Chapters 77. Bruised

Lance looked at Doctor Lawrence examining the awakened Eloy Sanchez. The light from the doctor's penlight illuminated Mr. Eloy's pupils. A moment later he smiled and looked with Eloy's black eyes open.

Lance saw Reggie standing behind his brother. Both of his hands clasped Lucius's upper arms. Anxiety covered the look on the girl's face. While Lord Lucius who had worn his shirt again looked eagerly at Doctor Lawrence.

"How, Doctor?" ask Lucius.

"I'm so happy to see you open your eyes, my friend ...." Lawrence's doctor removed a clear liquid that threatened to come out of the corner of his eye. He looked at Lucius.

"Thank God our prayers are finally answered, Lucius. Your father has really regained consciousness." Doctor Lawrence looked back at Eloy who was looking back at Lucius' pair of black eyes. The clear liquid came back down the corner of Eloy's eye. Lucius immediately approached and clasped his father's hand, causing Reggie, who was holding tightly to his arm, to be dragged closer.

"Dad ...." Then as if a tightness was squeezing his chest, Lucius stopped talking. He was crying too.

"I really miss you ...."

A pair of Eloy's black eyes moved to the face that was behind Lucius, looking clear and the same as his own.

Lucius released Regina's grip on his arm, then pulled Regina standing beside him.

"You see? He's back." Lucius puts Reggie's hand into his father's grasp, which immediately closes, holding Reggie's hand. Clear circles are getting louder down their cheeks. His father opened his mouth, was seen advancing his lips and trying hard to say one word with difficulty.

"... ina ...." The lip movement only let out a soft sound at the end of Regina's name. Reggie cried loudly, took off his father's grasp and hugged his father's body on the bed.

"Yes, Dad. I'm really Regina ...."

The sound of crying adorned the room. Lawrence's doctor and nurse immediately resigned themselves to Lance while wiping away the tears with their arms. Leaving the family to let go of all the feelings, Lance also stepped out and sat on the sofa looking into the glass room.

"Thankful ... You're finally awake, Mr. Eloy. Your two children are all here." Lance looked down deeply, giving thanks in his heart and hoping that the family would finally be completely free of their bad past.

Moments after waking up and crying, Eloy looked very tired, as if her strength was running out. He finally fell asleep again. Reggie never left his side. He continued to look into his father's eyes, as if waiting as they opened and woke up again.

Lucius opened the glass door and stood up while holding the door.

"Come here" said Lucius, waiting for Reggie to get up and follow him into the waiting room. They sit on the couch.

"What's wrong?" Reggie looked worriedly and then looked at his father. Guess Lucius brought bad news after coming out a while ago to see a doctor.

"No .. no, Gina. This isn't about dad. Dad's fine. Doctor Lawrence said he needed sleep to recover. Some time it will be easy to feel tired. So his body needs enough rest."

Reggie breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank God" he said slowly.

"It's about Amy ... Derek called. He wants to know if you can come to the hospital now. Amy's gonna give birth ...."

Reggie turned back to his father.

"If you want to go there, I'll take you. Lance will wait here until Madam comes here."

Reggie seemed hesitant and looked back at his father in the room behind the glass.

"Dad's gonna be fine until we get back. Doctor Lawrence said it might take a few hours until you finally open your eyes again. This sleep is very necessary for his recovery. So we can go see Amy for a minute."

"Be ...really?" Reggie stared expectantly at his older brother who immediately nodded.

Lance came and immediately approached his master.

"I will look after Mr. Eloy while waiting for Madam, Sir. You go with Miss" said Lance .

"We're leaving, Gina?" Lucius stood up and extended his hand towards Reggie who was still sitting on the sofa. Reggie looked up and looked at the big outstretched hand. He nodded and welcomed the hand that immediately grasped his fingers.

"We go first, Lance. Please take care of me." Lucius stepped in with Regina .They left Lance who breathed a sigh of relief seeing the attitude of his master who was seen starting to melt on his sister.

They arrived in front of the hospital. Lucius parked the car and held Reggie's shoulder to the elevator. Reggie sounded grimacing in pain.

"What's wrong? You why?" lucius asked with a frown. They stopped in front of the elevator.

Reggie shook his head with a smile. Cursing his lips were involuntarily grimacing as Lucius touched the bruise on his shoulder. Reggie knew his upper arms, shoulders and hips were bruised by Lucius' actions, which pushed him many times to the ground. He tried to save his pain and bought himself medicine to reduce the pain.

"Come .. Let's go in. Amy must be in the delivery room."

Reggie switched the conversation and pulled Lucius' hand to get into the elevator.
