"Torah! Shiro! Run!" Darren Shouts.
Darren no longer cared what would happen to him. Even if he was going to die, he was more concerned with the safety of his two comrades.
Succubus' fist almost hit Darren's head when he suddenly stopped. Succubus's face immediately turned pale and his eyes blanked.
Soon, a cold, soft wind blew in the room. They were far away from the entrance of the dungeon.
"W-What's going on?" Darren Mumbled.
Seeing that there was an opportunity, Darren immediately moved and left the dangerous position.
"Tora, Shiro, stay away" Darren said as he stood up. He did not want to get his two friends involved in danger again.
Tora and Shiro immediately moved away. Meanwhile, Darren still continued to be wary of Succubus who was fixated still.
Suddenly as Darren was watching him, the Succubus turned his head. His gaze returned and he seemed to want to attack Darren again, but his body became stiff.
"What have you done?" Said the Succubus furiously.
Darren himself was confused. He is not clear on what happened. Not until suddenly another voice came.
"Not him, but me" said the voice that was nothing but Tomatsu's voice.
Tomatsu has possessed the body of Succubus that makes it unable to move freely. It turns itself into ice dust and enters the body of the Succubus through breathing.
Even Tomatsu's voice seemed to be heard from the middle of nowhere.
"Damn. Who're you?" Said the Succubus while trying to move.
"Don't pretend you don't know, Serina. I thought we'd known you a long time ago" Reply Tomatsu.
Serina the succubus's face immediately turned pale. He finally knew who he was talking to.
"Tomatsu-sama?" Said slowly. "Is that really you?"
Tomatsu finally came out of Serina's body. He emerged from a pile of snowflakes and showed his physique.
"Yes, it's me" Tomatsu said. He pointed at Darren. "Stay away from the young man."
"No way!" Serina cut straight. "Don't try to trick me. Tomatsu-sama couldn't have come just to save this human being."
Tomatsu looked a little annoyed, but he tried to hide it in order to preserve his Demon King image.
"Don't make me angry, Serina. Or you'll know the consequences" Tomatsu is more serious than ever.
"Harajar me. That way I can see who you really are" Reply Serina.
Tomatsu immediately clenched his hands and, Swoosh, he moved quickly without any fuss.
Serina looks surprised, but she replies with her room manipulation spell.
"Dark Elemental: Non-Eucli-" But before he finished his chant, Tomatsu had already hit him first.
Buaakk! A hard bump landed on Serina's stomach. He was shocked at the speed Tomatsu had. His stomach was about to break and he was bleeding from his mouth.
Darren saw Tomatsu's truly remarkable action. It is no wonder how Tomatsu destroyed the city walls.
"You have underestimated me, Serina. Then I'll make sure you don't underestimate me again next time" Tomatsu said as he gritted his palm.
Serina stood up. He felt a tremendous pain in his stomach. When he saw it, his stomach had turned purple due to bruises.
His face clearly endured the pain. He may want to moan, but he keeps trying to look intimidating even if it's pointless.
"Dark Elemental: Non-Eu-" Again before he tried to utter his spell, Tomatsu had already moved back and did not give him a chance.
"He's fast" Serina bounced to the point of making him paralyzed.
Tomatsu turned away from her as if unconcerned and approached Darren.
"Thank God you're alive" Tomatsu said.
"You know him?" Sahut Darren with eyes fixed on Serina who was lying on the ground.
"Hm. He's an old friend" replied Tomatsu.
"Is this how you treat a friend?" Thought Darren. "Actually, what made you think of bringing me here?" Darren continued, talking about his training.
"Then, what exactly is this place?" Ask Darren again.
"This is one of the dungeons built by my best friend. He is also one of the seven True Demon Lords" Tomatsu replied.
Darren nodded. "It's no wonder he has such a strong subordinate."
Shortly after, Serina stood up. Staggering, he slowly walked towards the two of them.
Upon arriving before the two of them, Serina immediately threw her body onto the ground and knelt down.
"I'm sorry, Tomatsu-sama. I have doubted you" he said with his face down.
Tomatsu replied to him with a cold response. "Whatever. I was originally thinking of killing you all."
Serina then turned to look towards Darren. "I'm sorry. I didn't think that you were Tomatsu-sama's subordinate."
Darren smiled awkwardly while scratching his head. "Y-Well, if you say subordinates seem less precise anyway. But yasudah."
"You've made a big mistake, Serina. You must accept punishment" Tomatsu said, folding his hands. He now looks authoritative in such a style.
"Well, Tomatsu-sama. Your orders are also a wish for me" Serina replied. He doesn't even look to fight at all.
Tomatsu grinning. "The bone in your stomach is broken" he pointed towards Serina's bruised stomach. "You'll only have one more week. After that, then you'll die because your internal organs will be torn because of the bone fragments."
Darren flinched when he saw Serina just kept her head down without seeming any objection at all.
The bruises on the stomach were very bad. With the naked eye alone, the purple color of the bruise looked unusual. If an ordinary human were to suffer such injuries, he would definitely not last for half an hour.
"I understand, Tomatsu-sama. I deserve this" Serina said softly.
After that, Tomatsu left the place speechless. He took Darren and two of his friends out of the dungeon.
Serina kept holding her stomach. Due to her pain, tears slowly came out of her eyes involuntarily.
"Sick once in a while..." Stimulants.
He immediately went to a room nearby. There he sat in an old chair, staring at the dusty ceiling as he continued to hold onto his stomach. The pain made him groan constantly. To die in this way must be very painful.
"I want to see him before I die" he said. "At least I can get permission before I leave."
On the chair, he curled up. Buried his face between both arms while enduring the immense pain.
For a moment, he thought about suicide. He knew he would eventually die. Waiting for his death to pick him up in a painful death, he could not resist it.
He slowly raised both hands. He pointed it at his own face and cast a spell.
"Non-Elemental Spell: Wit-" But suddenly his hand felt heavy. "What's this?" Mumbled.
Suddenly...
"Are you a coward?" It was Darren. He clasped Serina's hand and managed to quash his intention to commit suicide. "When you are strong. But it turns out you're weaker than I imagined."
Serina stared. A brown eye that was sparkling and unique to him.
"You think your master will be pleased with your decision?" Connect Darren with a serious look.
Serina still holds back the pain. He didn't want to show it because for him it might ruin his reputation.
"That's it. It seems like your thinking is too shallow," Darren suddenly crouched down. He groped Serina's stomach and cast a spell, "Non-Elemental Spell: Ultra Heal."
The pain immediately subsided. Serina even felt her body become light. He had never felt his body this light before.
He's surprised. Broken bones as severe as it can heal completely. But what made him even more surprised was Darren's intention to help him.
"Why are you doing this?" Ask Serina. "You don't mean to make me feel indebted, do you?"
Darren laughs. "Of course not" he replied. "You still want to see your Master, right?"
Darren moved up and stood in front of Serina. "I can imagine how sad your Master would be if he lost someone strong to him."
Serina's gaze became focused on Darren's mouth movements. It was as if he had heard these words before.
"The point is, I don't want to find trouble with your master. So, I say hello, yes" Darren left without saying anything more. He immediately followed Tomatsu and the others out of the dungeon.
Meanwhile, Serina was still stunned to see that extremely unique human behavior.
