Chaptre 90. Elope

Mike glanced at Regina who finally fell asleep next to him. He drove his car along the line through the Snake River.

After getting off the plane, he immediately took in Regina who was still confused and continued to protest. Mike rents a car and drives himself down the path that takes them through the trees and eventually to the Snake River village. Mike was still driving towards the hill, to the front of the wooden house where three men were waiting for him in front of the steps.

It was dark and Regina was still curled up in the seat next to Mike. Mike came down and smiled broadly at Homer who spread out his arms welcoming Mike with a warm embrace. Mike hugged the old man.

"I'm sorry I had to trouble you" said Mike softly.

Homer patted Mike on the back repeatedly. "I'm happy, my son."

Then alternately Mike greeted Homer's nephew, Marc who smiled widely welcomed him. Lastly, Mike greeted Nick who had come first two days ago on Mike's orders.

"It's all set according to your plan, sir."

Mike nodded and smiled. "Thank you, Nick."

"Well ... Where is he?" Homer grinned and patted Mike on the shoulder. Mike glanced at the car and smiled.

"He's exhausted, Uncle. Falling asleep in the car" Mike said, pointing to the car.

"Then move him. The air will be very cold in a moment" Homer said.

Mike nodded. Walk towards the passenger door and bring out Reggie who is soundly asleep. The girl was a little angry because all her questions were deliberately not answered by Mike, she protested and rambled along the way until finally her body gave up and fell asleep.

Mike held Reggie in a heavy jacket and brought him inside the house.

"You can put him there, Mike." Homer points to a bedroom and Mike immediately takes Regina there.

He laid Regina still closed and immediately pulled the blanket covering Regina's body up to the chest. Mike smiled and peeked at the small red lips that were clenching it, then moved to kiss Regina's forehead. It was very longing for Mike to linger looking at his girlfriend who was asleep, but Homer must have been waiting for him outside.

"You're gonna go down to Snake River village with Marc before morning, Mike." Homer. Mike glanced at Marc who nodded and smiled at him.

"Good, Uncle ." Mike smiled broadly.

"Miss ... Miss, wake up."

Reggie felt someone shake his shoulder. He turned his back on the voice and the body of the person who woke him. There was a soft laugh from the man. Reggie opened his eyes, turning narrowed. A girl standing with a big smile on the side of her bed looked unfamiliar.

"You who?" ask Reggie in a hoarse voice.

"I'm Lily and I'll help you" she said smiling.

"Now get up, we have to get ready so that it's not too late" the girl said as she opened the blanket covering Reggie.

Reggie frowned, Where are you getting ready? Thought wonder. He looked around, a strange room.

"Where's Mike?" ask Reggie again.

"That's why we need to get ready, miss. We'll meet him in the village" Lily smiled.

The girl pulled Regina to her feet, then called for a series of orders to have Regina take a bath, she even helped wash regina's hair when reggie was forced into a simple bathtub that was already filled with warm water. Reggie did not refuse because his body felt very comfortable when touching warm water, and lily massage on his scalp made him relax.

After Lily started dressing Regina, she wore a white dress under her knees with her back slightly open. Her hair was allowed to stretch over her back, Lily just clamped a little bit of the hair that was already on the spin from the left and right sides of her ears and put it together behind with a pearl pinch, which she had been wearing, then along the swirl of hair was decorated with small white flowers that contrasted sharply with black reggie hair.

Thin makeup polish makes Reggie's face look fresher. She looked like a girl who would be a companion in someone's wedding, especially when Lily gave her a bouquet of flowers.

"Hold this .. I'll change my clothes for a while" said the girl, then she pulled out a cream-colored knee-length gown. Lily also scratched her hair.

"We're going to the wedding?" ask Reggie. Lily nodded quickly and then pulled reggie's arm out of the room.

Outside, Homer and Nick are waiting. The two got up from their seats and bowed their bodies greeting Regina.

"Nick's? You're here?" Reggie, who knew Nick as a bodyguard in Mike's apartment, asked in surprise.

"Right, Miss ...," said Nick smiling. Reggie shook his hand.

"Not call me Reggie like I used to, Nick!" he said, then he moved to look at Homer, "and you are?"

"If I may say so, I am Uncle Michael. I've seen it grow up since childhood."

"Oh .. Nice to know you, Uncle." Reggie immediately greeted Homer warmly. Homer smiled, feeling very understanding why Mike fell in love with this warm beautiful girl with sparkling eyes.

"Let's go. Mike must have been waiting for us" said Homer.

Reggie sees Homer and Nick wearing a neat tuxedo complete with a bow tie.

"We're going to attend the wedding, Uncle?" ask Reggie. Homer answered with a big smile while nodding.

They arrived in front of a small church in the village. The atmosphere was very quiet, so Reggie doubted if there was a wedding that would be on the title there. He welcomes Homer's outstretched hand to him and follows immediately as Homer steps slowly toward the church door holding him.

When Homer stopped at the door, he turned and spoke to Reggie.

"I hope you'll let me drive you my son ...."

Reggie frowned and stared in surprise, Nick pushed the door wide open and Reggie turned his head inside.

Steadily, Reggi stared inwardly. Mike was already standing there, looking very handsome with the black tuxedo he was wearing, not far behind him stood Marc who was accompanying him. Homer began to step up, making Reggie tightly grip the old man's arm.

"Sttt .. Don't be nervous My son. The man up ahead loves you so much, he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, loving and protecting you."

Reggie looked at Homer's eyes, which were nodding towards him. He gulped, then looked back at the gray eyes in front of him who were standing there staring at him in front of the waiting priest.

Homer again tried to step up, this time Regina's slow steps followed. The black speck of the girl's eyes never escaped the man who stood looking at her in front of her. Lily appeared to be accompanying from behind with slow steps. Regina realizes she is the bride of this wedding and Lily is her escort girl.

up in front of Mike, Homer hands the trembling reggie's hand to the large hand that welcomes him warmly, a soft squeeze of reggie it feels in his trembling hand. They stared at each other briefly before finally looking together at the priest.

Everything went like a dream. Reggie and Mike made the promise wholeheartedly, when a ring had been pinned to Reggie's ring finger by Mike and looked into the man's eyes covered in immense love for him, reggie's tears are flowing.

Reggie was still crying when they had come out and stood in front of the church door.

"Stttttt .. don't cry. Forgive my selfishness, Regina. Your family is not present and is watching this. I'm sorry ...." Mike hugged his bride. Regina's tears were flowing profusely, her feelings were uncertain.

Homer waited for the couple to let go of the hug before finally coming to them.

"Blessed. I'm sure everything will be fine after this." Homer lifts Mike's bride's chin still crying. He wiped away the tears with a shady smile.

"Don't cry .. You'll make your groom feel more guilty" Homer said.

Reggie was finally able to smile a little, he then welcomed Homer's warm embrace which then released him with teary eyes. Homer instead hugged Mike , this time the old man was really crying.

"I hope after this you'll follow me. I'm going home, Uncle ...."

The words left Homer very surprised, he took off his hug and looked at Mike in disbelief.

"Yes. I'm going home" said Mike hoarsely, Homer sparkling and nodding happily.

"I'm so happy, my son .. I'll think about it" said Homer, brushing his nose.

The couple take turns receiving congratulations and prayers from Lily and Marc, who turn out to be lovers, both of whom are desperate to get married after seeing the loving marriage between Mike and Reggie.

"Go home, Nick. Tell me the truth if Derek asks. Just to Derek, Nick ...."

Nick nodded, then bowed his body before finally leaving and drove the small group back home on the hill. Leave the newlywed couple who will start their togetherness as a married couple from now on.
