I told him to take good care of it. I think Hain could dig up some information from him, because they used to be pretty close to the rebel forces."
"Oh, I see," replied Darren. "I hope everything's okay."

Meanwhile, in the dark room located below the castle. Hain was sitting on a small chair in front of the thick iron bars.
He just sat there, staring at someone behind bars who was none other than Good.
It's good to just sit on the ground doing nothing. His hands were handcuffed by a chain tied to the prison floor. His face just looked down without saying anything.
Silence enveloped both of them. None of them spoke or wanted to talk. They wanted to say something to each other, but were too afraid to start.
"Other."
"Good."
The two of them instantly fell silent when they realized they were trying to talk at the same time.
"You go first."
"Just go first."
Again they say it at the same time.
"Ha ha, we repeat it again," said Good slowly.
"Yes. It feels weird, doesn't it," said Hain in an awkward tone.
The situation almost returned to silence, but Bagus took the initiative to open the conversation.
"Anu, Hain. I'd like to apologize about Samson" said Good. "I also want to apologize for everything. Because of me, everything's like this."
Hain shook his head. "No. I understand what it's like to be you" Hain replied. "You don't have much of a choice, do you? If I were you, maybe I'd do the same."
Hain. "It's all wrong to send you into this world. Not that I hate your presence here. But if you don't come here, maybe nothing bad will happen" Hain said.
Good nods. "Yes. After all, it is better if we remain in our respective worlds. But, what exactly was the purpose of them calling us here?"
"Did the Holy Church not give any information?"
"No. Not even the whole Church knows about my origins. Only Deus is."
Hain folded his hands. "Then, did the Holy Priestess just use you to infiltrate this country?"
"I think yes. Since I only arrived here since two months ago, this is my first mission," Reply Good. "He just assigned me to control Ryan's memory. Therefore, Ryan caused the people to suffer and hoped that it could lure out a True Demon King."
"So Deus knew that the True Demon King was still alive, yes," Hain stroked his chin. "What is the purpose?"
"I think I know" Reply Good again. "I've heard him talk about the hunt for the Demon King."
"P-Hunting Demon King? What is that for?"
Good shakes. "I don't know much. But I've also heard him talk to himself. He said: The will of the gods must be fulfilled. But why should I? Because now you're me. No, I don't want to do this. You should be grateful, because God has chosen this body."
Hain was increasingly curious as to what that conversation meant. "She speaks so to herself?"
Good nods. "Yes. I can't hear you wrong."
"But doesn't that sound like he's talking to someone?" Mumbles Hain. "All right then. I'll report everything to Dyland."
Hain moved out of his chair. He was about to leave, but then stopped while glancing at Good.
"Good, do you really want to go home?" Ask Hain.
Good to raise his face. Then Hain continued, "I mean, there you have no one else, right?"
Good to answer with a smile. "I'll keep coming home. After all, it is my birthplace."
"But have you ever thought of staying here?" Connect Hain. "I mean, everything has happened. I don't care if you stay either. I've also forgotten what happened in the rebel forces."
"It's not. There is a saying: It is better to hail stones in your own country, than to rain gold in the land of people" Reply Good. "I didn't expect anyone to wait for me to come home. After all, wouldn't it be better if we were where we were supposed to be."
Hain nodded grimly. "so yeah. Maybe you're right," he said. His tone was also a little crumpled even though his face was trying to cover it.
He continued his steps to the door. But he suddenly raised his hand upward with a protruding thumb. He also shouted loudly.
"I'll help you figure out a way to get home. I promise," he said.
Nice faltered. "Thank you, Hain."
"For now, you must languish here until the King's decree is handed down. But I'm sure Dyland won't make a no-no decision" Hain said. "I'll see you again tomorrow."
"alright. See you soon."
