Chapters 71. Revealed

"Come here." Doctor Lawrence extended her hand to Regina. Anxiously Reggie looked towards his older brother who was visibly nodding. Reggie comes and welcomes the hands of the old doctor who has been taking care of his father for months.

"You were a miracle to him. Your presence is the medicine that makes him able to bounce back. Today we can remove the breathing machine from your father's body, he still has to use the oxygen we flow through the mask. So far his body has responded very well. Talk and always give him spirit."

Doctor Lawrence clasped Reggie's hand with one hand, then patted her shoulder with the other, his eyes looking with appreciation at Lucius.

"You really found it. Eloy must be so happy when she wakes up." Doctor Lawrence nodded his head at Lucius.

After the doctors and nurses had passed from the room, Lucius immediately walked out of his father's room and coded Lance who had been waiting, They will return to the office. Reggie immediately came out and chased after his brother.

"Lucius?" Reggie's hesitant voice made Lucius stop his steps and turn around.

"What's wrong?"

"Umm .. Did Mike ever call you?"

"Why is that?"

"No. There's no." The cold answer from her brother made Reggie stop asking.

Lucius again stepped out of the room with Lance following behind.

Reggie wanted to ask if Mike had ever contacted her brother. If so, Reggie wants his brother to ask about the bracelet his mother gave him that is still held by Mike. Reggie wants him back. The only memory of his mother. But his intention was unsettled after hearing the cold response from his brother.

Amy Langton felt very uncomfortable, she set her body tilted so that her breath was more relieved. But it doesn't feel better either. Her growing pregnancy makes Amy difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. Usually Derek will lean on the bed, then set his wife's body to lean on his chest, that position can make Amy finally fall asleep comfortably in Derek's arms.

After going back and forth and even arranging pillows and leaning on the bed did not also allow her to sleep, Amy decided to get out of the room and look for her husband. He believes Derek is still chatting with Mike, Eve and Alex. Amy asks them to have more dinner together since Reggie left, but is slightly comforted when she sees the mansion buzzing with Eve's babbling and their laughter. Amy stepped slowly in the corridor, her lightweight room slippers were soft and made no noise when she walked.

Arriving in the casual room where they used to chat after dinner, Amy saw Alex who was on her back, the red hair that appeared on Alex's shoulder made Amy frown.

Eve's? Is that Eve?

Amy smiled broadly. Stop for a moment to look at the position of the two people. Eve's body is completely covered by Alex's large body. Only a flurry of red hair was visible on Alex's lowered shoulder.

Oh, my God .. they kiss.

As fast as lightning Amy stepped back. Trying to manage to keep her steps from making a sound, a big, silly smile was still on Amy's lips when she reached the door of Derek's study.

"No! I'm not gonna give you that bracelet!"

Mike's angry and loud voice makes Amy stop in front of the door of Derek's workspace that is slightly open.

"Don't let it go, Lucius! You blocked my call, then once you needed to call me!"

Amy didn't mean to eavesdrop. But hearing Lucius' name he became very curious.

"Tell him, let's meet Reggie in person. You're gonna give Reggie that bracelet straight away." Derek's voice chiming in Mike and Lucius' conversation on the phone left Amy in shock.

Reggie's? Lucius?

"I know you're his guardian now. His real brother! No need to bother telling me!"

Amy held onto the wall with one hand hearing the sentence Mike had thrown just now and the other hand held her thumping chest.

A guardian? A sibling?

"Then we don't have to talk! I refuse to give it back to you!" Mike turned off the phone very upset.

"Why the little sister he was looking for had to be Regina. Why not someone else!" lamented Mike.

Amy felt her heart thump.

A sister? Reggie Lucius' sister?

Derek chuckled at Mike's complaint.

"I hope Lucius will immediately withdraw his decision to lock up Reggie" Mike lamented.

"They have to finish it, Mike. Lucius needs to erase his past grudge on Reggie's mother, forgiving the crimes Marinna once committed by force and Reggie must also confront his older brother. Maybe Reggielah can heal Lucius' wounds" Derek comforted.

The revenge of the past? Amy clenched her hand.

"I knew. That's why I just kept quiet, giving time to Lucius and Regina. But the man also has no right to forbid Regina to meet anyone she wants. I'm sure Lucius locked Reggie in that mansion."

Mike's words made Amy very slowly turn around. Amy realized she had been lied to all this time. Derek knows where Reggie is, and so does Mike. But no one felt the need to tell him that.

With a tight molar, Amy stepped up, walking through the hallway to the lounge where Eve, who saw Amy's arrival, immediately broke away from Alex.

"Amy!" eve gelagapan. But Amy kept walking, as if she had not heard Eve's voice.

"What's wrong with her ...." Eve frowned.

"Maybe Amy's upset. Derek must still be working with Mike." Alex sighed at Eve's chin to refocus on her.

"He was angry. It's late and her husband hasn't gone into the room." Alex laughed as Eve pinched her waist.

Amy did not return to her room. He descended from the second floor and headed straight for the exit of the mansion. Two men who were standing and chatting immediately stood ready and looked down at Amy.

Amy recognizes Nick, who sometimes drives Mike when he doesn't want to drive himself.

"You're Nick, right?"

"Yes, Madam."

"Ck! Call me Amy!"

The two men looked at each other. Amy ignored.

"Where's your car, Nick? You should drive me. I need a ride!"

Nick gawked at the young mistress with the big belly stepping towards the car in the courtyard of the mansion.

"Hey, Nick! You heard me!" scream Amy.

"Yes ... Yes, Madam!" In a hurry, Nick opens the door and lets the light in. He nodded and shrugged, coding his partner who was in charge of guarding the mansion, then he moved behind the wheel.

"Road, Nick! I'll tell him the direction while I walk!" amy's orders are firm.

Nick nodded. "Okay, Madam."

Nick turns on the car and hopes his mistress doesn't take him to some strange place. His master's wife looked angry, maybe she was fighting and finally chose to go out for a while.

The unpleasant feeling made Eve finally pull Alex's arm and walk quickly towards Derek's office.

"We'll bet again. I think Amy's upset that Derek's still working" Alex said.

Eve snorted hearing it.

"No. Face's different. Something must have happened."

"If I win, you can't argue with me anymore."

Eve stopped at the door of Derek's office and turned to face Alex with raised eyebrows.

"And if I win, you must obey all my wishes" Eve said.

Alex fell silent. He knew Eve was trading.

Their deal comes to a halt when Derek and Mike show up at a door that suddenly opens wide.

"You ... Why are you standing here?" Derek asked in wonder.

"We're just about to go in and ask you why does Amy look so angry after coming back from here?" ask Eve.

Derek and Mike were shocked and looked at each other.

"Amy here?" ask Mike.

"Yes. I saw him back from the hallway. Who else does he meet besides you."

"Jeez .. lest he hear our conversation, Mike." Derek walked quickly down the hallway and headed straight for his room with Amy. Blank. The room is empty.

"Mike! He's not back in the room!" Derek's shout made Mike run down first and head straight for the exit. Derek followed her with a disheveled face and looked anxious.

"What's really going on!?" Eve shouts and hastily follows along with Alex.

They met the bodyguards standing guard in front of the mansion who were staring in wonder at them.

"Did you see Miss Amy coming out?" ask Mike. The guard nodded.

"He's going with Nick, sir."

"Oh my God .. He must have been to Lucius' place! We have to catch up with him!" Derek screamed with giddy eyes looking for a car. Alex who immediately understood and responded to the running situation and immediately got behind the wheel.

Tires squeaked loudly as Alex stopped the car in front of the mansion. Derek and Mike immediately jumped in the back, while Eve sat in front beside Alex.

"Hurry, Alex! I don't want Amy to meet Lucius and go on a rampage! I don't know what Lucius will do!"

Mike took his phone and called Nick. He wanted to order his bodyguard to bring Amy back. But his call was repeatedly deliberately on rejeck.

"It looks like Nick's phone is in your wife's hands, Derek."

Derek rubbed his face and imagined his heavily pregnant wife coming alone to the Sanchez Mansion and went berserk.

"Yes God ... Sweety ...," he said.
