Chaptre 99. Reggie's blood

"Dad......Are you ready?" Reggie stepped closer to Eloy who came out of the living room using crutches.

"Already Regina......You don't have to bother driving me, honey." Eloy welcomes her daughter's embrace and caresses Regina's growing belly.

"How are you doing today?"

"He's okay dad. Just a little naughty lately," Regina replied with a smile.

"Snake?"

Regina nodded." Now he kicks me often."

Eloy Sanchez laughed happily and kissed the top of her daughter's head.

"Come on....We're leaving."

Eloy and Regina enter a car driven by a bodyguard prepared by Mike. Since her pregnancy grew, Reggie was accompanied by a bodyguard who acted as her driver. Unbeknownst to Reggie, Nick and Fidel are also assigned to shadow him since Mike feels that his wife is being followed by a stalker. There were actually Shawn and Rico, but after the situation calmed down and there were no signs of the stalker still following Regina, Shawn and Rico were pulled off to do other tasks.

Reggie accompanied his father to visit an internist, an internal medicine doctor who treated his father's hypertension. They will control and take the drugs. After the visit is over and the medicine his father has redeemed, Reggie invites his father back into the car and mentions his next destination to Edward the bodyguard who drives his car.

The bodyguard frowned and tried to argue. " lady.....Sir says...."

Reggie immediately cut the bodyguard's words. " Come Edward....I won't be long. I just miss him."

Edwars took a deep breath looking at the sad face of the Madam. He finally gave up and nodded.

"Is it okay to go there without telling Lucius and Mike, Gina?" Eloy Sanchez was a little worried knowing about the reason Lucius and Mike tightened the guard on Regina.

"I can't tell them, Dad. They've had a lot of fear since I got pregnant and my womb grew. They will not allow or will give excessive guard if I say so. I just want to see Mom for a minute."

Eloy took a deep breath "Okay ..ayo we go Edward, to the Sky family burial ground ...."

Lord Eloy's orders finally led Edward to comply. They drove and split the crowded streets, continuing to drive towards the Sky land area which was in a quiet lane and far from the traffic and the hustle of the city.

Edward glanced back and was relieved that Nick and Fidel were following his car from a distance.

In their car following from a distance, Nick and Fidel frowned following Edward's car.

"Mr Mike would be furious if he knew Edward was bringing them here" Nick said.

"Yes......But I think Reggie forced him on Nick. You know how our mistress isn't. Mr. Eloy can't force it" replied Fidel.

"You're right......Hope nothing happens. You see anything weird?"

Nick and Fidel watched from afar, almost twenty minutes later Reggie finally showed up alone and got into the car. The young mistress's eyes looked reddened in tears.

"Where is Mr. Eloy, his Lady....." Edward frowned.

"Wait a minute. I need some alone time with Mom....." Reggie Whisper.

Edward nodded and kept the unpleasant feeling that lingered in his heart. He peeked and felt relieved when he saw Nick and Fidel's car was still seen stopping not far from there.

A few moments later, the incident happened quickly. Four gunmen came from the turn of the road in front of the car and leaned towards Edward.

Edward did nothing. Nick and Fidel start shooting while taking cover from behind the car. The three men who had shot Edward changed direction to shoot at Nick and Fidel while taking cover behind Reggie's car.

One of the men got in the back of the car and tried to pull Reggie's body.

"You want what you guys!!" Reggie. He tried to punch the man in the face, but a gun hit his head violently made blood splash out of Reggie's nose and tear his temple. Reggie hugged his own stomach, the last thing he could do to protect his baby before the darkness took hold.

The man who hit Reggie waited for a moment, a car came back from behind them.The man in the car shot Fidel and Nick who did not expect to come help from the killers. The car screeched to a stop next to Reggie's car.

Reggie was forcibly pulled out of the back seat, his blood dripping and spreading across the leather material of the beige upholstery as his head was pulled out of the car .

The men moved Reggie into their car, and then it quickly passed and disappeared at the turn of the road where their other two cars were waiting.

Eloy Sanchez watched it all, he tried to run and throw away crutches that felt troublesome to him. But his legs weakened and he fell. He sees one kidnapper getting shot and the other immediately pulls him when a car comes and they move Regina. His face was already filled with blood. Then the man took out something and threw it into the car before it passed from there.

Eloy shouted, but the sound that came out was just a groan. He chased by dragging his unwilling body over the concrete path between the tombs, Eloy shifted her body with all her might as she reached out toward the car that had been carrying her daughter away wide-eyed.

"Don't hurt my daughter........."
